Guyver

We still don't really know just how Zoanoids are named. Presumably the scientists decide on a name, either individually as a sort of recognition if they were mainly responsible for some new type, or as a committee; or maybe it's the Zoalords' privilege. Thing is, most names don't seem to make much sense. Even in Japanese. So... how would you name Zoanoid types if they had to have English, somewhat descriptive names - ie, supervillain names, kind of 90's style? Gregole – Ramhorn Vamore – Glare Ramotith – Feral Thancrus - Deathblade Derzerb - Ironclad Gaster - Blastwave Elegen - Conduit Zektoll - Hercules

Any release date yet? I've had a quick search but it came up blank. Where is good to get updates on book releases? Any good guyver news related Web pages on the net?

Just became a Guyver fan after renting 26 episodes. Man!! who is this top Zoalord Alkenphel? What's his Origin and the council of 12? Nothing has been detailed from the 26 episodes.

So has anybody heard anything regarding a season 2 of the Guyver?

I have the japanese manga of the guyver books 8-19 and it looks like Agito is getting more and more volatile. He has always had his own agenda but it looks like he may be in over his head. I mean facing off against 3 zoalords?! I am beginning to wonder if he will even survive the whole guyver saga that we have come to love. I mean Sho has died how many times, 3? If anyone can feel me in on any plot elemants I would appreciate it. Sorry if this topic has been brung up before or if I posted it in the wrong discussion.

Hey everybody, I'd like to share a fun project idea! I've been wanting to create Zoanoid Data File videos, in the style of the OVA Series - complete with delightfully cheesy voice overs provided by me! I have the goal of making Data File videos for all the known Zoanoids, save for the ones already analyzed in the OVA series. I might also make Data File videos for the Zoalords, Guyver II F, and maybe even Apollon! What I'm asking isn't a plot for a fanfiction, but rather the physical/visual/lethal portion. Would the guyvers be relegated to sparks whenever they use their blades, or would the Rider's swords finally be able to slice and dice freely? Would the enemy creatures actually kill something (kuuga nonwithstanding) and do ot without dancing around or waving their arms, or could human factions hold their own against zoanoids? (ex: kabuto, kiva, agito) Would riders become capable killing machines? Could the enemy monsters kill anyhuman without the humans being thrown backwards and then getting up? Think about it...

I not sure if this topic has been covered when guyver one turned into gigantic guyver why did his Armour turn yellow? and when guyver three changed into gigantic dark he stayed the same color just darker. The reason i ask this is that im painting both models guyver two and gigantic guyver and both yellows seem the same. This asks the question if guyver two had become a gigantic would he of been dark blue or female guyver turned gigantic would turn out to be what ? Any logic on this guys.

Although Archanfel's plan to take 12 zoalords and an army of zoanoids into deep space, via the ark, seems to be falling apart, what do you think would happen if he was successful in finding the advents? My thoughts are that they would obviously be attacked, what chance would Archanfel and the ark have against them?

...that the Guyver unit can regenerate the host at a cellular level? Why take such a bold gamble, when if it had gone wrong he was effectively handing the unit to Kronos on a silver plate and destroying a valuable ally in the process?

Ya know I've often wondered, but never found an answer. Is the blueish casing around the Guyver unit part of the unit itself, or something Chronos put around it to keep it in check?

Just curious. When a unit first bonds with a host it is thought the control medal records everything about the host. Not being developed for humans the unit does not know the difference between host and non host. So, hy does the unit not regenerate the hosts clothes? One could say the materials are not organic but most clothing material is, or originates from. One could say it is not living organic material but neither are hair or finger/toenails or teeth. I have thought abuot the space which nerves reach but again the hair and nails thing. I have thought that perhaps the unit can sense and read a hosts aura and utilises that field as the extend of what is host and…

I've just heard that Guyver is in another Language already! I was talking to a freind of mine today, and it hit me, 'how does he already know about guyver?' Well, apparently it's been on tv already back in Malaysia where he comes from. He then kinda preceded to tell me all about Malaysian dub quality... all anime done in Malay is acted out by four people: -a young man -a ditzy girl -a little kid -and an older gentlmen These four people play every charactor in every series in the county (and we thought we had it bad). Anyone have scans of the gaster, elegen, gregole, or cards 37, 38, and 39? I ask because those are the only cards I havent seen, and well, I've got stats for all of them except the last 3, which I personally believe are Enzyme cards. Also, even if you dont have those 4 sets, feel free to post what you've got, just to brag. I personally own the 3 sets of Guyvers. I personally would love to own all of them, but they're rare and most people arent willing to sell them.

Okay, I've been trying to figure out two of the Zoalords names. First. Guyot. How is that properly pronounced? What nationality is he supposed to be? a Little confused. Second. Friedrich van Purkstall, or whatever. What is that supposed to be? I get that he's German, but what is the german name(not translated into japanese) supposed to be? Then Balcas. Duch right? So how do you pronounce his name?(and what's the duch name?)

After alk used the remover it just laid there on the floor. I wonder if the guyver 0 unit was just given back to uranus or is still somewhere on the island in alks possession. Maybe it will come into play later in the story.
