  1. Yeah, I keep on forgetting to sign my pics.
  2. Oooooh, I get to bust out our favorite line that I haven't used in a long time... No Comment
  3. Chibi Dreadnought has a question... Which of the listed update would you like to see the most?
  4. I was pretty disappointed with Mothership Zeta... But at the very least it's the only downloadable content that has a weapon I WANT to use. The Alien Disintegrator is one hell of a gun. And boy did you get a lot of ammo for it up there... AND spares for repairs. No to mention the clip size of 100 shot before reload, but fires with the speed and accuracy of the Plasma Rifle... But with uber power... And the fastest reload time of ALL Fallout 3 weapons. A little overkill yes, but wicked awesome with all the right perks. Point Lookout was better... But I wish it felt more like a side story, than just a bunch of smaller quests that kind of become tangled together. The double barrel shotgun is really useless if you have the Terrible, and the Lever-Action Rifle is cool, but I have plenty of .44 ammo for the Lincoln's Repeater. But shooting the mutated hillbillies was fun. Overall though, both were still more satisfying than Operation Anchorage... Mothership Zeta felt as big as The Pitt, and Point Lookout didn't "feel" as big as Broken Steel... But that's probably because I hadn't found everything in the Capital Wasteland at that point.
  5. I love the fact that this one actually seems to have a normal map, with locations to travel to, at your own leisure. The last 2 ( not including Broken Steel since it used the main map) felt far too linear, and really didn't capture the Fallout experience ( especially Operation Anchorage ) I always found Fallout 3 to be a very "dumbed down" version of Oblivion for the First Person Shooter crowd. Which suits me just fine. But lets not get off topic here, this is a Fallout 3 thread.
  6. Are you talking just for SD Gundam Force? Or anything Gundam in general?
  7. Yeah... It's just a shame that Victory Gundam was such a disappointment financially for Sunrise/Bandai... Despite the fact the V series is one of my favorite designs. The V-Hexa head design, and the V2 and it forms are just awesome. And Uso used his Gundam parts in interesting ways. And yet, I think he was the only good part about Victory... The rest of the designs were just horrible... I still think his best work to date, was the designing of the entire roster of "bad guys" MS from Gundam Wing. Seeing his original designs before they were adapted to the series really shows off how awesome they were supposed to look.
  8. Yes. Yes it can.
  9. Teknoman by far seems to be what most people watched first, but that goes without saying since it was shown on TV. The very nice thing is, the entire Teknoman series on DVD, is usually $20 US or LESS, and comes in one box set. o buy Tekkaman Blade, ypou have to buy 3 sets, and they run about $30 US. Sadly, it does seem that version is only region 1... But that is why they invented Region free players =P
  10. There is 2 versions of Tekkaman Blade: 1. Original Japanese - Uncut, and with subtitles. Officially called "Tekkaman" Blade 2. English Version - Edited, but with english dub. Officially called "Teknoman" ( Note: The DVD release from Media Blasters is NOT the American Dub. It is the UK version, and features a few different voice actors, and actually calling D-Boy "Blade" instead of "Slade". The American version was never shown fully, and is not available) Both are exactly the same series, minus the differences with the editing on the English Dub version. Depends what you prefer, subs or dubs. There is also Tekkaman Blade 2. The DVD release of it has both English Dubbing and Japanese with Subtitles. Definitely should watch it after the main series.
  11. unless they change it in the continuation and it doesn't give you a choice. I dunno... so it was never an option for me. But it seems the way they played it out, they probably will keep it with the "good" ending. Or the extra quests after the big 3 missions are done, wouldn't exist at all. Though they could modify it... it seems unlikely as I haven't read anything about that yet.
  12. Well, finally got around to beating it... I must say I was a bit pissed. Considering the ending, and how I used Fawkes as my side kick... I really didn't like the cop out of the new "ending". But then... 2 Weeks Later... Overall, I liked Broken Steel. They SHOULD have made it the first DLC though. The increased level cap also makes you too much of a god. But 3 main story missions ( thus 3 Achievements) and 3 more quests, with a few buildings that were once closed, now opened? Better than the last 2 releases. Much better. And I thankfully never hit one of the bugs that woudl freeze the game... though I did get some clipping and choppy-ness, but nothing major. I think this one was actually worth the 800 points.
  13. About my first post, I didn't mean to come off as attacking like, was just wondering if indeed you thought otherwise about the intended idea behind the movie. However, you seem to be taking this movie much more seriously than intended. That being said... I think you are in the general minority of Star Trek fans who think this movie is bad. ( Hell, where I live, we have a town called Vulcan, yes, named after the Vulcan homeworld, where it is literally one of the best Star Trek fan places to go in the world... and they all loved the movie). But, everyone is entitled to their opinion. Thus, I am eagerly awaiting the official announcement of a sequel. Though, I have to think that because of how the Star Trek TV series ended up, some people who are die-hard tv series fans, rather than the movie fans, can seem disappointed. The writing in the TV series was so stunted by Rick Berman ( yes, I am not a fan of his), that the series ended up stagnating into formulaic plots lines. Only Voyager was able to move a bit away from this, but still suffered greatly. I might suggest any Trek fan listen to this interview... especially the parts about Trek. His personal story is also really good ( and quite quite funny), but the truths he reveals about the Trek set really open ones eyes, and once you look back, you can see it in the series. http://geekson.com/archives/archiveepisode...isode111406.htm It's in MP3 format too.
