Guyver

Thats the question I hear alot nowadays from many a Guyver fan. So many other series, and shows, and comics have gone through the "rebirthing" process recently, I can definitely see the Guyver following that trend. Ninja Turtles, Transformers, and Battle of the Planets (G-Force to some) are just a few of many that have resurfaced, and gained new cult following along with long-time fans. Guyver is a good, no great canidate for such a thing. It, even after 10 or more years has fans craving for it. Such evidence can be seen in this now, with companies like Max Factory STILL making toys/models from it. So I ask WG.com, we will see our beloved Guyver anytime soon? Not a re-rel…

Younger Brother I showed my younger brother, Jeramee, The Guyver (anime) and he thought it was pretty cool. My Buddy, Winston My Buddy Winston (the one who will translate the Visual Datafiles art book and chinese manga) is a guyver fan now. I showed him the anime, well he borrowed the dvds. I let him borrow vol. 1-7 of the Viz books and vol. 8-12 (not sure ) of the tankoubons. I recently let him borrow the Guyver: Dark Hero dvd and he said the ending fight between Guyver US and Guyver Zoanoid was one of the best fights he has ever seen! Is it possible Viz still has the rights to Guyver? Or would they need to re-license it just like they did with Fist of the North Star? I remember reading the Viz scans and the last one said something like: “Guyver is going on a hiatus. We’ll see you in the funny papers!” which was awkward especially since they never returned to it. I’ve tried to inquire to Viz about the manga and one time they answered. They said more or less they want to expand their library but it would take time. I tried again they re-licensed Fist of the North Star but they didn’t respond this time. I hope one day this manga will be in print in English again.

Finally got some shelf holders to compensate for the size of the Sanken Gigantic figures, so now I have a shelf to put my newer BFC figures.

thought i would have a go at cleaning manga took tips off loads of videos and sites even used topaz in photoshop maybe i could clean up the chapters if they get too bad.

I was looking at the above picture today when it suddenly struck me what a stupid battle design this was. I mean it looks awesome and it's Aptom so it's cool but he can't lift his arms up! If he does he will impale his shoulders on his own spikes. Even if they are angled forward at the best he'll still be rubbing against them. I don't see any point in having retractable spikes and to be honest the point of having spikes there is rather odd anyway. Not many attacks come in from between the shoulder and the head! Has anyone else noticed anything similarly silly in guyver?

Hey Guys, Perhaps I should have been more vocal about it but you need to know that GuyverAlpha has done a great deal of work in re-typesetting our volume 8 and part of volume 9. why not take a look at what he has done for us and give some thanks for the work he has done I personally really appreciate all he has done. it is a huge job typesetting. I think many people who read manga don't realise how much work it actually takes blanking out and placing the text just right. obviously any of us who works on this, we do it because we love guyver, but I would like to say that props go a log way towards motivation and making it easier to get it done

Lets say Aptom were to become bio-boosted and then loose the controle metal. Could Aptom fend off the Guyver parasite when it returns to it's original form? Would Aptom be able to absorb the bio-booster creature since it is freed from the protection of the control metal? If Aptom were to absorb the parasite what potential properties would he inherit?

Wikipedia article on Bio-Booster Armor Guyver says that since 2009 its been published in Monthly Young Ace, which is a hybrid Shonen/Seinen mag. Yet, all reliable sources say that Guyver has been continuously published in Monthly Shonen Ace since 2002. I know that for a while there was a debate on Wikipedia as to whether or not Guyver is a shonen manga or a shonen/seinen hybrid, like Evangelon and the last two arcs of Jo Jo's Bizarre Adventure became. So does anyone know if Wikipedia's edit on where Guyver chapters are published is right or wrong? I believe based on dedicated manga sources that Guyver is to date published in Shonen Ace monthly.

So we have all had our new guyver figma's and had chance to try them out. Whats your verdict , do you prefer the old figure or new one. Do you like the muddy colors of the new figure ? Do you think the movable joints are stronger? Overall quality ? Who know in years to come will they be rare and pricey which figure will hold the most value. Hey guys! I apologize if this question has already been asked, but I am in the middle of watching the second Guyver movie and I've made an interesting observation. Basically when Sean first arrives to the dig site and starts exploring and seeing all the different cave drawings and comes to the drawing of the Guyvers, I noticed something. In Sean's drawing there are only three Guyvers depicted, but on the cave wall there are four and I started thinking what if this isn't forced perspective where all the Guyvers are the same height, but rather an actual height chart that depicts: In the bottom left the smallest figure is somewhat of a Muave color and I think…

I can't seem to find an episode where Murakami explains to everyone how come he's a Zoalord. I'm sure I recall him telling about the other prototypes, and I'm sure it was't in the OVA. Anyone?

So it's pretty much impossible for a Guyver video game to be made, I'd consider one ever happening breaking a law of physics. But that doesn't mean we can't play around with the idea right? So which developer would you want to handle this? What type of genre would you want? Me, I think Platinum Games (Bayonneta and Metal Gear Revengeance) could do a hell of a job. They are proficient at making epic action games, and can do gore just as good, two things Guyver is known for. So to me, a Guyver game would be a 3rd person hack n slah game, definitely rated M. Hello guys. Long time no see. I stopped reading the manga around the time Guyot returned (and the whole Appolyon thing). Last time i checked there was a new policy regarding reading / obtaining the manga. Do you guys still work on it? Do you like latest chapters or has the manga lost its "magic" ?

To me the OVA Guyver 1 vs Enzyme 1 fight is the most brutal, violent, hardcore, horrifying, bloody fight that I ever seen. It used to give me the creeps when I was young. I also once showed that episode to my younger brother who is not really interested in Anime and Guyver but, he liked Guyver after watching a few episodes of the OVA version back in the day. About 15 years ago I showed that fight to my younger brother and he was frightened. Reasons why I really like this fight and think it's the most brutal figth ever. First the transformation of Enzyme was scary as smegg. Second the look of Enzyme is just scary with that face it's just horror. Third Enzyme was not traine…
