This may seem more like a rant or maybe a vent, but honestly, we all think about it. Why does Guyver not perform so well with producers or audiences? I mean it definitely has appeal. It has an amazing story, incredible battles/fight scenes, a complex plot, memorable characters, and has influenced scifi in many ways. It's sparked three versions of animes and two films. I just don't get it. Why so many people prefer things like fullmetal or some of this newer stuff that's coming out that I think is garbage. Even if Guyver didn't or doesn't get another chance of a remake or continuation it's still a great show that could be aired, I can guarantee it would gain a great fanbas…

Just curious, let's take the ship Jason has stored away and say whatever model it may or may not become, war ship, clan ship, space station, fighter ship, SUV (Space Utility Vehicle). It had a unit in it. Is it possible the ship upon command has the ability to grow new units? The ship control medals we have encountered show the ability to enhance units, why not grow them? Perhaps the rooms in which they are stored is designed for this.

for sometime i have searched the internet for the making of this film i have only found about six clips from stunts bloopers to interviews only low resolution though, i think alot of these extra's was on the laserdisk versions can anyone shed any light on this. Also guyver mutronics on laserdisk does anyone own this and does it come with any extra's.

Does anyone have any comparisons or opnions on eithe the 12 part OVA or TV series? I just watched the 12 part OVA and the recent 26 episode TV series and had a blast having not watched either in quite a while. I thout it might be fun to do some camparisons or opnions of both. I'll start. I had forgotten how good the OVA was while the artwork wasnt consistant through the 12 parts, I'll assume they had different artists, it was all quite good. The artwork did seem more consistant during the TV series and thought it was quite good as well. We all know the Guyvers are immensely strong, fast and powerful. Plus they have pretty amazing awareness using the orbs in their helmets, and the ability to react very quickly(mostly referring to 2005 anime when Guyver I shot down a bullet headed for Tetsuro) which is also a skill. Forgive me if this topic has been posted before, but how do you suppose the gigantic will combat Archanfel? It seems to me, at present, even with the gigantic armour, Archanfel would still be able to best the guyvers. Unless of course he takes a direct full force giga smasher, Archanfel would probably be able to avoid or survive all other attacks. One of the most powerful new attacks of the gigantic is the black hole type attack, but this I imagine to be, is not to different from Guyot/Imakarums ultimate attack, which Archanfel was able to survive. Perhaps again, we'll see another power unveiled from the Gigantic?

So it seems, someone else has decided to start translating the Manga. And since the Advocacy volumes were available freely up to volume 30, that is where they have started. Hey guys i was wondering if Guyver can be separated into arcs? I admit it's been a long time since i've read it and i'm at like chapter 174 or 175 so what do you guys think? We can all agree that the first arc is something like "Guyver origins" where Sho learns about the Guyver and gets to know how to use its weapons. Maybe it's safe to say that "Arc I" is up to the Sho vs NeoZx or X day? Feel free to comment and keep those suggestions up!

Does anyone feel like the Guyver is completely dead? No new manga chapters, 2 horribly made movies, and a 2005 anime adaptation that didn't even get to see a 2nd season. Everyone here is always waiting and hoping for something and yes. We've been kicking dirt for a long time now. Since I joined here back when Yuki/Jess was the owner. Everyone was waiting on a new anime or a new movie that never happened. To be completely honest. I've given up on ever seeing anything new come to the table. Right so aptom cant absorb guyvers due to the control metal, but what about the boost creature??? due to it not having the control metal he would be able to absorb it but would it truly be a guyver without it? and would his cellular control allow him to regulate it, or perhaps combine it with his pseudo guyver form from way back? in the same vein would he have been able to absorb a proto zoalord? as the dummy crystals arent the real thing, or even to absorb a zoalord who is sans crystal? im thinkin an aptom guyver zoalord would be some crazy strong bugger and the cloning of himself, he could pretty much own everything in battle.

i have started a folder in the manga viewer called covers. It contains the covers of the dvds and vhs of the guyver which many of you all ready have.In order to to make this more interesting i would like people to scan their original covers not fan made from different countries. We have plenty members all over the world which sell the guyver i would love to see the different artwork. If this works and is a success we could expand to not only the dvd/vhs covers but the guyver films and even the book volume covers. Even if you have guyver on vcd the art work would be good.This could be a nice collection if everyone contributes.

Since we're going on a year now since the last chapter release, who knows, maybe it will come down to us wrapping things up ourselves to find closure. Post your own thoughts below. Here is mine that needs to be fleshed out: We get to see a Guyver Zoalord fusion (that was hinted early on) before it's all over. My fanfic ending thoughts from 10+ years ago was Murakami turning back to the side of good and then fusing with Sho's removed Guyver unit to take on Archanfel in an epic finale battle.
