Guyver

Hi all I recently took part in a pair of podcast commentaries on the nerdsphere reviewing the two live action guyver movies here are the links hope you enjoy http://shutupandwatchthis.podomatic.com/entry/2013-02-18T08_47_59-08_00 http://shutupandwatchthis.podomatic.com/entry/2013-02-22T11_54_03-08_00

How long does Gigantic last before it disengages and reverts the pilot back to default Guyver? Reason why I ask if Sho or Agito disperse too much energy, like using the Giga Smasher too many times can cause the Gigantic to disengage to recharge....or if the Gigantic takes too much damage and uses energy to repair itself during battle. During Agito's battle with Imakarum, he was conserving energy, and ended up disengaging the Gigantic to go finish Imakarum after he damaged his ZoaCrystal. Like Proto Zoalords, the gigantic has a time limit on how long the form lasts and how much energy they're able to use. Would it last 10-20 minutes based on the battle it…

Pretty much what the title says, I'm following the instructions but I can not get validated for some reason. What should I do? I just want to buy some volumes that I'm missing.

Moviebob is a movie reviewer and outspoken geek who has done a lot of videos I have liked in the past. Back when he was on the Escapist, he had a weekly geek comment show and every Ooctober, he'd do what he called "Schlocktober" where he would showcase a few terrible/so bad its good movies. And even though he is now more independent, this year he continued the tradition. This week, he did: The Guyver (aka Mutronics), and had plenty good to say about it because these are the types of films he likes ( he even comments that Guyver 2 Dark Hero lost some of that cheesy charm that he liked, for being a more serious take on the material). So I give you: In Bo…

Ever wondered how Guyver's can vocally communicate? I do all the time. Anyone got any thoughts on how they do it? I know the host's body is altered when bioboosted, so I would like to know how it affected a Guyver's ability to speak.

On the audio rabbit-hole that is Soundcloud, I found someone who remixed some of the 12 ep. Guyver series music. They're all pretty much have a smooth hip-hop beat feel. If you're into that sort of thing, I thought you could find some enjoyment out of this playlist. https://soundcloud.com/bluerobotsocks/sets/guyver-remix-playlist Those are the remixes I could find on Soundcloud. Should I look for more? or could you post any that you do?

Since there's a limit on Shizus life span, I'm surprised that one of the gigantic darks primary objectives wasn't to find someway to extend her life, like taking a proper crystal from a proper zoalord. Although this probably wouldn't work, as there would then be a risk of her being subjected to Archanfels will, but then Guyot did alright for independence!

Hi everyone. I remember back in the day there used to be quite a few good collections members had. I was just wondering if anyone was still doing this ?

Is anyone ever so curious about whether or not Sho and his friends will have a happy ending or if Sho might have one of those hero deaths at the end of the story? I'm just wondering how it will play out should it come to an end.

finally got the collections of these Guyver Keyrings to add to my Collection which is coming along nicely.

get a load of these great lamps i would love them all but very expensive aint sure if theres a guyver 3 lamp.

Could anybody get me... clear pictures of Waferdanus in battle-mode? Preferably from the time when Valcus encountered him first, on the island Silha, before either of them received a Zoa-cystal? clear pictures of Purg?stall, or Prukshutal, from Vol. 16? I would be quite grateful.

I was thinking this figure from Sakamoto Desu Ga would make a good Sho with a head switch: https://myfigurecollection.net/item/287879 He wears a standard Japanese uniform like in the show, and he's sized proportionately to the BFC figure. I have seen some Kamen Rider figures where the jacket is open if you want a more dynamic look. I'm still considering which head to use (Yeah I'd have to buy 2 figures to make this, but worth it). It's probably super easy to find another figure to match figma proportions if you collect the figma instead. Hell, you could even have 2 heads, one for the manga version and another for the 2005 tv series. Also, maybe there are ways to…

Kind of a weird thing on part of ADV... but they really seem to be pushing to get the new Guyver anime some exposure, like it's the new "flagship" title of ADV. Could also be because ADV-US had a big part in the new series creation. The official website is also up! http://www.guyvertv.com That's TODAY folks. If your the least bit interested, go check it out. Chances are, it will be the dub that is available, but something is better than nothing, right? http://media.tv.ign.com/media/856/856215/vids_1.html Go, watch the dub! And see how they fixed the shading of Guyver 1 in the opening!

i found this picture of guyver 2f spread but dont know where it comes from but would like to see it properly.

Aether's chapter by chapter observations have me thinking and we've had a few talks about the last two chapters of book 1 and such. I never before really considered too much about how if Guyver didn't catch on. So was Guyver III supposed to be a big mystery or were we always supposed to figure it was Agito? I mean I really don't think there was much mystery. I mean I sort of wondered who was Guyver III when I watched the OVA series, which was when I had only seen the two live action movies. Then I went 'oh of course!' around the fourth or fifth episode. Was he supposed to be Agito or very much somebody we had never met and Agito was going to go the Zeus Thunderbolt route …

Kadokawa released free special “20th Anniversary Shonen Ace†with their 20 best manga’s first chapters on Amazon Kindle. And it contains first Guyver chapter in excellent quality! Well, obviously it's Japanese version. And you may have problems in registering and purchasing it because you need to have Japanese telephone number and location in your profile. So here's kindle rip as simple zip archive with jpg images (only Guyver's chapter): download: https://www.mediafire.com/?gu8yxw6s5ggf8x5 mirror: http://dvusrachek.rusfolder.net/42330984 Сover in high-res: http://guyver-world.ru/pics/shonen-ace-20th-anniversary.jpg ---- If you want to get it legally - Amazon l…

Dunno if this will be of any interest to anyone but http://www.bioboost.co.uk is now (partially) back online (note that it is now bioboost not bio-boost).

The topic says it all. Whate are some things that you really like about the Guyver? What I really like is the armor, the zoanoids, the zoalords for one. That being Richard Guyot and how evil he was and how Sho and Agito endured a good fight against Chronos. So, those are some things that I really enjoyed about the series. Thoughts?

is that such things are not new, but still, I think taking in more depth zoalords, will be better for the manga, this is an idea that I stay in my years as a child, griselda garak with serious and serious yentsui enabram, tain, is that nothing in the history, but I love this part and hya if you could do something very good, although I think we all had a similar idea, and I even like the stuff, Jem'Hadar, like having your soldiers, addicted to a drug that only you can probeer, I would like to know what ideas you would have,

Now something just popped in my head relating to the Gigantic. What do you suppose would happen if there was such an enemy that could rip the gigantic's control medal out of Sho's or Agito's head? What do you suppose would happen? The Gigantic armor go into melt down or would it just retreat to its chrysilis or would it severe Sho or Agitos link to their Gigantic armor?

How are they Dealing with him in the new anime? I mean is he in it, or is that yet to be confirmed?! Regards, W2

I've got a question regarding the Guyver OVA OST. Does anyone know where I can find both the Romaji and English lyrics to this song?
