Hey guys! My university's nerd club is trying to come up with ideas for a movie event to host on our campus sometime in the semester. We've already got one idea for April and that'll be a tribute to the coming Godzilla movie, but with our current selection of movies we're at a brick wall so to speak. Okay within the last week my dad was diagnosed with pancriatitis(sp). This means he will not be able to continue his chemo(sp) therapy. So regardless of whether he beats the infection, his brain tumor will still kill him. Right now it is very difficult for me, because I am very close to my father. I know some of you here know what I am going through. Also pretty soon I will most likely be moving away from Kalamazoo, and move back closer to my mom and her family. I hope for your support and understanding.

This is a thread about pets and animals that we own or are interested in. Personally, I own two kittens, one named Jade and the other named Snowball. Both are mostly white (Snowball is all white) and are long haired. We have several cats around here, but those are the two that I claim ownership of. As far as other animals, I've been interested in Camels and Barn Owls. I haven't seen a camel in person, nor have I seen a barn owl. I'll at least seen one hopefully within the next week or two, though, since we have a bird sanctuary in town. So talk away about your pets and favorite animals

So yesterday they released the all female pro-power squad in the new Ghostbuster film. I'm not impressed. It looks like it'll amount to what I expected. I find it ironic though that they have the actor who plays Thor in there as eye candy for the feminist brigade (who will probably be the only people going to see this). Talk about objectification, what hypocrites.

ok guys, i'm back. I think its best to let you guys know that i was actually in prison from feb 2011 till april 2013. i did some bad things, for which i took my punishment, and hopefully i can now make a better life for myself. luckily ryuki stood by me the whole way. i don't have my own net access just yet, but will attempt to get online whenever possible.

Has anyone seen this yet? I saw a later showing in the day since I had to work from 6 AM - 3 PM, but this movie was quite good. It's not perfect but it had some awesome fight scenes like the first predator and alien duking it out. (kinda made me dizzy though, camera movement was too fast ). Some scenes which the crowd cheered for: *The third surviving Predator killing a face hugger in mid-air and an alien afterward with a new weapon. *THe predator and human teaming up *The Predator jumping behind the queen, swinging and stabbing her in the neck with his staff That's about it. Anyway, go and watch the movie, it's good stuff.

Ok, i stayed in indianapolis for a week. Let me first say that i am in no way a health buff. I don't eat a healthy diet and I'm not a wellness nut. I'm just a regular person who eats what i want when i want to. Now, based on the foods that i have consumed in a weeks time with different kinds of food, as well as the foods i ate the last time i was here, i found the food to be very unsettling. What movies are looking forward to in 2005?
