Hi guys, We have been discussing about how debates are handled here and we have decided some guidelines are needed. please note these are not ultra strict guidelines, as you all know, we are usually pretty flexible with these kinds of things. this is what we have drawn up, any questions pease go ahead. these guidelines are liable to change during initial stages of implimentation. I was just thinking about how our idea for life generally includes a certain range of temperatures. then I thought about what if it is easily possible for a kind of life to flourish at much lower temperatures to what we could withstand. and if that life came to our temperature, it would be incinerated. I thought that there are compounds that form a liquid at much lower temperatures than us and so would be able to be as naturally fluid at very low temperature. such a creature living on a planet very far from their sun, like a moon round jupiter, would be just fine, very comfortable there. the water in our bodies would freeze solid, but they would be happy as anything. for…

This may be a topic that has been covered before, but ive been thiking alot about the fear of death and how my own expirience with the fear has changed. So i wanted others opinions on it. Hello there, i've been thinking about this for a while now, if you look at Aptom and his ability to absorb other zoanoids powers, then look how he is evolving with each new power he takes into himself, is it me or does he look more and more like a zoalord! dont forget how he looked when we first met him, just like a Guyver only not as powerfull. my idea is this, the Guyver is a highley adaptable bio wepon, with some powers just like a zoalord, ie gravity control, teleportation ( when the Guyver first appears ) telepathy, ect. now if aptom does eat a zoalord and absorbes it's powers, then i beleve that he will become the Guyver only without a control medal. ie the perfect …

Aptom can take over a being from a simple cell. How does his intelligence transfer over? The human brain is a large organ and surely memory capacity is dependant on size. I know about instincts being genetically programmed such as 'fight or flight' but surely something as complex as a full personality and a lifetime of experiences would be beyond the cells capacity to store, even cells as unique as Aptom. Or am I wrong?

This is something that I've been wondering. We all know that in Sci-Fi a force field and/or barrier of energy is the norm for most super powered beings or battle ships. But I want to know the science behind them. What type of energy actually makes up the field? How does it really work? Can a force field be used to actually deflect a barrage of missiles and energy blasts back at the attacker? Could said force field also absorb the attack as incoming energy ans revert it as an attack on the attacker but in a totally different form of energy? I was rewatching the Guyver tv series and came upon idea when watching the enzyme episode where it kills sho in the forest. After enzyme rips the control metal out of Guyver One the armor begins to overload and devour Sho. It took on a new appearance which has teeth and its body seemed somewhat symmetrical. I haven't read the issue in Manga so I don't know how it looked in the comic. I remember in the 12part OVA where the same thing happened it kind of looked like a mirror image of Sho only deformed. I've gotten an idea for one of my fan fic characters and his battle form. My character Camel is a vampire hybrid that's capable or transforming his body into any battle form that he pleases. But one feature I want him to have is bio-luminescent highlights around his eyes. My inspiration doesn't come so much from nature, as from a technically inanimate object. Many of us refer to the OVA for saying the Guyver feeds off the host for energy, but the VDF that Takaya wrote explains so much of the energy systems as being based on the gravity controller. Is it possible to get an accurate translation of that part of the anime, because it always gets us into a tizzy. Guyot's comment about the host's energy being a limiting factor always throws us off.
