It's from the first novel I believe. I definitely have that image in a book somewhere and I believe it is the first novel.<br />I would go check to make sure, but all my guyver manga and stuff is stored in a closet somewhere while i re-do my room.

I think perhaps the only real disappointment is the fact that she isn't an original design or character, right down to the name. That does support your theory of her being just an insert. But like Ryuki said, she is interesting to see! I don't mind her at all.

Yeah, I watched the scene again and it's face looks squid-like. With the vertical mouth it reminds me a bit of Kadan, so maybe these designs were more influential than we might've thought

That purple one actually looks really cool, but definitely not very Zoanoid-like. There's a clear difference between what Takaya designed and what was designed by the OVA team. Including the brown Enzyme, they all seem to have very generic muscular bodies

Didn't he say at some point he regretted killing off Lisker so early? Maybe this is how he'll make up for it. I imagine this flashback lasting several chapters

I would think maybe he's a bit short? But perhaps having him too tall wouldn't work from a gameplay perspective.<br />Anyway, you really are getting good dude!

I'm sure you can find the whole thing on youtube very easily! It's a great watch all the way through. Very touching, considering it's a zero dialogue movie

Anyone here a Daft Punk fan? Their new album is available to stream on iTunes starting from today! http://www.itunes.com/daftpunk I'm a huge Daft Punk fan so I may be a little (read: very) biased but I'm finding it incredible. I'm on my second listen right now. Some of the tracks are so out there and un-Daft Punk (or at least unexpected from what we've come to know). The Giorgio Moroder and Paul Williams collaborative tracks are just amazing - I love lengthy tracks! The Paul Williams track, "Touch", is appropriately enough, very touching. And the album version of Get Lucky is so much more interesting than the single version, including a longer guitar solo from Nile Rodgers. Hopefully I'm not the only one on this board hyped to hell and back over this

Great colouring- looks like something just outta the anime! You did a really fine job with the control medal shine too. Only thing i would suggest is fixing the neck, it's awfully thin!

Oh no, a break next month!? How ever will we cope? I'm guessing that an artificial bio-booster such as Val is the same deal as a proto-type Zoalord from what this chapter shows. Although hopefully Takaya will hold off on killing this Guyver II prematurely again. Thanks a lot for the scanlation guys.

Aw man, I'm pretty disappointed Developments!

Well here's a couple nice questions I can come up with: Were you a fan of Guyver before acting in Dark Hero? What did you think of the first Guyver film? Did its quality make you more confident in your acting in the sequel? Or did it make you nervous about starring in the sequel to a film that was panned? Would you be willing to be involved in a future Guyver film, an acting position or otherwise?

Gelpess was a shape-shifter, so yeah, it was just another form that he took on. I always believed that the representations we had of the Creators were in fact Bio-booster armour control medals. I always thought that when we saw them in book 15 they already had them equipped. this would make sense since it is their "standard armour". That's why I don't think Apollon is the same thing we saw back in book 15. What Larz mentioned is interesting, perhaps what Apollon is wearing could be Uranus battle armour. But then I also question why they would have such a thing and still try to engineer weapons such as humans when this armour is potentially the strongest thing we have seen in the manga.

Hey lost unit, I remember us talking about the DVDs you posted in the first post back on The Guyver Board, and we largely thought that they were bootlegs. Which I thought made sense considering the fact that it only uses elements from the manga for the cover and not the TV series.

Well it's supposed to tie in with the new movie... So I guess we'll all just have to watch it to find out what it is! I hope it isn't just a "Mewthree", but I also don't really know how a new Mewtwo form would work or why it would exist. A new Mew form makes a bit more sense. I dunno how I would feel about him getting a full fledged evolution though

Damn, I forgot how abruptly Takaya dropped that subject. Now I remember what happened - Agito 'gave up' after Sho transformed and Sho must've then passed the data on (mentioning this for my own benefit here). Was this the last sighting of Agito?

I wonder how Shin knows who she is. I thought everyone seemed pretty perplexed as to her identity thus far; I didn't realise anything had changed. Anyway I really like this idea of a truce between Cronos and Sho, and Shin talking amongst the Council about it. Pretty neat stuff

Why destroy them? If you had them shipped to yourself Ryuki, you could always bung them on ebay or something or use them as free giveaways or something to that effect. the book has already been purchased and so the money has gone to where it belongs, so there's nothing ethically wrong with you selling them on for your own profit. I get really irked at the fact that you are willing to destroy them!! There are so many other things that you could do. I have yet to purchase any books through this new method so perhaps my input is not relevant but this is just what i feel reading through this

Does the japan-legend youtube channel still exist?

Wasn't it ADV who stuck that tag of "New face of ultra violence"? I hadn't heard anything of that sort before it began getting released here in the West. So great job to them! Anyway, Ryuki is right, it has been a long time, so that makes me wonder if, if there is any more Guyver anime, will it be a second season of what we already have or a new reboot?
