just thought about this the other night and would love to know, since its been some time now that the new guyver figure has been released is that how many of the new G1 figures were sold? anyone have any idea?

We still don't really know just how Zoanoids are named. Presumably the scientists decide on a name, either individually as a sort of recognition if they were mainly responsible for some new type, or as a committee; or maybe it's the Zoalords' privilege. Thing is, most names don't seem to make much sense. Even in Japanese. So... how would you name Zoanoid types if they had to have English, somewhat descriptive names - ie, supervillain names, kind of 90's style? So. Is the petition over due or just plain useless now? Kind of wondering if we could use it now to our benefit or if it has any credibility. We all signed off on it. Just wondering if we're going to do anything with it someday...or if it no longer matters.

So it seems, someone else has decided to start translating the Manga. And since the Advocacy volumes were available freely up to volume 30, that is where they have started. Hey guys, I'm new to the collecting figures and I'm wondering what there actually is out there. I have an old murakami bfc-18 and an aptom bfc max 02. I've seen a few elfin casts on ebay, are they recasts of the bio fighters collection?. I've had a look online and can't really find any lists. Ok this has been a idea thats been knocking around in my head for a long time so I've decided to throw it out there and see what people think. I've held of from doing this for a while because I never liked the idea of "upgrading" the guyver until we see the series finish one way or another because I want to see what its fully capable of before corrupting it with my own ideas. I've been getting back into the Guyver story and got book 25 from Amazon JP last night. Today while doing some read up I've found something interesting. In Chapter 164 there is now a Guyver 4. She's female and looks very much like the Guyver 2 from the OVA. Interesting times ahead then.

In the OVA continuity, it's established that Guyvers can telepathically communicate with each other via the organisms on their back. Is this a thing in the manga? I can't remember.

Who is your favorite Guyver? I honestly have always liked Sho and Agito. I didn't care for the rest of the others because Guyver 0 was primitive and went nuts with the Guyver. Guyver 2 was just a bastard in general. and Guyver 2F....well, I'm not entirely sure what to think of her. She's cool I guess. But she's not on my favorites list. She still has to prove herself!

While I was rereading book 15 the question just poped into my head. Did he consciously choose to attack or did he simply lash out on instinct. Was he a primitive human going on a rampage beause he was given power beyond his understanding, a guyver in self-defence mode, a slave freed from his shackles or a child demanding attenchan and respect from an indifferent parent? What do you think?

So what are all the story arcs within the story? Like the Mt. Minikami arc for example. Speaking of which, does that include the first portion of the story too? With Genzo, Guyver II and so on, before Sho arrived at Mt. Minikami?

Hi everyone, I would like to know what was your first reaction when you saw Guyver for the first time. How old where you? was it a video or comic book did you first see about Guyver? How did you find out about Guyver, what made you love Guyver? etc. For me it was 18 years ago I was 9 years old. So did Waferdanos have three forms? We saw his "human form" after he had the Zoacrystal implanted into his skull. Then we saw his plant king like form when he removed it. Waferdanos being a completely different creature and older than Archanfel. Yet, did he have a Zoalord form? Was he reoptimized to have one? Or was his "Zoalord form" when he grew out his beard and it was super long? I thought that was still his human form and was only using some of his attacks while in that form. I'm not sure about this, and not sure if Takaya ever spoke on the matter.

So I am ashamed to admit that I still do not understand the difference in both appearance and method of creation of the gravity bullets from Richard, in the anime. When we first see them they appear to be like miniature pressure cannons, created within the palm of his hand. We see a green energy aura around his hand (my guess being the aura showing the audience the various level of power: green = Proto-Zoalord power level Aptom was seen with a green aura later as well, gold = Zoalord power level, blue = Gigantic etc). Yet later on, we see Richard fire red energy like attacks from the crystal substance on his hand, which appears to be energy beams. Yet, he calls them …

I wonder how huge and devastating of a fight would go with Guyver Gigantic against Thor. We know Thor is the son of Odin and has fought enemies stronger in Marvel comics. I think Thor would rival that fight with Imakarum. There'd be a lot destruction and I'm sure the Guyver Gigantic would take a lot of damage like the fight with Friedrick Purgstal ( Thor is stronger than Friedrick...both energy and physically as the pagan Thunder God.) but it would be a very interesting battle that I would like to see.

So, why won't it? Is his body just too advance or too complicated for optimization to fully heal him? I know he slept in that pod for millions of years and still has a brain disorder where he sleeps for ages. Than I thought. Maybe the optimization tanks that Chronos has are more advanced and that Barcas nor any other scientist have ever diagnosed Alkanphel's condition. Only Barcas has theories or speculations although it is summarized that Alkanphel was critically injured by the creators when he was saving Earth and himself. Optimization tanks can heal zoanoids of most types. But why not Alkanphel?
