Ok, so before i begin talking, i want to first say, if you are religious, I’m not challenging what you believe as part of your religion. I'm not saying there is no God, and I’m not saying you should believe so either. Now, this is kinda long, but i feel there’s a huge area of discussion here, so please bear with me. So the topic is pretty self-explanatory, how do God and the Big Bang work with one another, or does one disprove the other. Some of you might know that last Sunday Discovery channel had a new show on called Curiosity that talked about this very topic. After watching it, it raised some questions in me that I’ve thought about before, but now have a little mor…

  2. forgive the long post but ... While rereading the first chapter ( http://www.japan-leg...5036#entry75036) heres something ive only just kind of noticed, or maybe not thought about that much before, or have just plain forgotten becaue its been so long.... When the Guyver organism first interacts with Sho it ejects from the casing and is 100% tendrills and the Control Metal, then some parts of it solidify and then the 'armour' is formed... this makes me think that all the armour is just solidified organism, erm... like if our skin was the tendrils and the soles of our feet were the armour i.e same substance just harder. For some reason i had always thought that the…

I was just thinking about how our idea for life generally includes a certain range of temperatures. then I thought about what if it is easily possible for a kind of life to flourish at much lower temperatures to what we could withstand. and if that life came to our temperature, it would be incinerated. I thought that there are compounds that form a liquid at much lower temperatures than us and so would be able to be as naturally fluid at very low temperature. such a creature living on a planet very far from their sun, like a moon round jupiter, would be just fine, very comfortable there. the water in our bodies would freeze solid, but they would be happy as anything. for…

Many of us refer to the OVA for saying the Guyver feeds off the host for energy, but the VDF that Takaya wrote explains so much of the energy systems as being based on the gravity controller. Is it possible to get an accurate translation of that part of the anime, because it always gets us into a tizzy. Guyot's comment about the host's energy being a limiting factor always throws us off. What is he exactly saying word for word in Japanese?

  5. If they can, I think I found the one Aptom got the high frequency spear from! It hasn't been named yet but it appears right here: http://www.japan-leg..._Valkyria/162/6 and http://www.japan-leg..._Valkyria/162/7 Also there appears a Hyper-Zoanoid in that same chapter who has a bio blaster for his torso: http://www.japan-leg...Valkyria/162/13 , but Aptom uses that exact shape for a bio blaster 3 volumes before that: http://www.japan-leg...heritance/147/5 I'm definitely believing Aptom absorbed these Hyper-Zoanoids while Khan had control over him, but only if Hypers are able to be replicated. If they can be I think he absorbed those two. What's everyone's opinion on thi…

How does the Host of the Guyver command the suit to activate it's weapons, does he/she do it through thought or does the suit reconize the situation I have been wondering this since I first started watcing the Guyver since I was 5.

I read an article written by Ryuki that the Guyver has two of everything; namely eyes, sensor orbs, and megasmasher. At first, I didn't understand why the Guyver would need two of everything until I found this. Here is a quote from a site "Flatworms are bilaterally symmetrical, with "mirror image" right and left sides, probably a development that arose during the evolution of a front end - if an animal tends to "lead" with the same end all the time, it will move most efficiently if both sides match. A preferred front end also leads to cephalization, a concentration of senses and processors in the front. A preferred front end becomes an actual head end. In an interes…

It is said that life force or chi animates our physical bodies. That or it helps animate our bodies. Any idea how something like that interacts with our physical bodies to animate them?

Just thought I'd ask some opinions regarding dealing with subordinates. I have this subordinate who is very, very poor in English. How poor you say? This is what that person said: "I just like to follow the status of supplier because until they will not entry in our store." I totally understand what it meant. But do you? I'm not really particular in punctuation, conjunctions or any of all that "Proper English" stuff. But the grammar is just plain terrible. We usually don't use English on a daily basis, but when it comes to dealing with foreign clients and customers, you cannot avoid but speak in English. Now imagine yourself talking to this person, will you be f…

Yo! I've been wondering about Zoalord teleportation, namely how it works and its limits. During the Mt. Minikami Incident with the Relic, the entire Council teleported from their meeting place at the Arizona Base all the way to Japan without suffering any loss of power, and yet, after that incident we haven't seen any of them utilize teleportation again, unless you count Yentsui's ability to cut open portals in space (which seems alot less efficient than simply porting to wherever you wanna go like Archanfel does or like the Council did when summoned by Barcus to confront Guyot). I mean, I thought teleportation was one of the basic abilities common to all Zoalords, ena…

Sorry i may repeat myself via changing the words and such if i do. Well really silly question and i am sure somewhere someone has asked this but i am not sure where, but what would happen in the world of the Guyver if it was crossed with say x-men or x-men evolution. Like i know that humanity was created via bioscience and though selective breeding with the aim of survival of the fittest, like with the other creatures the Creators made that way but humanity had the best potential as from what i remember two three things that stuck out were; 1) adaptability- changing and improving when need though there bodies did not do this but the way they went about the problems? …

so when a zoanoid transforms into it's battleform, it seems to gain mass? well first off I think we need to confirm this factor. what evidence do we have that a human form does not have great mass? (the only one i can think of is mizuki helping fumio... but that may or may not be reliable. there may be other factors involved.) can we come up with some way of explaining how a human form has the same mass as his battleform? if not, and there is really a mass discrepancy, how can we go about explaining it? we have already had some idea, but maybe we need to clear it up. while we are talking about this, I think that a good subtopic to be involved in this maybe at …

