guyver Novel and CD for sale
Congrats on getting 60 quid for the novel! I almost forgot I had the other two. If i had the money i woulda shot for yours just to get a complete collection. Did I buy the other two novels from you? Or was it someone else? they came with the 12-part OST and a gashapon.

LEGO
Those Guyver legos are awesome! I had these really chunky legos when I was small. They were all the same shapes and stuff in regular lego, just really big. I made buildings and stuff. I think they were Mega Bloks, but I'm not too sure.

Old Guyver sites...

Guyver manga observations - chapters 29-34 (volume 5)
I know what you mean about how you feel regarding Sho losing the ability to transform. i think it is similar to Guyver II and him dying in the first volume - Takaya had no idea how long the manga was going to go, so he probably wanted to include all these really interesting concepts and ideas he had as soon as possible. And yeah, I really can't imagine how excruciating it must have been enduring the waits we have today for those earlier volumes. Juicy stuff happened back then! We take for granted that it all happened long before any of us even knew what Guyver was. And one thing I've always found noteworthy about this book - There's a guy in Takeshiro wearing a McGyver shirt! Always found that pretty funny. I think this volume also has a guy in an Ultraman mask? Though that may have been a recurring thing... I can't remember.

Unit Guyver Animation Material Art Book
Those must be from the 2005 series because they have the Oriental Light & Magic logo up there at the top. those look pretty interesting. a shame we never got more from whoever posted them

The spectrum
things get complicated when we have multiple versions of releases, especially when they're done in radically different formats. I quite like the html version, very nifty and effective for stopping people from hosting it themselves. i could understand maybe releasing a couple watermarked pages to the public, to say "hey, new guyer is out, check it out on japan legend", but for a full blown system, i think the html is really cool.

Unit Guyver Animation Material Art Book
What do the male Guyver II designs look like!? are they like the modern guyver 2 or are they closer to the original manga version?

The spectrum
We already do this... http://view.thespectrum.net/manga/Guyver/Volume%2027/guyver_v27_013.jpg we've taken quite a few measures to prevent this sort of thing from happening. Ryuki, your idea is very extreme. i think a simpler idea is to make this forum private and close registrations. perhaps introduce an invitation system. so far, no one has touched the recent volumes since i think they just depend on us to release them. if the volumes do not leave this forum, i don't foresee anyone else being that bothered. and if they are, well then i don't see them getting round to it till at least months after we have our version, making theirs pretty redundant for us lot anyway. pruning members who have been inactive for a certain amount of time before privatizing the forum would probably be a good idea too

cleaning manga
those were nice indeed, i think this is pretty much as good as it gets though you could probably get away with filling in some of the blacks too. although then it looks a bit inconsistent with the grays... hmm i'm going to try something in a bit. while we're on this subject, how did you clean up that image of sho and aptom's disguise so quickly ryuki? do you run it through illustrator? or do you do it manually?

Odin's Art Gallery
I really like the effect of the fire's light on the leather. Nice work on that man. What exactly is he reaching out for or doing though? the hands(?) are a bit nondescript.

Guyver January 2013
Awesome, thanks for the translation and typeset guys. Sho sure was polite to Shin, was qutie strange seeing such an intimidating figure speaking so politely. It was a short chapter indeed, but it was certainly 14 pages well spent.

cleaning manga
I think you need to be very careful with cleaning Guyver manga, what with all the halftones and stuff. Igf you overshoot it you lose a lot of the detail. I probably wouldn't take to using the dodge and burn tools on any manga page though, don't want to create highlights and shadows that aren't there.

Guyver January 2013
We're all waiting for a translation as well, don't worry Ryuki, good job! Clever on the imitation guyver colour scheme. i was thinking about whipping up something myself, though it might have to wait until a little later..

'remaster' the 12part OVA?
Hmm just watched it and i think I can see what you mean Ryuki. I'll have another watch later and give my thoughts properly

Unit Guyver Animation Material Art Book
All we can hope is that a generous Guyver fan buys it and shares a couple photos. Thought it has Zerbebuth which is a little weird. I wonder if he was originally slated to have a cameo. I seem to remember seeing an Enzyme in the background of the ship massacre scene

Guyver January 2013
That was awesome!!! I also thought it was a Guyver Zoalord! That was clever stuff, I would've been crapping my pants if I was Shin. I doubt that Aptom can enhance the Guyver with that "cloak". It probably is purely for disguise. Though it does look like it could be an awesome battle form. All those crystals sure make it scary looking. Definitely the best chapter in a while. Thanks Guyver Four, please keep us updated!

'remaster' the 12part OVA?
All i have to say is a repeat of the others, that is seriously awesome work Ryuki.

guyver one mutronics movie book.
Interesting how they tease the potential of a Zoanoid equipping the unit rather than a Zoalord at the end there. And then for them to do exactly that next film! Thanks durendal.

'remaster' the 12part OVA?
Eurgh, I forgot how awful episode 7 looked. I know there were some pretty bad mistakes on colouring bits of the guyver armour too. I would love to see anything you come up with in regards to this Ryuki! That little line test looks miles better than what I now remember the turning head looked like. When I first looked at the screenshot, I thought you grabbed a still from the OVA and just applied a filter on it to smoothen the lines. Like those cheap "HD" ones you see. I assume you were trying to keep the quality of the lines similar to in an actual screenshot but I think you may have overshot it a little..

Spider-Man Reboot
I've never been a diehard Spiderman fan so my opinion is that of someone who watched the original trilogy and this film simply as they are. i personally found it to be very enjoyable. Peter Parker under the guise of Spiderman was actually quite charming, I liked his wise-ass humor. Although I couldn't relate to him as Peter Parker as much as i could when Maguire played him because he was a lot cooler looking. more intelligent, and less just nerdy. but i think it was indeed a very well paced film; pretty exciting scenes with the Lizard Doc i don't know if i liked it more than the other version, i've watched that one more times than i can count because i happen to really like that film too.

What would you do If you had the Guyver unit.
Assuming Chronos is not around trying to cover up the Guyver unit and hurting anyone who comes into contact with it... I would be your friendly neighborhood Guyver! I think it would be fun to be a known vigilante like Spiderman or something. Not a lot the authorities could do to take you down either if they don't like you. Obviously if I'm just dealing with crooks and stuff I wouldn't have to be lethal, so I would be more than suitable to clear up crime
