Has this been done before...? The idea for this guy popped into my head during Asian History one day (imagine that). It's no one in particular...just fulfilling my once-a-year original Guyver design. The armor design is based off the Samurai armor from Final Fantasy XI. Enjoy the picture, but please don't nit-pick at me with scientific questions, IE "Why isn't his sword a bio-sword" or "What's his strength capabilities?" You ain't getting an answer. Come up with your own statistics if you will, but don't bother me with them. Please.

Being a huge fan of the Guyver I'm really glad I stumbled across this place!! Here's a character from my fiction I've been working on. Hey all, havent posted in a while and well..got bored i suppose. Anyways, since this is the fanart section i thought it would be the best place to ask an art question...though if it isn't my fullist apologies. So, as the subject says...Details. I suck at it. I'm decent when it comes to doing the basic body (save females ), but when it comes to detail my brain falls apart. I suppose it also has to do with the fact that i have a hard time creating from the mind. Does anyone have any ideas on what i can practice that would help me with such a predicament? Thanks

As we are discussing pics that never made it, let me show you an old design I did for a character concept alongside Crimson, part of my Aceaer collection. The name is Abscondo Aceaer. A design meant to be equivalent to Shadow Guyver, just in Aceaer form. The reason I eventually dumped it, simple. Too simplistic in design. Neat, but not original enough.

I've always wondered would it possible for a W'kar (in w'kar battle armor) to be inpregnated by a transbreed type facehugger (xenomorph), which is the reason why I drawed this http://ultimatewkar.deviantart.com/#/d3ci3qb. Not to long ago bloodstorm did some pics of two characters that represented two halves of his personality. Although it may not have shown I was pretty freaked out by this because I made two very simialer characters representing the two halves of my personalitys, I always thought I was the only one, like the highlander but I guess there's at least one other. After a suggestion from James I've decided to try my hand at zoanoids. Sadly I don't have a plain picture of this particular zoanoid just standing around like in one of Takayas DF's. But I'm doing what I can. While Guyver is still sitting on a long hiatus, I got watching Tekkaman Blade again. And Tekkaman Blade 2. Yeah it's not great, but still has its own charms. Like the Sol Tekkaman armors. I really liked the green and yellow suits that were briefly used in the first episode, and wished they had been used more. I came to an even bigger realization... I had not seen any decent line art of them other than a really crappy small pic. I then also realized that the Sol Tekkaman armors from the Prague incident have no line art that I can find ever. I've been trying desperately to draw guyvers. I used to draw in high school years ago, and haven't drawn since. Does anyone have any tips? Also, someone mentioned their are some good software programs out there for drawing on computers. Just wondering if anyone has heard of any?
