Just wondering what everyone thought on this. I grew up with the old one and loved it and i'm watching the new one new after forgetting about it. But rewatching it now i just feel like the old one was a lot better, it just seemed way darker and more violent. Even though the art is old i actually really like the old style.

I'd like to ask the Advocacy something. What ever happened to all the old Guyver sites? Would it be alright to ask about the history of these early fan sites?

I'm re-reading the manga after more than a decade and have a few questions that I'm curious if people have any answers/theories for as I'm not sure the manga has any answers. I'm only up to chapter 140 or so (Agito is setting fire to Waferdanos and Sho just learned how to save Aptom from Cabraal's control. Where did the Zoa-crystals come from? I ordered volumes 1-6 of Chuang Yi Publishing's Spriggan from Comic Legacy. It worked out to $75.32 for all 6 volumes and they should arrive in 6-10 days. Of course this is a bit more expensive than the Guyver books since Guyver is S$7.50 while Spriggan is S$8.90 a volume (S=Singapore dollar). Anywho, I highly suggest them. And it's one and only comment made me chuckle, the staff put in all these years of hard work into supporting and promoting Guyver and in internet fashion the pages one comment is a s##tpost, typical.

I was watching Guyver Out of Control and I noticed how boxy the guyver looked, whats up with that? He looks like the Certex armor from GWOTG. But I gotta admit I liked the Chronos jumpsuits better in Out of Control blue and red it's got a patriotic kind of theme, still would of been better if it were red and white then I could show these americans my true colors as the Canadian I really am. Edit- Just as I was submitting this post I got an idea what if the Chronos jumpsuits where red with white and had a white maple leaf right in the middle for yah know branch purpouses. I could totally see that.

To me the OVA Guyver 1 vs Enzyme 1 fight is the most brutal, violent, hardcore, horrifying, bloody fight that I ever seen. It used to give me the creeps when I was young. I also once showed that episode to my younger brother who is not really interested in Anime and Guyver but, he liked Guyver after watching a few episodes of the OVA version back in the day. About 15 years ago I showed that fight to my younger brother and he was frightened. Reasons why I really like this fight and think it's the most brutal figth ever. During the OVA Guyver series when Sho and Tetsuo meet with the reporter guy and Sho bio-boosted in front of him how does Chronos cover up the whole thing besides bombing the dude's office? Were all of the witnesses killed? Also, would Chronos have been able to cover up Sho bio-boosting on national television? Or maybe in front of a large group of people?

I think we need to make a thread of places where the Guyver manga can be purchased for fellow Guyver fans looking into purchasing the series or whatnot. I just spent $40+ on eBay getting just two volumes (as an artist that's a huge cut into my paycheck). If you guys know of any places that sell the manga or series products (legally) please post a comment so it can be added to the list.
