  1. Considering how they are trying to keep close ties with the first 3 X-Men movies, any new characters that would appear, would need to not have had a cameo/part unless the movie timeline fit somewhat. Doesn't stop them from pulling characters that haven't yet appeared, out of random comic continuity though ( ie Havok), and that is still a VERY huge list.
  2. A bust and head shot of Ultimus, up close and in greater detail. One of the issues I've always had, was Ultimus head design. When he was first designed, the head was really tiny, and the details were really poorly done. My "GuyverC Generations" pic added some details... but I wasn't satisfied with it. However, my chibi Ultimus picture came after this, so there is a good reason why it looks more similar to this pic, than the older ones. I had finished the line art for this image years and years ago... I had also started coloring it, but I believe due to a hard drive crash, I lost the original file. Was looking through some old artwork today, and found the original line art... So I rescanned it, and threw some color onto it... really, really, really lazily.
  3. I have to say, I really liked the movie, and really, how they tried to tie it to the existing movies was pretty well done. There were a few things that didn't mesh with the continuity, but considering how good this movie was, I'd like this continuity to continue. AND, most importantly, that you can make a good X-Men movie, without Wolverine, About the only thing I didn't like was how they handled Havoks powers ( as he is one of my favorite Marvel Characters)... But after seeing how it all worked... I kind of gave up on complaining about that one. Here's to hoping for a sequel that actually uses these characters. What I'd really love is a trilogy that ends with moving into the first X-Men movie... Yes, kinda like Star Wars.
  4. Paying $100+ for the figures nowadays is very very common. There is a few points to be aware of: 1. These started getting released around the time the new TV series was being aired. Some figures are already 5 years or more old. 2. Max Factory figures are already more expensive than other companies. The price range of the figures as they were released was something like $70-150 depending on the size of the figure. 3. They were limited production. Not in the terms of individually numbered figures, but once a figure was done being made, they stopped making them. The only 2 figures that had more made, were Guyver 3 ( glow in the dark blade gone, new materials) and the Guyver 1 1.5 version, with the extra head and hand to do the open mask pose. Trying to buy the figures now, means that they are no longer in production, and very limited. Thus, you are lucky if you can just find them. Worrying about the price comes later, after you figure out how badly you want them, or not.
  5. Yeah, I'm thinking of scheduling a regular "Doodle" Night as well as anytime I am working on a pic. Maybe Saturday or Sunday evenings... The only reason I say I will post here when I start drawing, is that inspiration can hit me at random times, and cannot be scheduled.
  6. Normally, yes, Livestream is all about webcams. The way I did this though, you don't need a webcam at all... Just need to download "ManyCam" (freeware) and set it to Desktop. Once you do, you can choose how much of the desktop people see ect... When you start up the Livestream Webhost, choose "ManyCam" as the source, and it'll only show what you told it to show of your desktop. Too keep it running you need to just minimize it. Closing it does put it in the tast bar, but deactivated, No actual webcam needed at all... Despite that being the normal way of using the site. ManyCam even lets you play music and movies for people who visit... All under the guise that it's "using your webcam" which ManyCam tricks it into thinking. I only had it set to the working area of Photoshop ( leaving out the tool bars, as well as the task bar at the bottom of the screen). Everyone basically see's what you see, within that area. warriorguyver.com has all the fanfics on him... Some are so old I wouldn't share them if they weren't already online. Basically though, in our fics, there is a more powerful Unit-G called the Warrior Unit... Using the newer scale of powers learned from the translations and such, it's almost as powerful as a Gigantic, but in compact form. The above character was originally a normal Guyver, who had his Control Medal damaged, but not destroyed. It was repaired by a alien device and upgraded into a Warrior class unit (thus the Pyramid shaped control medal and extra gravity orbs on the chest like the gigantic). http://guyverc.deviantart.com/art/GuyverC-Generations-Complete-14861862 A bit of a look at him in the 3 forms he's been in over the years...
  7. It certainly is a neat idea, and I am at least glad it worked, since you were able to see it working I did end up closing it down a bit earlier than I wanted, but still finished the pic moments after... However not going to get to finishing the second goal in that session. Oh well! Here's the finished product!
  8. Thanks for watching! Sadly, all I could see was that there was one person watching, but I am glad it was someone who would enjoy it! I did end up closing it down a bit earlier than I wanted, but still finished the pic moments after... However not going to get to finishing the second goal in that session. Oh well! 9. Come one, come all! For I, have created a Livestream account! ...What may you ask is Livestream? Basically, just a simple site for people to share web cam blogs or a place for an account holder to hold their own show, or stream movies and such. What purpose does it serve me? Well, if you come to my Livestream page while I am online, you will get to chat with me and watch as I draw! The feed will be a direct link to what is happening on my monitor. Sometimes I will have a subject already in progress, other times I will be doodling, of at which time I might just doodle on request! Why am I doing this? Basically, it's all about motivation. Sometimes I find it hard to really sit down and get to work, other times something just doesn't feel right about a pic and I never bother to finish. However, as I have found in the past, chatting with people as I draw tends to make it more fun, and the more fun it is, the more motivated I am. So come on in! I will be making a fresh post every time I plan to go online, which will be followed by a post with whatever I end up drawing that session. http://www.livestream.com/guyverc You will NOT need to sign up to Livestream to watch! You do NOT have to sign up to chat either, but you do have to enter a user name. -------------------- Start Time: 10 minutes or so from the time of this post! Primary Topic: New Image for Warrior GuyverC! Already scanned and working on line art, with colors and shading to come! Secondary Topic: Tajador! Kamen Rider OOO's Chibi!