  14. I suspect you never read anything about it before you saw it? It was meant to be a relaunch. And it had plenty of "Faithful" moments and aspects, but as many said beforehand, "This isn't your fathers Star Trek" It was an alternate time line, thus it could have happened completely different... and as we found out, certain things did start out completely different, right from the get go hen the Kelvin incident occurred. The ship looking updated is something one should expect, especially since every new movie that re-envisions things these days tend to do that as well. I personally liked it. They used time travel in a much different way than they did in the past, and IMO ended up with a pretty good ending... even if the plot was kind of thin on the Romulans part. I think my favorite character tough, was Karl Urban as Leonard "Bones" McCoy. He just played him so well.
  15. More problems too! Apparently the part of Bethesda that creates PC games, doesn't seem to realize that it's not cool to release a game/expansion that s full of bugs. Especially on a console system. Hopefully they come out with the fixes soon.
  16. Estimated to arrive August 2009. - Tekkaman apprx. 4" - Pegasus apprx. 8" - Included with figures: Tekk Lancer (single), Tekk Lancer (twin), Tekk Shield, interchangeable hands for weapons, clear display stand Appearently it's not a SoC, but Tamashii Spec... still awesome though. Sadly it's going to be about $150 US... But that won't stop me. Couple more pics though:
  17. Blade CAN fit inside Pegas =P Probably going to be expensive ( Soul of Chogokin usually are), but oh so worth it in my opinion.
  18. I honestly think it seems Pegas was more to keep D-Boy grounded to the Space Knights. If he just had his crystal, he really didn't "need" them for much. Having him forced to use Pegas to transform kept him in close ties with the Space Knights, so that the friendships could grow. Despite the fact in the original Star Knight Tekkaman, Pegasus was the way the hero got his armor on. I just can't wait for the Blade and Pegas SoC figure set that is coming... That's going to be awesome.
  19. The O Gundam most certainly was based after the RX-78 model ( the later paint job being that of the most famous of the line the RX-78-2), being the "First Mobile Suit equipped with a GN Drive", thus being the "First Gundam"... which naturally, is usually what the first Gundam series is referred to as. Although there are some slight differences in the head design. I though 00 was ok for the most part. The first half was better imo, since Setsuna became so much HAX after he got 00 Raiser. Although Saji was a hell of a lot better in the second half. I am still kind of pissed that once again, Graham got shafted a bit... but at least we know he's alive. I am glad that the Meisters survived though. Except for Tieria of course... but I wouldn't exactly count him out just yet... I don't think it'd be too hard for him to download himself in a new body or something. Double-lujah was awesome once again... but ultimately wasted overall. They should have played up with him a bit more. Allelujah was my favorite Meister from season 1, and it's a shame he kind of got shafted in season 2. Mary getting her Mary Parfacy self back was a relief... although I think it would have been interesting if Soma has started to like Allelujah too ( which they did kind of hint at a bit) Lyle/Lockon had a few good moments too... He was pretty well done overall... and finally getting the kill on Ali was great. It seemed like that guy was never going to die. The only one he didn't make absolutely hate him, was Allelujah... Although I still kind of wished Setsuna would have finished him off... He seemed to have the most against him. Setsuna sadly didn't change too much... ( other than the obvious "change"), but seeing Exia at the end was pretty awesome. Still, it's ending was way beter than what we got of Destiny... AND we still have a movie coming. Should be fun.
  20. If I had to say a series, it would definitely be G Gundam. Despite the basic tournament plot line, the whole Devil Gundam plot line behind it just added so much depth, and allowed the characters to really shine. But IF I had to choose a single Gundam unit... I dunno if I could. I have my favorites from certain categories though... UC Gundam - RX-78GP03 Stamen - It's basic, but has the awesome wing binders on it's hips. I hate when games include the full Dendrobium, and not the Stamen separately. AU Gundam - GATX-105 Strike Gundam - Mostly the Aile pack... but I do have a fondness for the Sword and Launcher packs. Again, it's basic... but sleak, and looks great with it's equipment.( plus my favorite pilot of all time gets to pilot it... Go Mwu!) Manga series - RX-79BD01 Blue Destiny - Just because it has been a favorite of mine for ages. =P ---------------------------------------------- See, the problem with UC Gundam, is that not all of it's parts are equal. Certain shows within the time line do more harm than good for the franchise ( ZZ, and in my opinion V). But some of it, is VERY good, and shouldn't be missed by anybody (0080). However, it seems with UC Gundam, the really good series no one ever really hates, and the bad series seems to be all one sided too. It's that aspect that makes UC great IMO... People can agree about it. Sadly, the AU's seem to be hit and miss. Some love G Gundam, while others hate it. Same goes for Wing, Turn A, Seed, Seed Destiny and 00 ( oddly, I don't think enough people have seen X to really take sides on it).
  21. The expansion Broken Steel will raise the cap to 30... but even that has been pushed back a month...
  22. I was just about to post the same thing... Nena Trinity is just so... wrong. She's mentally unstable ( even before her brothers were killed), and is the entire reason Louise went to the A-Laws. Just because she was upset the people at her parents party, which she was flying by, were having a good time. Thankfully it was the incident that had the crew of the Ptolemy finally attack them... but still, she doesn't everything on a whim, and laughs about it. I was originally thinking Ribbons Almack, now that he's proven it's his own ambition he's following now... But Nena is so much worse.
  23. I'm sorry if this sounds insulting to anyone... but if it took you 5 hours to beat Operation Anchorage... you were either level 1, or just picked the game up. It was 2 hours tops for me. Calling OA a 4-5 hour content pack should have the people at Bethesda shot... Unless they all suck at their own game...
  24. That all depends... do you think an extra 2 hours of game play is worth 800 points? Game play that I might add, is inferior to the normal Fallout 3 game play. I mean, ok, I got the armor, and the Gauss Rifle... but at the point I am at, I don't need either. Though they said OA would be the weakest of the DLC packs, I am hoping they pushed the other back a month to add more content.
  25. Woooooooooooooooooo! Operation: Anchorage here I come!
