I know there was a bit of information left out of the anime that was noted by the light novels ( they didn't note in the anime that authorities were alerted to every player location in order for them to take care of their bodies while in the game). So not having actually read them I can't say for certain, but I am pretty sure that if the players disconnected in any other way than hitting "Logout" they would be fried. I have no doubt that they might have tried that with a few people... And those people probably died.

Yeah, a bit pricey... Though I bet the seller knows that it is probably pretty rare, since they seem to have a lot of other art books for ok prices. Edit: Looks like it's been bought anyway.

That or, when the new unit tried to bond with Sho, his regular unit would probably bio-boost and blast the new unit away. Either way, with how the Control medal attaches to the hosts brain, there would be no room for 2.

I think you might be =P Mainly because, if you look at all the pages, it is not very consistant what the shading is. In some panels the armor looks clear and has no shading, but in the big front shot there is shading all over it. Then compair the two shots of the armor pulling off Sho... In one it is nice and clear, where in the second the shading has changed. THEN you look at Aptom reforming, and his shading seems to change between panels as well. It's probably all due to presentation. The extra shading is probably added for badassery effect, rather than lighting. Granted, it could all be different colors too. The important thing is, Yoshiki Takaya knows how to make his fans chat up his manga!

New Guyver chapter... Not translated as of this writing... But all I can say is... I don't think we'd have ever thought of that with Aptom. Kind of did with Cyber Guyver and Robo Guyver briefly... But still. Awesome. http://www.guyversolution.tk/guyvermanga/latestmanga/

Is it bad, despite how awesome Aptom always looks... That I want him to stay in that form as his new battle form? lol! But damn, what an awesome idea. In all my years of fan fic writing, I never would have thought of that. Damn cool. Either way, I kind of saw this coming. In a way, I know Sho kind of realizes that for the most part, Chronos's takeover has done a lot of good, and that Shin is one of the "Good" Zoalords. And of course by "good", I mean mostly that he's not an evil prick. He's still Chronos, but he's no Guyot or like the 3 Traitors. He and Purg'stall seemed to be fairly decent rulers. And no doubt Sho AND Shin probably realize that Sho could kill him if he really wanted to, now that he's one of the few active Zoalords left. So if Sho is coming to him for information, it is a bold move, but one that Sho can make safely at this point. And for Shin, if Sho is after a common enemy or two ( or three), it might actually be in his favor to help at this point. Their numbers are dropping, and if one of your enemies who is able to kill you, is standing before you asking for information on some of your other enemies, why not share a bit? Especially when that enemy is usually a nobel soul, rather than a backstabber ( Agito) It's moments like this that I wish Guyver was a weekly series... Events like this just really make you need more. Now I can't wait for the volume with this chapter to be released... I want a full body pic of the "Aptom Suit"... Hopefully with some color too... If I wasn't at work, I'd probably have an image of it loaded in photoshop playing with color designs... Though at first I would guess it uses the colors of Aptoms newer form, since he wouldn't need to alter it to make it suitable colors for Sho either... But it could be totally different for better deception...

I have been loving it. The final episodes of the first arc were great. If I had one wish, it would be that the series would never have left SAO, but still ended the same way. Yeah, I know it is based off of some light novels, and that they early episodes were just side stories that happened after the fact... But they really could have done a lot more within the SAO world... Especially since I am not too keen on the new arc. It wouldn't be the first time an artists vision was altered... And even then, it looks like it may not delve even further after the Alfheim arc. But I just found the large time skips a bit too jarring. Especially since he goes from lvl 40 something to lvl 78 between 2 episodes. As for the Alfhiem arc... I was wondering how they were going to explain how he would ever stand a chance to reach Asuna if he had to start over at lvl 1, but I guess it kind of makes a bit of sense. It's a shame that it technically already has a more cohearent plot than the start of the first arc... But since he doesn't have to level up, they can spend more time on plot. I'm just not fond of the fairy idea personally... Which is why, I wish they had just extended the SAO arc. It's all just sword/bladed weapon combat, which is a type of thing I like moreso than magic. But I am in it until the end. They made the Kirito/Asuna relationship actually matter to people, which is one of the series strong points. Oh, and Klein FTW. 'cause Klein is a bro.

upcoming series Kamen Rider Wizard - september 2012

Pretty much in the same boat with a lot of people... Very very VERY MEH. I liked the Suit design for the most part, but it certainly is very plain. But the Rider System is too much like a mix of 000's and Den-O... And the way the belt talks is annoying. The backstory does seem dark, but much like Kiva they don't seem to want to go that route at all. And it's a shame... My favorite rider series are all darker and more serious. -
What I like, is it looks like they are teasing us that the "Ugly Yellow" armor will not be the final armor of the movie. Becuase the paint job is horrible. It's not even golden... It's like dijon mustard. The armor design itself is great, just the coloring... But it looks like it will be the "Test" armor that will preceed the "Final" armor for the movie, and what he will no doubt wear in The Avengers 2. From the synopsis Marvel released, it mentions that Tony loses everything... I am hoping the teaser trailer above is all from the first half of the movie. And the rumors that he will be controlling something like 30 Iron Man armors at once... That is taken straight from the comics, post Extremis as well.

