Gotta agree with Ryuki, the high res ones look great. I would scan them in fairly large so that you can avoid having to size them up from a smaller resolution Good job on getting this stuff to us though man! Great stuff

I google reverse-image searched these and came to a japanese website with a few more pics, including progress ones. very cool. i wasn't sure how to navigate the site though, no idea if maybe a Guyver 3 is hiding somewhere. It looks like only the control medal lights. not sure how useful it would be as a lamp, but sure would look badass on the desk

I just found this (and the jump bloopers (they looked extremely painful haha)) and it looks like it could be the introduction to a longer documentary. I'd love some light shed on this as well! lost unit, could you post the other bits and pieces you've found? like the interviews?

hehe, I've had very juvenile guyver dreams - cheesy stuff like scaring people i don't like by transforming into a Guyver in front of them, or maybe saving someone from an accident on the road or something. i want to say i've had at least one dream where i thought i was reading an actual chapter and something awesome happened, but of course it wasn't a real chapter. if i have had such a dream, i can't remember what happened. i may have written it down because i keep a dream journal, so if i find that particular dream, i'll post it

I've come back to take a look at the costume and I disagree! I'm with Ryuki on the shoulders. I think maybe you should focus more on rounding them off? At the moment your whole costume has more of an anime version of Guyver feel. if you were to reduce their size it would become a little more like the movies. That's not a bad thing, but you already have a whole suit that already looks like the anime version.

so this is now officially the designated "downtime period" that so often divides big events. I presume we'll be getting something interesting next month!

this is really interesting! that file sharing website you used was incredibly slow for a 5MB rar but you've done something pretty cool. I wouldn't mind seeing something like this for relic's point.

I think I prefer the bluey one. Gold one is a bit bright. Maybe if it was a little subdued. But it's a pretty cool idea to not only base it off of purgy, but also improve his battle style with the addition of the whips.

I think i recall Sho using it in a 'clean' manner in the book where he fights the fake Team 5. maybe. edit: nope. well yeah, but he used it on a wall. if anything i think this has brought up how little the sonic buster is actually used. but i know what you mean, dave. I hated the sonic buster in the 2005 anime. it looked really lame. didn't myumelzee and noskov just get blasted away in little blurry cubes? bleh I miss a guyver firing it and cracking a skull with the vibration. prime example would be episode 6 of the OVA when the sd-mode guyver uses it on derzerb. brutal!

What sort of paints did you use? It has a very matte finish compared to most pictures of the models I see. It's quite bold, I like it

Yeah this sudden peace between Sho and Agito is a bit abrupt. I can appreciate that some pretty serious drenn has happened, but I feel as though we have been cheated out of seeing the true conclusion to Sho and Agito's fight. We still don't even know what data was transferred to Agito's control metal. Takaya is quite guilty of just dropping things like this, regardless of whether he gets into it later. At any rate, Takaya's doing some serious foreshadowing of Shizu's death.

You've done up the front page and redone the forum skin, I think a change makes everything feel a little more fresh and could potentially make the community a little more active. It's at least one step in the right direction ryuki.

Wow, that Exceed sketch looks awesome! I would definitely love to see you develop it! I don't know about bubblegum crisis but the other wallpaper also looks interesting. You should work into them man.

I presume that Viz didn't have the gun inscription because the whole image is flopped. Though if i remember right, I think they kept Sho's "Bent" shirt the right way round. I seem to recall pointing it out in another thread around here. Also, I'm not entirely sure i've read this chapter. books 2-5ish are a bit of a grey area for me so i might give them a read so i can keep up with your threads now. though i do remember flipping through my japanese copies and seeing Murakami's puny revolver and being disappointed after watching his Max Factory Zoanoid Buster in the OVA.

He's probably fairly easy to draw. He's certainly not a very "cool"-looking zoanoid. Not nowadays at least. Of the very few designs throughout the guyver manga that look dated, Ramotith certainly stands out. Actually maybe Ramotith IS the only dated design, in my opinion. Not that it looks bad, but if Guyver were created today, Ramotith probably wouldn't look the way it does.

how kind! don't worry about it though dude, i'm not that bothered about them and i'm sure you appreciate them more than i would. i've left the books alone the past couple years, i haven't really had time to do the odd flip through them.

Wow! That was great! Sho sounded so perfect. the voice effects were great and it sounded very modern. I was expecting voices and recording in the style of the original but you all really brought it up to the present. Props on that. My only nitpick in terms of voices was the monotony of Valcuria's. It wasn't until the fight that I really felt engaged by her. And using music from other guyver adaptations was a little strange, but i don't think it detracted from the experience. i do love the other guyver soundtracks. again, great work!!
