  1. Zeronos? Who's that? All I care for is having another figure of Deneb!
  2. 2 new scans with some action poses of the new Gundams and GN-X's Gotta say, so far I still don't like Cherudim or Seravee that much... But Arios's transformation looks pretty damn slick. Looks like Gundam 00 might still have 7 swords... those additions to the shoulder pieces look like they could be swords or Shield swords in disguise. Where the 7th sword could come from, who knows. And YES, that is a Gundam head on Seravee's back. What does it mean? Nothing good... there has only been 1 Gundam gattai, and that was the Grand Master Gundam from G Gundam... and it was pretty hideous... I hope to god they are not attempting a Gundam Gattai... The GN-XIII's are pretty much what we saw at the end of episode 25... with color differences ( Probably just like how Graham's uniform changes colors from the prievew in 25, to the new previews we've seen), but still look pretty good. I don't really like the Code Geass inspired lances though... The "Ahead" definately looks awkward... but pretty badass at the same time ( espeically since we saw a bit of it in action in one of the previews). It seems like this is the next step in Tieren design, rather than staying with the designs used by the GN-X's. I wonder if we will see a true GN-Flag this time around, rather than the quick job that it was in season 1 ( but I still loved it )
  3. In case people haven;t seen the poor handcam'd version of this yet: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-T7ELrTDmWk Shows a bit more of what a couple of the main cast are up to right at the begining of season 2. Damaged Exia, with a cloak? A modified Red GN-X? Allelujah captured? Gundam 00 launching!
  4. James is actually not the one handling the Chronicles story. He role in it has been the same as his role in all our fics ( though "Editor" doesn't really do what he does justice) Chronicles is writen by Micheal Cox. Which I note was in my list of people, and has been absent for quite a while too.
  5. Well, here's the thing. This fan fiction required the team members to have regular group chat sessions to keep things running. Brian - Once again missing in action. He swore he was going to come back and work on the fic some more... but that lasted like all of a week. James - Only really active member... but was never a main fic writer. He could continue Brians works pretty easily as he had heavy influence over the years. Andre - Sometimes pops online but real life and family has claimed him. Allen - Offline once again after a brief period of being active. Mike - I assume real life has claimed him as well. Myself - My interest has been waining for years as Guyver has dragged on with nothing new, and the fic starting to go in directions I was starting to become less comfortable with. The 2005 series was great, but it made me realize how far we've gotten from the original content. The newer manga chapters have kinda turned for the worst too... I still love Guyver, but I don't love Warrior Guyver the way I used to. I actually wrote a rant on this on my Deviant Art page which i will repost here for those who don't visit it. But, the entire staff of the site has fallen apart. The only person I still talk to online is James, and due to our schedules, is not that often. As for handing off the stories to someone else... I totally refuse to do that for mine. I mean, it wouldn't be like someone using a Warrior unit in their own fic, it be using my characters, who only I know exactly how they would react in certain situations. And honestly, due to poor writing in the past, some aren't as fully fleshed out as they should have been by now ( when I do the summery, these will be included). I'll try to get it out this weekend, but no promises... stuff seems to have piled up while i was away, and I've got a lot to worry about here. And now for the rant: I just had some random person on MSN contact me about Guyver. Now, I love Guyver, don't get me wrong. I love to have good discussions about Guyver, or answer peoples questions that they may have. But the reason they contacted me, was to tell me about their new Guyver they created, which in turn happened to be a mish-mash of wg.com fanfiction stuff, cobbled together into something that doesn't make much sense at all. And it really occurred to me that, we at WarriorGuyver.com, have RUINED Guyver fan creations. Our distortion of power, making more and more powerful beings. Making up/evolving technology to make said beings even more powerful... the list goes on. In retrospect, over the years as we created this stuff, everything sounded real good. A lot of things we tried to base on real theories ( we even nailed the fact that the orb at their waste is the main producer of energy via a link to hyperspace, when that wasn't translated for years to come). But now, almost everyone tries to use our created technology for their custom/fanfic ideas, instead of using the actual Manga or Anime as a basis. And I wish it would just stop, because they are getting more and more overboard, and it's seeming that they want to have their Guyver in our Universe... but be more powerful than anything we have. It's like a DragonBall Z power fight. We create something more powerful, now everyone else decides that they have to top it. Sure, it probably says a lot about our former and current popularity... which is actually pretty staggering. And really... fanfic writers have always been exaggerating things in custom character for decades... But it kinda makes me wonder if this is how Yoshiki Takaya feels about our site, and what we have done to Guyver fandom. And honestly, I would apologize to him if I had the chance.
