Hi guys! I bought a Aptom 2 kit from ebay a few weeks back but i cant figure out what type of material it is made out of. The instruction mentioned that it is made out of “vinyl plastic”. Can i actually use PVC solvent to bond them together? Thanks in advance. P.s. Does anyone know where i can get the Aptom 3 kit?

Hi Guys!! It's been a long time since I've been to the forum; wish you all are doing good. I'm in the process of moving houses when i came across my collection gathering dust in the basement. I think its time i let go for someone who can appreciate it and would like to add to their collection. With the exception of two of the figures, all have remained in their boxes in pristine condition. I have two guyver III's, one is missing his breast plate and one is complete. Guyver II is missing one sword. Otherwise the collection is complete. I haven't posted it on any website yet, let me know if you're interested in any and i'll be glad to share. The two missing stuff i'll …

While I was looking at his armor again the chest piece and helmet look like a relic ship flying downward. And the black orbs also remind me of Uranus’s eye and the other ones. The wait for answers is killing me lol. Too many theories like what if Apollyon is Uranus coming back to finish the job and maybe he has a soft spot for alk. Highly unlikely, but it is fun to think of all the potential options for who Apollyon is.

For example the Guyver wiki lacks the info of Guyver III having attained Gigantic Exceed, so it doesn't appear to be up to date.

Hi all, Guyver fan for a very longer time here. Still have all of the old OVA's on VHS from when I was 12. Just a quick question. I read the all of the manga or what was around of the manga online in 2015/16. Went to start again but seems to be even less from where I left up to, from memory I was on a chapter where The sugewa twins were on silhu island and there was a random house there, unsure what chapter this was? But it no longer seems to be online? I have have been looking around on the internet and apparently if I buy the manga's I can get the content online is that the case? Question is where do you buy them from? And I will happi…

I was reading over the tvtropes where I was reminded of it, I listed the construction of the quilt as a crowning moment of awesome/heart warming. If he did I wonder if he'd mention it in the next book. Be such a huge shame if it got thrown away on accident

Hi, New to the forum. Just curious if it's still possible to get the scanlations for the latest 3 volumes if I purchase the physical books and can prove that I own them. I ordered them today and just want to get caught up on the 3 volumes that aren't available anywhere in english. Thanks so much!

Hello everyone, I just signed up yesterday and this website is pretty difficult to navigate, and find information on. Long time Guyver fan from back in 95 when I first rented the anime at blockbuster. Seeing Guyver I get killed by enzyme in the first grade was wild!!! Lol I'm just trying to get information and connect with some Guyver fans. For the English translation do you guys not honor digital copies? Where would I submit that I own the hard copy to? Why the hell did they cut the manga and anime off? If anyone could help me out I would really appreciate it thanks.

So I'm bored, and I like Doomsday, and Guyver. Both visually awesome characters with great physical powers. Now to make the fight interesting, I decided to keep the Gigantic and Exceed Guyver forms out of the battle. I'm interested in discussing if the Guyver can take Doomsday with the default settings of powers. So what do you think? Can the Guyver without his power ups take on the beast that killed Superman? I think this is a great battle. Doomsday on the surface would be like any other Zoanoid, or Hyper Zoanoid, but he's far more durable than any of of them. Back in 1992 during the Death of Superman comic, Doomsday tanke…

This is something akin to the "Who can beat Archanfel". I wanted to see what kind of weapons, contemporary or science fiction, could defeat or disable a guyver. With that said, things like the Death Star's Super Laser or other weapons of planetary devastation are off the table as these are over kill. These weapons don't have to be instant kill either and can be something that would only affect a regular guyver, you don't have to aim for Gigantic and Exceed right off the bat. First suggestion: The Oxygen Destroyer The Oxygen Destroyer was the invention of Dr. Daisuke Serizawa. Having devoted his studies to the element oxygen, Serizawa accidentally stumbled u…

So, I've been a fan of Guyver for probably about 20-odd years, now, ever since I saw the first movie (don't judge me, I was, like, 10), eventually watching the second one and the OVAs etc. etc. However, I go in and out of phases and recently got back into it and decided to catch up with the manga. I think I last stopped off somewhere in volume 27, shortly after the introduction of Valkyria and Apollyon. I'm curious where we are, not really plot-wise, just logistically. I know there are 32 collected volumes, but where are we chapter-wise? I know there hasn't been an update is something like three years, but what chapter number are we on? Is the last chapter we have th…