Since it's been a while... - Eureka Seven AO (Astral Ocean) - A lot more action than the first series... But just as screwy with plot points. Plus a lot less stuff that bugged me about the first series. - Sword Arts Online - 10,000 people are stuck in a virtual reality MMO. Only way to get out without dying in the real world? Someone has to beat the final boss. Enjoying it quite a bit. Started a bit late on watching it, but it has grabbed my attention. - Muv Luv Alternitive Total Eclipse - Mixture of fan service, gore, giant robots and love story. Not the greatest series... But the mecha designs are nice - Gundam AGE - Finished - Bleh. Really left a sour taste in my mouth. I liked parts of it, and I liked a lot of the mecha designs ( enough to buy the model kits)... But the final plot arc was horrible. And the fact the next Gundam series will be a sequel to AGE... I don't have high hopes for the plot. The Mecha though...

I really liked how Sho and Agito seem to be on... Neutral terms at the moment. It's almost as if Sho doesn't care what Agito was doing behand. Yes, he was upset that Agito override control of the Gigantic before, but Sho never really had a reason to face off with Agito. And in the end, it helped Sho become a stronger person for it. It really seemed that Agito's own vanity would not let it slide that Sho took over the Gigantic from HIM, and that now that he had his own, he wanted to prove to someone, most likely himself, that he was better. When Agito "passed on" responsibility of the human race to him, he basically realized a few things about himself that Sho surpassed. However, when Sho refused to finish him off, and possibly having passed that Exceed infomation to him, I think Agito realized something very important: Sho was never his enemy. Rival maybe, but never his enemy. This has always been a flaw in Agito's character. Never trust anyone. Ever. Use them until they are of no use to you, and eliminate ANYTHING that might be a threat. Hopfully the last part of the chapter shows Agito softening up a bit. Even his reaction to Shizu joining him at the graveyard seemed a bit out of character for him, but in a good way. And I have no doubt in my mind that we will see Guyver 1 fighting alongside Guyver 3 again. But of couse, as it noted in the chapter, yes, they still have some issues to work out, but this was definately a good character building session for Agito.

If I had to guess, I would say, somewhere between Obito giving Kakashi his eye, and the Kyubi incident, Rin probably died. Obito trying to put a genjutsu on the entire world would fit if she had died, and now he is trying to stop everything. It wouldn't be the most original reason for him to be doing it, but if that is the case, it would be fairly fitting. Like most bad guys, he's just gone waaay too far with his ideals.

Can't say that I liked it. At all.

So, over in Brian's fan fic preview http://warriorguyver.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=4651 Illusion of Choice (Preview), I posted a picture. A picture of a Chibi Griselda scolding him. I decided to take it one step further, and give her something else to really scold. Yeah, I really should do "work" at work... right?
-
I really should be working.,. My mind wandered as I doodled... Then I decided to give Griselda something to actually be scolding... Chibi-er Libertus stealing cookies! Once again... Once I got the idea, I couldn't not draw it.

Will definately going to give this one a shot. Can kind of already see how he will use the belt... Though the hand print on the buckle is kind of tacky, but fitting if it works the way I think it will. The suit IS kind of plain, and does scream Den-O in overall looks and/or idea, but it doesn't actually look BAD IMO ( like Fourze... ugh) How much you want to bet the other forms each use a different weapon too?...lol -
So, Brian O'Sullivan of warriorguyver.com posted some new writing he did on our forum. Me, who hasn't sadly written anything for the site in years, thought I would be funny to mock him... For actually doing something. So I made this post: The idea would be if someone was scolding him for actually doing something. The word "scolding" stuck in my mind, and I pictured a generic anime girl scolding him... But because of who I am... The generic girl turned into Griselda. Then into a chibi Griselda. And there was no way I could NOT draw that. Even if I am at work, and only had scrap paper and a crappy pencil. Then added: This will be fixed up and finished when I get home ( or tomorrow)... But I thought I would share since well... It's a slow day at work... lol.
-
What is this...? Writing? On a fanfiction site? Absurd! Chibi Griselda will have none of this! ... Originally had planned to just make fun of the fact someone here actually posted some writing... But the idea of someone scolding Brian seemed funny... And then the idea of a Chibi Griselda doing it just seemed even funnier. So despite the fact I am at work, and only had scrap paper and a "classic" pencil handy... I could not pass it up. And yes, this WILL be fixed up and finished. *EDIT* Yeah... I took it one step further... See below link to the fanart forum... http://warriorguyver.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=4652

No doubt eventually there will be a proper translated version of the japanese book 5 ( proper names, non-flipped and no McGyver references... lol), but hopfully these will do for now. But Ryuki and I were getting a little sick of people not being able to find the early books, and not reading any farther in this glorious manga series that we do love so much.