  6. Gah... sorry everybody, been really busy with work, moving, preparing for Otakon, and going to Otakon ( still here actually). I'm pretty much at the point where I am about to reveal what was going to happen in the future... as honestly, especially after having a table in this years artist alley, I want to focus on my art a bit more... and I don't know if I will ever write for the fic again. It's been a long time coming I suppose. I'll have to confer with James about things before I do anything, so that I don't spoil things that aren't mine to spoil...
  7. Meh... crap designs are still crap designs. They look like some amature fanart of the Season 1 designs. Seed Destiny's plot was crap because of the director and his way of listening to the "fans". I have hopes that the plot of Season 2 will save the horrible mecha designs... but they are pretty inexcusable. I've watched EVERY Gundam Animation that there is, and while this isn't the biggest insult I've seen... it certainly is a slap in the face to fans of the original mecha designs. I mean, you look at the 00 Gundam. It seems to fit with the mecha designs that we've seen thus far. But the other 3 new ones have hard edges, and flat designs. They don't seem to fit the general theme of the Gundam designs, and look really out of place. And for those who mentioned... the "Rumor" I previously stated, yeah I know about it being his twin brother... thus why I called it LAME. Lockon Stratos/Neil Dylandy was a great character. Killing him off was sad, but they did. I would wish that they didn't dishonor the said sacrifice in such a bad way. I'm still going to watch Season 2 with a very open mind. Season 1 was great, and from what I have read about the plot, it seems it may continue in that direction. But as an artist and model builder... the Season 2 Gundams are inferior in aesthetics to the original 4.
  8. Personally, so far, I don't like much of what I have seen. Gundams - Gundam 00 - I kinda like it... but only because it looks like a retro fitted Exia. It's 2 "Gun Blades" that we've seen I don't like though. They are just plain ugly. "Kyrios MkII" - Doesn't look too bad. An over simplified version of the first Kyrios... but not the worst design out there. Still like Kyrios better. "Dynames MkII" - Crap. Dynames was a cool design, and this is an over simplified crap version of it. "Virtue MkII" - Again, same deal with "Dynames MkII". Looks horrible. Pilots - All 4 seem to return... including Lockon? I know what the rumors are, but seriously, LAME. At least Setsuna looks a bit older. I'm shaking my head in disgust here... I really liked the first season... but Season 2 isn't starting off very well... and it hasn't even aired.
  9. While I loved TDK... it not a "Popcorn" movie that I would go re-watch multiple times. In saying that, it was still a really good movie. But, unlike other comic book movies and such, there is no scene in the movie that I really want to rewatch over and over again. I've rewatched Iron Man completely like 5 times, and rewatched memorable scenes a good hundred times or so. I tend to do this with a lot of movies and Anime. But the Dark Knight has no scenes that really want me to go back to it. And yes, the Jokers magic trick was just so bloody hilarious... one that we'll hopfully never see in real life...
  10. Gundam Seed was 50 episodes, while Gundam Seed Destiny was 50 as well, with 2 specials. And both Seed series had 4 openings each ( technically Destiny did have 5. Since the Final Plus ep had a different opening). Gundam Seed was a one season show at 50 episodes. Gundam 00 will be a 2 season series at 26 episodes each. The difference here is that normally an average "Anime Season" is one half of the year, usually 26 episodes. However, in the past a lot of series go longer, and go for the 50-52 episode run, with no break between episodes. These are still considered a single season. Especially since most of then do not have cliffhangers at the end of ep 26. There was no break between playing the episodes of Gundam Seed, or "mid season break" like what Gundam 00 or Code Geass are doing. There was a 1 Year break between Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny however. But naturally they are considered seperate seasons. And if you look at the titles, naturally being a sequel series, it was only modified from the original. But it was changed.
  11. It took me long enough to get it off my old external HD. But Drag has it now, and should be looking it over soon...
  12. Huh... dunno what that may have been. Has it happened before/since?
  13. August 8-10, at the Baltimore convention center.
  14. Well done. I really did not see that one coming at all.
  15. The 6 month wait is all due to marketing. It's 6 months where they can catch up on merchandise like Model kits, character figures, DVDs, ect... but then not have stuff really go stale because Season 2 will start up, keeping the first season still in peoples minds. They saw how badly having a show can end can effect the merchandising of it. Gundam Seed attempted to continue it's merchandise well after it was over... and it worked... for a while. But it died off probably a good 6-8 months after. Destiny kind of helped, but all in all, the merchandising for Gundam Seed was dead, and Destiny took over. This time they are playing it smarter... and sure, we get a break from it, even though we don't want it... but it's not like we are not left with other things to watch.
