  1. It took me long enough to get it off my old external HD. But Drag has it now, and should be looking it over soon...
  2. Huh... dunno what that may have been. Has it happened before/since?
  3. August 8-10, at the Baltimore convention center.
  4. Well done. I really did not see that one coming at all.
  5. The 6 month wait is all due to marketing. It's 6 months where they can catch up on merchandise like Model kits, character figures, DVDs, ect... but then not have stuff really go stale because Season 2 will start up, keeping the first season still in peoples minds. They saw how badly having a show can end can effect the merchandising of it. Gundam Seed attempted to continue it's merchandise well after it was over... and it worked... for a while. But it died off probably a good 6-8 months after. Destiny kind of helped, but all in all, the merchandising for Gundam Seed was dead, and Destiny took over. This time they are playing it smarter... and sure, we get a break from it, even though we don't want it... but it's not like we are not left with other things to watch.
  6. Once again, I will be attending Otakon. But this year, I'll leave plenty of advance warning for those of you who may also be attending. Exact details of where my Artist Alley table will be is still uncertain as registration for them has yet to open. I will update this as I get more info! Post here if you plan on attending, cause last year I never met a single Guyver fan. I hope this year is different.
  7. I think they only had 2 GN Arms units. Granted, there could be more either in planning, or at the main HQ... Realisitcally, they probably have one designed for each Gundam. But so far, only Exia and Dynames used theirs, and doesn't look like either of them will make it into the second season. The Ptolemy only had 2 combat containers unfortunately. One got launched with Exia and it's GN Arms unit, while the other is what the remaining crew managed to escape in, along with Dynames' core and GN Drive to keep it operational.
  8. Whoa, episode 24 was sad. Whew! Only one more episode to go! And it looks like it'll be a doozy!
  9. It seems official that the next Kamen Rider SIC will be... Den-O Sword form with Momotaros! While I am a little dissapointed that they seem to be skipping Kabuto... SIC's have never followed the release order for the series, so it's not that difficult to see why they chose Den-O as the next figure. I for one am pretty excited, I liked Den-O quite a bit, and Sword form was my second favorite design ( behind Zeronos).
  10. Yeah... I am hoping he'll "Pull a Mwu" and survive somehow. I kinda doubt it... but there is always hope I suppose. Of course the big question is... did he get Ali? It looks like he was engulfed by the beam, but after that, all we saw was Lockon. With only 2 episodes left in this season, it may just be possible for Lockon to have survived, even if we don't hear about it in the next 2 eps. I am just mainly dissapointed that Graham has been left out a lot in the last couple episodes. Sure, chances are he'll make a big comeback in 24 or 25... I expect big things from his GN drive Flag. I just hope the spoilers I read about him aren't true... even though it'd be one hell of a scene.
  11. Don't know where you got that from, but Tieria clearly states that the Trial System has complete control over any mobile suit linked to Veda. Now Tieria may have left some things out when he said this... OR he could have said exactly what the systems does. But note that in Episode 21, when the Gundams lost their links to Veda, they went completely silent. It was only after they rebooted, with an operating system not linked to Veda, that they were able to move again. Since Virtue is already able to block communications ect... from normal devices, it makes sense that the Trial system works in the similar fashion, except on a more extreme level, by blocking a Gundams link to Veda ( and since the Tau Drives were not in the original plan, the Trial system seems to indicate it was ment to be used on the actual CB Gundams.)
  12. It all depends one the true specs of the Trial system. If it indeed is like you say, and does effect in general, all GN drives, it'd be possible. Maybe Tieria wasn't being 100% specific when he activated it. Especially since the Throne Zwei didn't get deactivated. So I am thinking the trial system does have a limit to how far it works... but any source so far still states that it can "Control and Shut down any mobile suits connected to Veda" But then... it could also mean "Any GN Drives that used plans from Veda", and while the Trinity and GN-X's Tau Drives aren't purely from Veda... they probably share a lot in common, and maybe why the Trial system worked on them.
