Has it ever been said what school Marcus and Cori were working with, if any? I remember when Cori was introducing Sean to Marcus and Crane, she said something about him coming from "State" (or maybe "Tech", I can't recall). For some reason, I'd always assumed that Marcus and Cori taught at a California school, like one of the California state universities, even though the setting for Guyver: Dark Hero was in Utah (which might imply one of the Utah state universities, though with Chronos Arizona being in such close proximity, I don't think it would be outside the realm of possibility that it might be an Arizona state university as well).

A dark hero bomber jacket is on sale on eBay.co.uk. I would bid on it if it was a large size! Quite the collectors item I'd say!

Is there anywhere to view translations of the data files? I've been trying to find them but the old location is down. It'd be great if there was somewhere with all of them, just the Zoanoid/Zoalord/Guyver stats not the interviews and stuff, all. Additional question; does the new (relatively speaking) policy on translations extend to the data files and that's why they're so hard to find?

So i dont really come here that much but I saw something very interesting that was Guyver related that i couldnt find anyone talking about. Ok so I was looking at David Hayter's twitter, who we all know from Dark Hero. And on Aug 10th 2013 he made a tweet that was a picture with him and Steve Wang and it said discussing Guyver 3. The tittle says it all, from what i found recently looking for some news regarding anything resembling a new Guyver movie and came with this particular twitter comment from David Hayter that he wanted to make a 3rd film with Steve Wang again but Wang said that it was too tangled up in right issues. I didn't know this.But he died right after he played in the 1991 film from open heart surgery at the age of 54. He was probably the only great actor in that film other than Mark Hamil. I will say despite some of the film's failures. David did play a good version of Richard Guyot in the movie although he was actually supposed to be portraying Fulton Barcas.

Anyone remember the brutal death of Guyver 1 at the hands of the original Enzyme in the OVA? I still cannot help but cry while watching that particular episode, especially the English dubbed version! Tom Fahn did an amazing job voicing Sho during his final moments.

Seeing as the original film from the 90's got horrible reviews and how it was perceived as a Power Ranger knock off film than to those not familiar with the manga or the anime. Do you think it ruined things earlier on for the Guyver franchise?

I was searching for a japanese dvd copy of guyver but it seems all that come up is the vhs and laser discs, the dvd just comes from manga entertainment release in the us no dvd release came up?

You know. I'm thinking maybe zoalords had something to do with religion in society in Guyver. Not that its mentioned. But lets say if Christianity and other religions existed in Guyver. Would it have something to do with Alkanphel? I figured its only natural for him to play as a deity and tell humans what to do seeing as they weren't zoanoids and they came to worship him. They would see him as god or as a god. After all. The zoanoids worshiped him so much that they built a temple around him. So I'm just thinking. Greetings my fellow Guyver Advocates! I have been recently going through the scanlated volumes of the manga and found something of particular interest that I would like to discuss. When the creators left Earth they mentioned something about a federation. The way they mentioned this federation it is like it is a higher power to them and that they have to follow it's orders down to the letter. It seemed like it is the federation that gave the kill order of the earth experiment and for the creators to split. Is anyone ever so curious about whether or not Sho and his friends will have a happy ending or if Sho might have one of those hero deaths at the end of the story? I'm just wondering how it will play out should it come to an end.

Does anyone think that the Guyver is way too over powered? I do. Maybe not the user seeing as the user has to know how to use it or unlock certain abilities. But once the user transcends and somehow get's a gigantic and mastered Exceed mode, well....they've hit god mode.

I know Chronos made a virus for Aptom after he caused all that mayhem and ate almost all of the Hyper Zoanoid team 5 plus some more. But do natural viruses effect the baser zoanoids?....Maybe not?

Does anyone feel like the Guyver is completely dead? No new manga chapters, 2 horribly made movies, and a 2005 anime adaptation that didn't even get to see a 2nd season. Everyone here is always waiting and hoping for something and yes. We've been kicking dirt for a long time now. Since I joined here back when Yuki/Jess was the owner. Everyone was waiting on a new anime or a new movie that never happened. To be completely honest. I've given up on ever seeing anything new come to the table.