Hello, JL. It's been awhile. After the dip in production values for the second half of the series, I'm glad they were able to cap it off in style. There were still a couple of minor flubs, but overall I really loved the art style for this particular episode and the animation quality was much improved. It definitely looks like this OVA was handed to a different set of animators. I wish the whole series had been in this style. Sho has to contend with the vengeful Aptom who's immune to the Guyver's arsenal but through sheer force of will Sho manages to overcome his formidable opponent and win the day. This fight was awesome and it's the one episode (other than OVA4 ' At…

With the series still on hiatus after 3 years and no new information about whats going on, does anyone else think that this might be the end? I've just come across some new information - i'd thought i pass on, nothing confirmed - and could just be hearsay: https://www.reddit.com/r/Guyver/comments/bd5gjw/was_anyone_else_aware_that_guyver_is_over/ According to the post - Yoshiki Takaya also had a partner who was helping him with Guyver who unfortunately died in 2016, after his passing Takaya gave up and is now more focused on his dentistry practice. Like everyone on this forum - i hope this isn't true... and the Guyver will return someday.

If Richard got his hands on a Guyver unit. Would Arkenphel still been able to stop him? I think Richard might have killed off the majority of the Zoalords, but I don't think he could have killed Arkenphel just with that. I highly doubt he knew anything about the Gigantic cocoons because Balcus knew of no such thing until after Relics Point. But, I do believe Richard may still be able to get his hands on a guyver unit. He's a pretty persistant guy. He was more successful at wiping out most of the Libertus with the aid of the Unus against Griselda. He's very smart, very strategic when it comes to combat even though he's made some mistakes.

First of all, let's look at the issues with Guyver: Dark Hero being canon: - We have to ignore the first American movie entirely. It copies and Americanizes too many events that happened in Japan, and basically replaced the manga. Solution: Not hard, just don't watch it. - Then, If we omitted the scenes with adult Asian American Mizuki, the story of Sean Barker is actually different enough that it isn't copying too much in the manga, like the first movie did. Solution: Skip the opening scenes until Sean is already in Utah and meets Corey. IMO, It's more mysterious that way, not knowing Sean is the Guyve…

Like Guyver III's double elbow blades, or the head spikes. Or Guyver II's asymmetrical heat exhaust ports, etc. Do you think it could caused by humans all having different features from one another? Something gentic in each person? Or could it just be a random occurrence?

Based on the fact that most modern weapons don't do diddly to most Zoanoids aside from be a minor irritant, I'd think not. Some background: I'm big into World War II era history, and if I'm correct (which I might not be), Chronos, in some form, existed back then. Just wondering what thoughts or opinions readers might have for if something like X-Day or some Zoanoid uprising happened during World War II.

Since I was 10 years old, I've always loved Guyver and Aliens nearly equally. In fact one day I picked up a Star Wars magazine in the early 90s and in the back of it it had both Aliens models and Max Factory Guyver models on the same page, which I think proves that there are similarities and they have similar demographics. Several months ago I found a post on someone's blog about Guyver I versus The Predator, and it was a pretty cool fanfic to read. That's probably where I got the idea for this in the first place. After I'd already gotten my Guyver I figure and I decided I wasn't going to get any of the other BFC figures for a little while, I picked up a neca aliens figur…

So, after watching Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (and getting 'Spidey Bells') stuck in my head, I've decided to write a Guyver-inspired little ditty called, "Guyver Bells." Ohhhhhh, Guyver Bells, Guyot Smells Balcus Laid an Egg Archanfel raises Hell And Aptom Got Away, Hey! Guyver Bells, Gregole Yells Vamore shoots his ray MegaSmasher's off the chain It's time to run away! ...I'll let you ponder this for a bit.

Unfortunately my interest in my favorite anime and manga has been slipping a little bit and the only reason for that is actually not the same reason as most of you might have. I am STILL holding myself back from reading the last 3 books because I WANT to read them in 日本語. It's taking a lot longer to learn than I thought (and I screwed up a bit so I had to restart). It's been many months since I started and left off on volume 29. I was thinking I'd like to reread Guyver to re-motivate myself and I was wondering... how did you guys do it? Did you start from the beginning of the manga, or did you watch the 2005 series and started from there? Did you just say screw it and sta…
