The fifth and final installment in the Phantasm series is coming out this year. Some of the effects may not look to stellar but others look wonderful and as long as it stays to to the spirit of the series with wonderful characters and an interesting story I'll be happy. Really looking forward to this one.

Just saw the news that RDJ is going to be Doom in the 2 avengers movie. What do you guys think about RDJ playing Doom? I for one would prefer they cast an unknown for the role. I mean, I don't hate RDJ, he's actually a very good actor, he really deserves that Oscar. But I see this as a wasted opportunity. Not to mention that RDJ has a hefty price tag. I know that Marvel's casting has always been spot on, but this just doesn't feel right. I feel that this is a big risk to RDJ. He is a big draw for audiences, but if the movie fizzles, that's going to hurt his career more (as if he still needs that with all that money he has).

I finally understand why critics gave this one a low overall score. IMO, easily the worst of the three films. There was far too much going on, nothing was ever really very deeply developed. Like always, the CG was amazing, and SOME of the fights were cool (NOT including the last fight...), but overall I found the movie very lacking. They tried to make you feel for Sandman... but really, not enough time is spent on him, and his case doesn't really mean anything to the viewer ( unlike Doc Ock in #2). And the final scene with him, reminded me of "Absorbing Dad" from The Hulk movie... just far too over the top, and corny if you ask me. Although Thomas Haden Church sure loo…

I was kind of disappointed with the bonus feature of the dvd I would have liked to have seen deleted sceens, and maybe a teaser of Van hellsing 2. However this did not happen!

hi there. im new to the site so firstly hello, secondly just want ask doe sanyone know of any websites that sell the guyver films and/or the guyver anime? i have looked on the internet but loads do not ship to the u.k. and im am just unsure which series to buy of the guyver anime ones, theres so many different types out, im not sure which follow on from which (want to make sure i get the right ones that follow on) help would be much appreciated in this matter many thanks nico

So what are everybody's thoughts on this system? I'm definitely intrigued myself, but I'm concerned that it won't have the hardware specs that third parties are looking. Plus the battery life on the portable screen is key. I love the fact that cartridges are coming back, and I wonder what the cases will look like. And I do like the emphasis on local multiplayer/couch co-op. Now I hope this list of third party supporters stay this big(or get bigger) throughout the console's lifetime. hello all. It is with a heavy heart that I wish to tell you all of the sad passing of our long time member and friend Toku Warrior / Hyperguyver. Hyperguyver joined us all here way back in the early 00's and was a stalwart among us here. He took part in many conversations with us here, contributed art and writing and design work. Those of us who have been around that long will remember him fondly. He unfortunately took ill with Covid back in October. he fought as hard as he could and it seemed like he was making a full recovery. unfortunately, he then took a turn for the worse and departed on the 26th October 2021.
