So I am fairly new here, as a member. Just out of curiosity, if I order the Guyver chapters, do I get them translated to English?

I think the data file on Ramoith said it was the most popular Zoanoid and I'm not sure if that was among Chronos warriors or post X-Day. I got to wonder why it is so liked. I mean I think it pops up more in the background than Gregoles, Takaya sure likes it at least. Is it the bat-bear look or the common purple fur? I hope this topic isn't too petty. Design wise I got a soft spot for Broize.

Had this for years, can't recall seeing it on the net and was talking to Sully about scanning things so I thought I'd scan this. Artist is Steve Kyte. date is 1995. The article is not worth reading though tbh so don't bother asking. it's rife with mistranslations and inaccuracies and has no interviews with anyone of importance.

I've been watching and researching various other TV shows and films and such, and I've become interested in how certain crossovers would be like. In the past, I've mentioned Guyver and Twilight. However, how would characters from Guyver get on at Hollywood Arts? Or deal with computer hackers like in Eye Candy? Granted, Victorious and Eye Candy both star the chick who's in my avatar. And yes, I know that Victorious is a kid friendly teen/family sitcom and Eye Candy doesn't exactly deal with monstrous creatures. But how would such a crossover work in you guys' minds and what's your opinions on such things?

I think the forum would be improved if it had a few threads dedicated to rating fanfic and rating the new episodes and perhaps the manga issues or volumes. Just a thought. What do you think?

Wikipedia article on Bio-Booster Armor Guyver says that since 2009 its been published in Monthly Young Ace, which is a hybrid Shonen/Seinen mag. Yet, all reliable sources say that Guyver has been continuously published in Monthly Shonen Ace since 2002. I know that for a while there was a debate on Wikipedia as to whether or not Guyver is a shonen manga or a shonen/seinen hybrid, like Evangelon and the last two arcs of Jo Jo's Bizarre Adventure became. So does anyone know if Wikipedia's edit on where Guyver chapters are published is right or wrong? I believe based on dedicated manga sources that Guyver is to date published in Shonen Ace monthly.

Are they still going on? I haven't seen any topics for them, so I can't help but wonder.

Just to warn you, it's mostly negative. But despite having a point about the problem with the lack luster animation and movies, you can easily catch how clueless they are about the Guyver. Like the comment that Chronos created the Guyver http://revision3.com/animetv/guyver#rev3Player We should all post comments on their site telling them how they gave a too lopsided review, as this is very negative press for the Guyver.

Okay. This is a past favorite character subject by Jupiter himself. I'm willing to take my theory to the grave. Richard thought he needed the Guyver unit. Honestly, he had all the power he needed. He had Chronos under his thumb, all he had to do was report back to Barcas. Even that was too stressful for him to do. And than there are the delusions of grandeur that with a Guyver unit he'd have a god complex. Even though it took two Guyver's and one proto zoalord to face off against him. Serously? If Richard got his hands on a Guyver unit. Would Arkenphel still been able to stop him? I think Richard might have killed off the majority of the Zoalords, but I don't think he could have killed Arkenphel just with that. I highly doubt he knew anything about the Gigantic cocoons because Balcus knew of no such thing until after Relics Point. But, I do believe Richard may still be able to get his hands on a guyver unit. He's a pretty persistant guy. He was more successful at wiping out most of the Libertus with the aid of the Unus against Griselda. He's very smart, very strategic when it comes to combat even though he's made some mistakes.

Yo, thought it might be fun to start a thread where we could debate how on earth good ol Guyot survived the events of Relic's Point. So I am ashamed to admit that I still do not understand the difference in both appearance and method of creation of the gravity bullets from Richard, in the anime. When we first see them they appear to be like miniature pressure cannons, created within the palm of his hand. We see a green energy aura around his hand (my guess being the aura showing the audience the various level of power: green = Proto-Zoalord power level Aptom was seen with a green aura later as well, gold = Zoalord power level, blue = Gigantic etc). Yet later on, we see Richard fire red energy like attacks from the crystal substance on his hand, which appears to be energy beams. Yet, he calls them …

Literally. I rewatched Guyver(1991) and he comes off like a hot head at the beginning of the movie. He's got a short fuse and he's a bit immature. He's learning some form of martial arts and he literally can't spar. He's easily distracted, and often he's told to pay attention. So this Asian guy knocks him in the nose.
