I thought I was the only one who loved Thancrus! Such a criminally underused character and design. Was gutted when he was the first to die in all media of the Guyver. I'll take pity and give the Branchai Bros an honorable mention since their individual forms look pretty awesome, especially the head part

I thought they did up to volume 10? it's scary how hard it is to find some concrete information about it though. I'm sure there was info about how much they released in the JL wiki but that's down for now.

I'm wondering how Agito got inside the Zoalord body. Gigantic XD has never shown any teleportation abilities have they? Certainly not into another mass no less

I think there's more to him than just being a battery. Each Zoalord was made individually and at separate times, so I doubt when it was time to make Krumegnik a Zoalord, Alkanphel just told him he was gonna be a battery to power some other guy he had already processed

I've used it on other laptops and find it hard to navigate... I assume the start bar can be reverted to Windows 7 style but I don't really like change so I think I'll stick with 7. I deeply regret 'reserving my upgrade' and having to click 'no' whenever it reminds me my free upgrade is ready. hopefully this laptop doesn't crap out on me too soon.

I agree with people seeming out of character - this is a big thing in general for DBZ movies, and so the fact that this series is now based on a movie its permeated its way to TV. I agree with you about Goku, but I think Vegeta was the biggest culprit of this. They seem to have omitted the dance from the tv series but he's still been really goofy.

The opening is really good! I dunno if it can top Cha-la and We Gotta Power but it sure is better than Dragon Soul. I'm enjoying Super too, but am a little frustrated by how slow it's moving. It's silly to have this show follow the same plot as BoG, but take 10x as long to get through it. It's like the movie is Dragon Ball Super Kai. I can't wait for them to finish the BoG arc and get onto some new content and reveal who that fat Beerus guy is

I wonder if maybe Kahn ruined the direction fights in the series will go. The only way to up the stakes is to get bigger and bigger now - almost as though Takaya has made it so that he has to keep outdoing that one battle. I know Kahn was designed (or at least conceived) as far back as Volume 9, but I thought that with the introduction of Guyver 2-F he was gonna bring things back down to earth a little bit. Oh well This new Zoalord combo design is pretty interesting. I wonder if it's a product of Takaya needing to speed up his drawing process since there's never been anything like it in the series so far. I would be heartbroken if it was more detailed at one point, but he then realized how uneconomical it would be to keep drawing both it and Dark Exceed.

Unlicensed or not, I think they look great. It would be a good opportunity for those who can't get their hands on the old SD guyver figure. (which doesn't look as nice as I remembered back in the day)

I'm a bit confused as to why the destruction of a train line seems to prevent the Zoalords from escaping when they have previously shown teleportation abilities, but oh well, I haven't read any Guyver for 3 months and it's picking up which is good. I would think that the rebel Zoalords would be low on Agito's priority list since they could potentially help disrupt what the rest of Cronos are doing to his favour. I was almost hoping that it was Galenos attacking the base. Wonder what he's up to.

Very odd that they gave it enough special treatment to give it a steelbook! looks nice, now hopefully Dark Hero gets similar treatment and comes out in English too.

Well this has certainly been the most interesting chapter in a long time, despite being only about 4 pages of new content. Almost seems like a fan parody strip, which I feel like is something Takaya enjoys doing a lot. I do have to wonder exactly where the games console came from - unless Apollon has been making multiple trips to Silha to get Tetsuro and Mizuki's stuff

I have a huge amount of (maybe morbid?) curiosity for this. I don't have a problem with ScarJo being in it, i'm a bit of a fan of hers, but I do think it will be strange to hear people calling her "Kusanagi". Unless they change her name, which I imagine would never go down well with anyone. I'd also have to disagree on it being "quintessentially Japanese". I think part of the reason why the first film was so successful was because of how accessible it is to people other than anime fans. Some aspects are Japanese and will probably get lost in Westernization, but I think with an open mind this may not turn out TOO bad. But maybe I'll end up eating my words. I probably will.

Also I'm digging the updated outfit design for Vegeta from what I can see of it Got this from Kanzenshuu.com: Earth is now at peace—— but then, the remnants of Freeza’s forces, Sorbet and Tagoma, attack. Their objective is to bring Freeza back from the dead with the Dragon Balls. And so, the worst wish in the history of the universe is granted, and “Fâ€, plotting his revenge against the Saiyans, is revived at last…!! I'm guessing those two guys at the bottom are Sorbet and Tagoma. Good to see the food puns are here to stay!

Well at least Takaya seems to have realized that flashback chapters aren't necessary anymore. If we waited 3 months for a flashback chapter that would just be awful.