  13. I don't think they are. While the Trinities did have a link to Veda, it was more of a hacked link by Alejandro Corner and Ribbons Almack. The GN Drives that were given to the U.N. don't have that luxury, so the Trial system would not work on them ( shame too, now that I bet Virtue/Nadleeh's link to Veda is probably restored) Likewise for the Trans-Am system, which even the Trinities wouldn't have, since they were not included in the original plans, and are knock off GN Drives based on data of the true GN Drives that the original 4 Gundams have.
  14. Twilight Guyvers Creator of course >> Rather XT9's creator. Jason Duncan is Twilights creator.
  15. Ahahaha! Even I didn't vote for him... since the unfortunate thing about WGC isn't about the unit, but the host. Of all the WG's, he's easily the worst host of any of them. Maybe that's why the Matrix granted him such an attack. No need to think, just ram everything Wouldn't his not thinking be solved by putting him through riggerous training? As for his attack, does the Matrix really take into subscious thoughts about using attacks and everything? If so, that little toy has a hell of an edge. Well, you just need to look at the Unit-G itself. It customises itself to the host. The Matrix, being something of emense potential, would easily be able to tap into something like that, and create custom weapons for each individual that it touches.
  16. Well if sully is Alk, then does make Zeo Balcus and Matt as either Shin or Imkarium I think you're on to something. Zeo is all science minded and so is Balcas. Very nice comparison. I'd vote Matt as Imakarum or Kron. Where's Andre and Allen fit in? Or Mike? Do I smell a poll coming? Chances are it would go likes this: Sully - Alkanphel - Leader and creator. Zeo - Blacus - First chosen, and science expert Matt - Shin - Looks to be close to second chosen, loyal and good buds with Balcus and Purg'Stall Andre - Purg'stall - Much like Shin. Allen - Imakarum - The upstart former "rival", who joined the main crew ( and gets bitchin shades) The other Zoalords are a bit harder to assign, as the so far, we have a total of 4 traitors... but we have had none. Unless of course we all forget to shave for a month... then we'd all be Waferindos
  17. Mwahahahaha. Exactly why I voted WGC. Ahahaha! Even I didn't vote for him... since the unfortunate thing about WGC isn't about the unit, but the host. Of all the WG's, he's easily the worst host of any of them. Maybe that's why the Matrix granted him such an attack. No need to think, just ram everything
  18. I think I've figured it out. Sully is like Alkanphel. He just used up too much of his power in the early years, and now dissapears to an island (Ireland!) to regain his energy. He sometimes makes quick appearences, and pretends everything is ok, but quickly uses his energy reserves, and has to go back and recharge. Using Guyver to explain real life? Oh you bet I went there
  19. Aptom did seem to absorb some part of Khan, as he did take over his body. But then, the topic is about the fan fiction Aptom, who we've had grab some Proto-Zoalord powers.
  20. Here's the actual line art sheets and color cover from Book 25: http://guyverc.homestead.com/files/guyver/book25-01.jpg - Cover Image http://guyverc.homestead.com/files/guyver/book25-94.jpg - Lineart pages It's pretty badass if you ask me. I have done a poor sketch of "Zoalord" Aptom... and in all honestly it did look something like his new official form... but now that he has this, I think I may make modifications off of it, rather than his older form.
  21. Fanatic is correct. WG4 is weaker, due to being a failed Test unit. However, in terms of test units, his is one of the closest to the real deal, along with his control medal being of the pyramid type. Obviously one of the later units made by the Creators, considering the look of the unit, just not quite a full fledged Warrior Guyver.
  22. Signed
  23. Oh quite indeed. The Kabuto and Den-O ones the person has done are also quite amazing looking. It's just a shame nobody seems to know where the pics come from. Each time they are posted, no source link is ever with them.
  24. Well, it is just a custom job. By no means the official SIC. They'll definatly do Kabuto before we get a Kiva ( or even Den-O). That Chalice Wild form looks good though.
  25. Or early depending on your timezone ( the board says you posted at 8:00 pm ) Happy New Year folks An entire new year for nothing to actually be acomplished!... wait did I say that out loud?