All this talk about God and Religion in my other thread reminded me of the time I was having a discussion with a colleague at my previous place of employment. The guy was great; he was great to talk to, very experienced about the world and had a military background. He was great company and I loved talking to him about anything philosophical and learned a lot from him. I can't remember what made us get onto the topic; he was born and raised Catholic but renounced his faith and became an Atheist through his personal experience. I asked him that fair enough, he doesn't believe in God, but what was his opinion on the Soul since both are pretty much hand in hand. He said tha…

So those not in the know, I recently went out with a 16yr old girl. Shortly after getting to 1st base I began to think heavily on what chemistry might be brewing. You see, I'm 20 and she is 16. The U.S.A's Law of Consent states that anyone under the age of 18 cannot give legal consent to sexual activities and any violation of these activities can result in a statutory rape felony charge. Now things got a little serious between me and the 16yr old (We just made out a little don't worry) and a part of me wants to pursue the relationship further...but I know the consequence to that and that consequence is JAIL. So 3 options came to my mind as I drove home to my apartment…

Do you think it is possible, that dinosaurs (specifically carnivors) possesed some bacteria in their salivia that killed their prey no matter what, like the komodo dragon? And if they did, would it have any signifgant change in the study and understanding of them? Would it change the way scientist look at them? Footage of Komodo dragons eating their prey after the lethal bite.

This is something that I've been wondering. We all know that in Sci-Fi a force field and/or barrier of energy is the norm for most super powered beings or battle ships. But I want to know the science behind them. What type of energy actually makes up the field? How does it really work? Can a force field be used to actually deflect a barrage of missiles and energy blasts back at the attacker? Could said force field also absorb the attack as incoming energy ans revert it as an attack on the attacker but in a totally different form of energy? Also, what would be needed to generate a field of energy that could be used as a defensive countermeasure for the body? And do we h…

  20. Me and my cousin play a lot of games. rpg and heroclix and such. So we wanted to add the Guyver into certain Games and we came up with a few questions and a few brain teasers. at least for me. We got the basics mostly covered but when how his powers worked it came up with a few problems during gameplay. so my first question is this... His sonic busters. Are they similar to the powers of the mutant banshee? The Manga showed he can use it to atomize targets by resonating to their resistant frequencies, and it showed him using it as a means to escape by letting out a distorting pulse. like a really high pitched wail. Ok, now in the new series it went a step further. Wh…

i have used the below quote from here http://www.japan-legend.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=1425 as it sparked this thought for a topic... I never thought the exceed idea wouldnt go down too well with other people, i like the idea of a 52metre Guyver ( going back to an earlier discussion in the science lab that means a 52 m Sho!) .... i think the mass used to create the exceed would have just been an increased energy intake ( converted to mass) from the boost dimension right?? so theoretically depending on the energy potential of the boost dimension we could end up with a Galactus sized Guyver - Guyver C.E.R.G - Convienient Exceedingly Ridiculoulsy Ginormous where …

We talk about teleportation of the Zoalords in another thread. Those who clearly can are : - Alkamphel - Cabral Khan - Yentsui - The Black Knight Those who seems to be unable to : - Shin (flyed to help Purgstall) - Purgstall (flyed to meet the Gigantic) - Balcus (escaped the arizona base thanks to yentsui) - Guyot (escaped from Alkanphel, simply running) Not sure : All the others... BUT How did all the zoalords appear at the top of Relic Point in book 08 ??? They appear in a big thunderbolt, just like they came for the sky... Do they used an unknown power of Purgstall ?? I don't think that Alkanphel made them appear here. He was fighting Guyot. Any ide…

philosophically, you most certainly can argue with that. the uranus did shape and guide the development of life on earth. but to what degree? some aspects of humanity are certainly meeting the requirements of the creators goals, but there are many facets to the nature of humanity. not all of them are completely about what the creators wanted. for a race of beings that were supposed to be weapons, humans are surely capable of an awful lot of compassion. also, consider that guyver is meant to express the traits of the host and expand them. what happens with a human host? the host is freed from the control of the creators. is this a hint towards humans true purp…

I have yet to see the Manga to see what Sho is really capable of but i have seen the Anime and something that i have noticed is that if Sho were to face Sean from Guyver 2 The dark hero (under some weird case of event) , he would lose without putting a decent fight , i know that they have the same unit in witch they would be equal in strength but in skill is a different story , these are the reasons why i say it : Sho on the Anime has learned to use the gravity orb ,frequency blades ,the head beam , mega smasher ,Hyper sense , sonic busters and the gravity cannon and can barely beat a Hyper Zoanoid on is own ,got owned by Guyver 2 and had to transform into gigantic Guyv…

I have always wondered how a Guyver "hears". I know that the VDF states that the Hyper Sensors are three dimensional compound sensors, the Hypersensitive Magnetic Field Sensor captures movement of mass with the Gravity Sensor and that the Quantum Magnetic Sensor can distinguish the brainwaves of humans and Zoanoids. In the new anime TV series, they worked differently, and worked on sonic vibrations. I know that to be false. So how can a Guyver hear? I think it's by either two ways: The Guyver's skin is sensitive to vibrations, similar to a snake, and can choose which part of the body "hears" vibrations, or that the crest on top of the Guyver's heads is the sole funct…
