Thought you guys would like this. My first exposure to the Guyver was through the first live action film, which I adored. When I came across this magazine called Wild Cartoon Kingdom in 1993, I immediately froze. There was a cartoon Guyver on the cover! Whaaat? Needless to say I was stunned to find out that the film was based on a Japanese comic book and already had its own cartoon which was being brought to America. It was also the first time I learned that there was going to be a sequel to the live action film, and I was ecstatic. Can't tell you how many times I read this article, and drooled over the pictures. When the host of the guyver unit dies a sudden death in battle, the unit is lost. I think we're all agreed on this fact, judging by previous posts. But what if the host were to die of old age? I think we touched on disease in a previous post and that it's believed that it would heal/prevent illnesses. But every creature dies a natural death eventually. What are your thoughts on the matter?

Just something that came to mind while marathoning My Hero Academia: Since Zoacrystals store a Zoalord's power, can they store some of that power into other crystals like quartz? Like a back up battery so they don't drain their main crystal first and be left with a "oh crap" moment. I honestly don't know why this popped into my head while watching a super hero anime, but I'd figured it'd be worth asking the community and see if it's possible.

So I was on a manga viewer site since batoto died and the vault is gone, I was reading vol 10 61 to vol 11 63. Aptom just apears in chapter 63 fixing his leg that must of blown off while in the last chapter he wasnt in it at all. Was this Guyver Advocacy only releasing half of 62 because he wasnt in that chapter at all and now, Murakami zoalord is saying he was going to let him live, but cant because he saved the Guyvers. This is implying to me he was in the last chapter and got rekt by the zoalord and lost a leg. Please send help I am very confused, apreciate it if you can help guys.

So I've been a fan for a long time and have read most of the manga up to book 30, now from what I understand is this was the place to go to get the translations if you bought the Japanese books. Now my question is, is this still active? if I buy the Japanese books can I still get the translations? Or has everyone moved on because from what I've seen there hasn't been any new chapters in a long time.

Hi all, Guyver fan for a very longer time here. Still have all of the old OVA's on VHS from when I was 12. Just a quick question. I read the all of the manga or what was around of the manga online in 2015/16. I've been watching and researching various other TV shows and films and such, and I've become interested in how certain crossovers would be like. In the past, I've mentioned Guyver and Twilight. However, how would characters from Guyver get on at Hollywood Arts? Or deal with computer hackers like in Eye Candy? Granted, Victorious and Eye Candy both star the chick who's in my avatar. And yes, I know that Victorious is a kid friendly teen/family sitcom and Eye Candy doesn't exactly deal with monstrous creatures. But how would such a crossover work in you guys' minds and what's your opinions on such things?

If the host is dying or suffering from an illness before the unit attaches itself to them. Is it possible that the Guyver cells would cure and make the host healthy again? For example if you have HIV or Cancer.

Hi All, As going to Japan takes a bit of planning putting this out there that I'll be going to Japan's Wonder Fest in 2026. As Wonder Fest is an event like no other and tends to have extremely rare kits from Guyver and other Animes I love (Macross!!), and other important stuff to fans tends to happen there if any like minded people want to go and have a meet up you're more than welcome. The event is usually mid Feb and in Chiba City https://en.japantravel.com/places/chiba/makuhari-messe/45 Dates etc still to be confirmed.

The Guyver parts do look neat, as they are robotic in nature, not just straight design copied over... But about 80% if the figure is just their standard "Gale Hound" base figure (Head, chest and parts to add arm blades). It's a pretty lazy collaberation... One I probably won't be taking part in. It's more like a "character" in the Titanomakia universe of story are fans of Guyver and customized their suits that way.

So, I've been poking around YouTube lately looking for broadcasts from the Sci-Fi Channel (no, I will not use the current name, TYVM). One thing I've been looking for are promos from when the channel aired the live-action Guyver films. Lo and behold, I found something! Skip to the 3:04 mark, and you'll find them there!

So in the two live action films, it's shown that the Guyver armor is stored in the body. You see the tendrils come through the receivers on Sean's neck several times. I've always noticed this, but wondered why. Does anyone know, or at least suspect why? Was it simply an artistic liberty, or perhaps done for budgetary reasons? Since I'm sure trying the flashy transformation sequence from the anime would be too costly.

So, there's the "Pillars of Heaven", "Cloud Gate", the "Arizona Base", and the "Dead Sea Plant"; and I've got the "Genesis Tower" in my fanfics. Does anyone else have some ideas about what to name Chronos' various bases?

I did a forum search, and surprisingly couldn't find any topics on this... Chuang Yi Publishing tells me they'll only sell to addresses in Singapore... So where else can we buy them in English?

Now something just popped in my head relating to the Gigantic. What do you suppose would happen if there was such an enemy that could rip the gigantic's control medal out of Sho's or Agito's head? What do you suppose would happen? The Gigantic armor go into melt down or would it just retreat to its chrysilis or would it severe Sho or Agitos link to their Gigantic armor?