  16. Once again, I will be attending Otakon. But this year, I'll leave plenty of advance warning for those of you who may also be attending. Exact details of where my Artist Alley table will be is still uncertain as registration for them has yet to open. I will update this as I get more info! Post here if you plan on attending, cause last year I never met a single Guyver fan. I hope this year is different.
  17. I think they only had 2 GN Arms units. Granted, there could be more either in planning, or at the main HQ... Realisitcally, they probably have one designed for each Gundam. But so far, only Exia and Dynames used theirs, and doesn't look like either of them will make it into the second season. The Ptolemy only had 2 combat containers unfortunately. One got launched with Exia and it's GN Arms unit, while the other is what the remaining crew managed to escape in, along with Dynames' core and GN Drive to keep it operational.
  18. Whoa, episode 24 was sad. Whew! Only one more episode to go! And it looks like it'll be a doozy!
  19. It seems official that the next Kamen Rider SIC will be... Den-O Sword form with Momotaros! While I am a little dissapointed that they seem to be skipping Kabuto... SIC's have never followed the release order for the series, so it's not that difficult to see why they chose Den-O as the next figure. I for one am pretty excited, I liked Den-O quite a bit, and Sword form was my second favorite design ( behind Zeronos).
  20. Yeah... I am hoping he'll "Pull a Mwu" and survive somehow. I kinda doubt it... but there is always hope I suppose. Of course the big question is... did he get Ali? It looks like he was engulfed by the beam, but after that, all we saw was Lockon. With only 2 episodes left in this season, it may just be possible for Lockon to have survived, even if we don't hear about it in the next 2 eps. I am just mainly dissapointed that Graham has been left out a lot in the last couple episodes. Sure, chances are he'll make a big comeback in 24 or 25... I expect big things from his GN drive Flag. I just hope the spoilers I read about him aren't true... even though it'd be one hell of a scene.
  21. Don't know where you got that from, but Tieria clearly states that the Trial System has complete control over any mobile suit linked to Veda. Now Tieria may have left some things out when he said this... OR he could have said exactly what the systems does. But note that in Episode 21, when the Gundams lost their links to Veda, they went completely silent. It was only after they rebooted, with an operating system not linked to Veda, that they were able to move again. Since Virtue is already able to block communications ect... from normal devices, it makes sense that the Trial system works in the similar fashion, except on a more extreme level, by blocking a Gundams link to Veda ( and since the Tau Drives were not in the original plan, the Trial system seems to indicate it was ment to be used on the actual CB Gundams.)
  22. It all depends one the true specs of the Trial system. If it indeed is like you say, and does effect in general, all GN drives, it'd be possible. Maybe Tieria wasn't being 100% specific when he activated it. Especially since the Throne Zwei didn't get deactivated. So I am thinking the trial system does have a limit to how far it works... but any source so far still states that it can "Control and Shut down any mobile suits connected to Veda" But then... it could also mean "Any GN Drives that used plans from Veda", and while the Trinity and GN-X's Tau Drives aren't purely from Veda... they probably share a lot in common, and maybe why the Trial system worked on them.
  23. I don't think they are. While the Trinities did have a link to Veda, it was more of a hacked link by Alejandro Corner and Ribbons Almack. The GN Drives that were given to the U.N. don't have that luxury, so the Trial system would not work on them ( shame too, now that I bet Virtue/Nadleeh's link to Veda is probably restored) Likewise for the Trans-Am system, which even the Trinities wouldn't have, since they were not included in the original plans, and are knock off GN Drives based on data of the true GN Drives that the original 4 Gundams have.
  24. Twilight Guyvers Creator of course >> Rather XT9's creator. Jason Duncan is Twilights creator.
  25. Ahahaha! Even I didn't vote for him... since the unfortunate thing about WGC isn't about the unit, but the host. Of all the WG's, he's easily the worst host of any of them. Maybe that's why the Matrix granted him such an attack. No need to think, just ram everything Wouldn't his not thinking be solved by putting him through riggerous training? As for his attack, does the Matrix really take into subscious thoughts about using attacks and everything? If so, that little toy has a hell of an edge. Well, you just need to look at the Unit-G itself. It customises itself to the host. The Matrix, being something of emense potential, would easily be able to tap into something like that, and create custom weapons for each individual that it touches.
