Let's try to keep this board alive while we impatiently wait for a new chapter! We've previously discussed film and anime ideas for Guyver COUNTLESS times, but I don't think we've ever had a thread on a live action TV series (correct me if I'm wrong). With Netflix being super popular at the moment, how would you do a live action Guyver series? Would you change the design of the armour? Would you change the story or follow the manga? Which actors would you like to see play who? Personally, I'd like something similar to Netflix's Daredevil series. Dark and gritty. Show me what you've got!

Since we're going on a year now since the last chapter release, who knows, maybe it will come down to us wrapping things up ourselves to find closure. Post your own thoughts below. Here is mine that needs to be fleshed out: We get to see a Guyver Zoalord fusion (that was hinted early on) before it's all over. My fanfic ending thoughts from 10+ years ago was Murakami turning back to the side of good and then fusing with Sho's removed Guyver unit to take on Archanfel in an epic finale battle.

I am not a big guyver buff but can someone confirm that this won't be a guyver ending no matter what happens. here we go : Guyver 1 gigantic exceed and guyver 3 gigantic take on archanfel. Battle ensues. They fight, kick, slash whatever. in the end, guyver 3 gigantic is holding archanfel from behind and begs guyver 1 gigantic exceed to hit both him and archanfel with the super mega giga megasmasher. Guyver 3 gigantic and archanfel get reduced to dirt. Chronos is gone, guyver 1 is the only one that remains. Happily ever after yada yada. The end. I haven't read much manga, is this sort of ending in the making or can it happen?

This may seem more like a rant or maybe a vent, but honestly, we all think about it. Why does Guyver not perform so well with producers or audiences? I mean it definitely has appeal. It has an amazing story, incredible battles/fight scenes, a complex plot, memorable characters, and has influenced scifi in many ways. It's sparked three versions of animes and two films. I just don't get it. Why so many people prefer things like fullmetal or some of this newer stuff that's coming out that I think is garbage. Even if Guyver didn't or doesn't get another chance of a remake or continuation it's still a great show that could be aired, I can guarantee it would gain a great fanbas…

Which chapter is it where Sho Fukamachi and Mizuki consummate their relationship?

So I've been a fan for a long time and have read most of the manga up to book 30, now from what I understand is this was the place to go to get the translations if you bought the Japanese books. Now my question is, is this still active? if I buy the Japanese books can I still get the translations? Or has everyone moved on because from what I've seen there hasn't been any new chapters in a long time.

just looking that recently there have been new posts in the ''petition for guyver english manga thread'' and see that we are up o 144 posts.... however in the 5 years the thread has been up there have been 24,300 views... even if we counted repeat viewings by memebers its still got to be at least 23000 unique hits maybe? anyway i know a lot has changed over 5 years but all im thinking is if there is a way to let people sign this petition or a new one ( we could include who wants a second guyver tv series! and more BFC's or something like that) without them having to sign in or be a member? i know it would need to distinguish individuals to avoid multiple …

Are there any Shonen Ace Covers that feature the Guyver prominently? I know you Have Shonen Captain Covers, but I wish you guys had a decent scan of a Shonen Ace Cover With a Guyver (the franchise) on it... Maybe there was one in 2005 featuring the then new anime series. Maybe there was one with it's arrival. Who knows?

...what do you think the result would be? If Chronos attempted to take over the Earth of the MU, would the super-powered community have been able to stop it? This has been on my mind for quite some time, and I was wondering if I could get some perspectives from everyone.

If there's one character you can't stand and would like to have killed off, who would that character be? Honestly. I'd like to see Apollon wiped off the map. I think he's a bigger threat than Arkanphel or Richard Guyot. Just my thoughts though.

So if you were a Zoalord. Would you want a Guyver unit to have more power? Yes? Maybe? No? Be like Richard Guyot maybe? Perhaps succeed where he failed? I probably wouldn't try it. Who knows if it would be worth it or if my zoacrystal would reject the unit. That'd suck if that happened than I'd end up being a rogue or just dead and lose my zoacrystal to Archanfel...or be killed out right.

First of all, let's look at the issues with Guyver: Dark Hero being canon: - We have to ignore the first American movie entirely. It copies and Americanizes too many events that happened in Japan, and basically replaced the manga. Solution: Not hard, just don't watch it. - Then, If we omitted the scenes with adult Asian American Mizuki, the story of Sean Barker is actually different enough that it isn't copying too much in the manga, like the first movie did. Hope this is the right place to post this. I'm wanting to write something, but to at least get it right, I need info on Chronos' facilities. Like names and locations. Can anyone direct me to a site that has these things in detail? And the time frame between Sho was missing to the point he awakened from the Gigantic Cocoon.
