I've been meaning to ask: is Guyver written in kanji or one of the kanas? I'm learning to read Japanese, and I wanted to know which system the Guyver is written in so I know which one to study.

After the successes of Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger this summer, I imagine there's got to be more than a few of us who are psyched to see Earth's Mightiest Heroes coming together on the silver screen next May. So my question to you is...what are your thoughts on the film?

Just currious. Anyone here taking any form of martial arts? If so what kind and what rank? Ive got about five years of martial arts expirience in various styles and i was looking to see if anyone else had any and wanted to discuss some things. Also, if youve never done any but have comments id appriciate that too. Basically anything general on martial arts. Weapons styles work too, even if youve never had professional training in them. I have Bo staff and Japanese sword training, and im taking Sai and Nunchaku training now.

I know quite a number of people who aparently dont have, or cant remember having dreams. Personaly I dream every night, but forget most of them through out the day unless they are especialy vivid or distinctive. For me the theme is usualy based on something that has passed through my mind during the day, but I've not spent too much time thinking about. Due to a request i am making this thread to discuss the spider-man movie coming 2012. Saw it last night, got to say I loved it. Even more so Dolf's gun at the very start of the movie. Deffo a movie for action movie fans and was great to see so many good old and new action movie stars together in a movie that worked well. Penty gets shot, stabs, upper body blown off their legs, things blow up, what more could one want?

english is a very awkward language. every week when i teach english, we have various exercises going over different grammar, verb inflections and all that. most native english speakers do not realise how tricky it can be. it's when your mind is working with a different language, that is when it becomes apparent how contrary english actually is. a lot of people who may have english as their second language, are very self conscious about their ability. even though a lot of the time, their english is better than many native english speakers. an interesting fact for you here... Captain America is one of my favorite characters and I'm getting really excited about the upcoming movie. It was already confirmed that Christ Evans will be taking the lead role of the famed Avenger. My question is, how will this affect the whole franchise of Marvel movies seeing that Evans already appeared as the Human Torch in the earlier Fantastic Four movie? I'm also somewhat skeptical about his performance since I percieved him as somewhat immature in his earlier roles. I was hoping that they would cast an unknown actor for the titular role. This is old news but Western Digital releases world's first 1 TB internal hard drive. The average laptop hard drive 9.5mm but the new one is 12.5mm which means it may not fit in some of the laptops out there. Seagate will soon be releasing their own as well. Saw it! loved it! Wihtout saying too much to spoil it. The movie was a really good story and amazing effects. First movie I've seen in modren 3d so was a big surprise so see 3D really working well. Anyway just to say, if you've not seen it and have the option of seeing it in 3D, I'd recommend going to see it while you can.
