I been currese about this for some time, how big an impact has Guvyer had (I'm willing to be more than it ever gets credit for) and how many parodies, ripoffs, homages of inspired bys are their out their. Even odd things that could just be coincidence.

 

Guyver itself was inspired by a lot of things such as Super Sentai, Alien (it even beat the Alien franchise to the punch on ancient aliens) and other manga like Baoh and possibly to some degree Devilman (the two series have a lot in common).

 

So off the top of my head......

Don't forget about Guyferd.

The creator has stated The Guyver definitely inspired him.

hmm I have never heard of Guyferd befor. Any good?

There is also DC Universe Online that has a Biomech style set that resembles a Guyver Zoalord.  DC even admited to it being an homage to the Guyver.