Went to a Thursday night showing with my brother. Loved it. Downloaded a cam rip. Watched it a few more times on Friday/Saturday. Went to theater again on Sunday when friends went to see it . Yeah, it's good stuff. Great stuff. Puny god. Now, I will admit, I am a much bigger Iron Man fan than any of the other characters... And RDJ's Tony Stark certainly has been the publics favorite character... They perhaps gave him a bit too much screen time once he finally arrived... But what can I say? The guy is just awesome. Everything he says is awesome, just because of how he says it. He has friction with every character (some to a lesser degree) due to his carefree and selfish attitude... Yet doesn't quite come off as an asshole... Though maybe a bit jerkish... lol My only complaint was that there wasn't even a mention of War Machine. They should have mentioned something along the lines of him being busy, or that Stark was still working on a new armor for him. I mean, Rhodey is eveything that SHIELD wanted in an armored fighter ( See Iron Man 2's ending... Iron Man: Yes. Tony Stark: Not Recommended) ... Except the super brain... But Rhodey is still no idiot. If his armor was active, there is no reason why he should not have been there to fight an alien invasion. Kind of a small complaint, especially considering it could have just been 1 sentence added to clear it up... But they gotta think that fans would notice stuff like this. Kind of dissapointed at the first special scene at the end of the initial credits... Should have used Kang the Conqueror or Skrulls... Thanos is more of a Galactic enemy ( though I may be thinking more recently, but even the Infinity Guantlet had non Avengers in it ). The shwarma scene was funny though. Especially since they were still in costume ( well not Stark), but the guys in the background just kept on cleaning as usual. Now just to wait for Iron Man 3 and Thor 2 for next year, and Cap 2 in 2014.

Yeah... I find it so sad that certain places of the world are getting it so early... But the places where the movie is based, and where the characters were created.... Gets it 9 days after. (May 4th ) I mean, Over a bloody week difference... Not just a few days. I mean, ok, yeah I know with other movies they tend to get them a bit later at times... But geez, this isn't a foreign film... It decidedly American.
-
Huh... Never saw that coming... I mean, yeah, the Anime is basically caught up to the manga again... But even the manga stated that the story arc that has just started is the final part. It just seems like they didn't want to do a bunch of filler crap now that it is caught up. Once the manga is finished, I am sure we will see more animated Bleach. Just to finish it off. Either a movie, or an OAV... But I am sure this is not the last we will see of animated Bleach.

I can't speak for everyone, but I think it would be weak story telling. Jade Tatsu made a thread about weak story telling and this was one of the concerns, apollon coming out of nowhere. I refuse to believe he could be a new player for that very reason. it would be lame, and takaya sensei doesn't do lame. I agree totally, though my reasoning isn't just because "it's lame" lol! Imakarum and Archanphel have been out of play for so long, it would be poor story telling to bring in some new guy, who we aren't even sure IS an enemy... But seems to have powers similar to Archanphel. It's not hard to believe that when Imakarum was in Archanphels healing pod, that he wasn't upgraded. Archanphel made Imakarum special right from the start... this much we already know simply because of his eyes. But Imakrum is maybe so special, that Archanphel risked almost whatever little bit of life he may have in him, to fully resurrect him, because Archanphel wants a replacement for himself, rather than just a replacement for Guyot. And with Imakrum now having seen the true past, and what Archanphels motivations actually are, it's more likely that IF Apollon is Imakarum, he's trying to complete Archanphels goal of getting the Ark going. If anything, he might be using Tetsuro and Mizuki as bargaining chips for Sho to help him take out the remaining Zoalords... Despite some of them possibly still being loyal... But not knowing the full truth. The whole " Hey look, I know how you work. Help me complete my goal, and we'll leave Earth." type of deal. And who knows, maybe they don't need Zoalords to power the Ark anymore. Maybe they just need the crystals. If that is the case, then all Apollon needs are the Zoa-Crystals, thus why he'd even go after still loyal Zoalords. Just as an insurance that they wouldn't betray them at a later date. I wouldn't put it past them to create some kind of biological housing for the crystals on the ark, in order for them to still function.