  11. Thanks! My Deviantart account is one little place that I have kind of kept secret from this place... But for a simple, yet evil reason... I've posted a few pics that are characters that will actually appear later in the stories... But some of which haven't even been hinted at yet. So if people went looking and found them, they could almost have a "OMGWTF" moment... And wonder exactly who or what said character could possibly be. Like this one: *Edit* Holy crap... That was done over 7 years ago... Daaaamn...

  14. More like 4... Seems like he's a little shocked about them... But still seems to be playing around a bit, getting a feel for them... As we know, he's got plenty of tricks up his sleeves
  15. Started out as pencil(4H) on paper, followed by scanning, and being put into Photoshop CS2 ( kind of old, but I see no real reason to upgrade as of yet). Instead of inking with an actual pen, this time I did it all digitally in Photoshop. Easier to fix mistakes, or make changes if need be. Thanks for your imput everybody! We figured this would be the best way to determine his colors... Especially since he's an actual character from the manga, and not a pure fan-fiction character.
  16. Hahaha... There is no Sean. The Sean is a lie! I am sure if Sean could take commissions he might... Considering he was a bit of a doodler in Dark Hero... Seriously though, what Brian meant to say, is that the pic is of Sean Barker's, Guyver US's new Warrior Guyver armor. Originally drawn by me, and colored/detailed by Brian. Likewise with the Female Guyver using the Aceaer. As for Sho's new armor, you might want to check out the following link... viewtopic.php?f=29&t=4547

  18. lol The Sinanju is a far better MS than the Sazabi/Nightengale... Except the lack of Funnels. But they could always add them.
  19. Currently watching Super Robot Wars OG: The Inspector, Star Driver and although it is not Anime, Sym-Biotic Titan. I gave the Iron Man Anime adaption a chance, and I really can't stand it. Pi ked up a few series on DVD/Blu-Ray recently, but have been playing too many videogames the last while to really watch a lot of them. They are, Sengoku Basara on Blu Ray, Heroic Age on DVD, and the first two sets of FMA Brotherhood on DVD.
  20. Same basic colors as Alkanphel?
  21. I've always found the movies to be the perfect extension of a shonen series like Bleach, One Piece and Naruto. The movies all usually have the same premise as a complete story arc. They take an idea for a story arc that could run 20+ episodes, and condense everything into a movie running time. Now, I've been on record as saying I hate filler arcs. However, if you compress an entire arc into a movie running time, I like that a LOT better, as it usually skips all the stupid boring, out of character crap that can be added, in favor of a quicker plot and getting right to the important stuff (Drama, fighting etc... ). The ONLY problem that can arise, is if you don't know the main characters of the TV show, or aren't up to date with said show ( and thus character power ups etc... ). You may get a little lost, but can probably still enjoy it. But they all tend to stick to the basic plot: - Introduction of main characters/reminder of who they are - Introduce Movie Central characters - Small fight where nothing is won, but maybe lost. - Plot/Training/traveling to where baddie is/for big fight - Big fight - Ending It actually fits most Shonen movies pretty well ( Especially Bleach, One Piece and Naruto's movies ), and if you look at it, it's also the same basic premise for a story arc in each of those series too ( not just the fillers either). But that works. You get to see the main character(s) whip out their big badass moves without having to wait many weeks of episodes to see each one, and you usually get a nice, quick story, despite not being canon, out of loved characters. I can actually say that I like some of the movies plots more than some of the official plots ( and definitely more than a lot of the filler.) That and the movies always look freakin fantastic, with no cheaping out on the animation budget.
  22. You actually had an actual pencil!?! And what is this "PA-per" stuff of which you speak? *looks over at his concrete slab and sharp rock* Ahhh... Those were the days... *Suddenly feels old* *Realizes Brian and James are older, and feels slightly better*
