Guyver

I told my Fiancee I would read Sailor Moon if she would read The Guyver. So far, she thinks it's ok. (I think Sailor Moon is alright, just not too crazy about the art style). She hasn't read much, but I think she might enjoy it. She only likes newer animation, so I know she'll like the anime! Thank goodness, Chuang Yi Publishing is going to bring out volumes 9-15 soon, so she can read them too. Anybody else able to get their Significant Other into The Guyver?

So our experiment today is to see what happens when you take a fully functioning, brand new one of these..... ..and attach it to a powerful host who suffers from savoir mental illness and disability such as our subject here. How would the guyver or more specifically the control metal react to being bonded to an individual with such significant cognitive impairment and psychotic tendencies like Leatherface?

In 2001 a rare Guyver Anime Production Cell was up for sale on ebay. What was really good about it was that this was signed by english voice actor Tom Charles. Well, I took a chance and bought it from a guy in NewYork. I waited two weeks for the air mail delivery, then a month, and then eight weeks. I started to get just a little anxious. I looked for somewhere to put this but couldn't find any other topic. i apologise if its in the wrong place. I have recently recieved the first two books of the translation of guyver. For anyone who was deciding wether or not to go for them, I will describe them. The print quality of the books is slightly inferior to that of the original but far better than the viz prints. The paper is of a thinner quality. The book is in the same format and aspect as the original(you read right to left). The translation itself is performed by differnet people for different books. as a result the writing takes on a different quality. Book 1 is amazing! it is not simply translated but …

alright lads, im new to this message board but im glad i found it, just a few quick questions. 1) in the newly translated guyver novels do you have to read right to left? and are they doin all of them? 2)when is the aptom and murakami figures due out? 3)in the very first episode of guyver how come when sho recalls the unit it goes into the lake? this never happens again to my knowledge.

Does anyone own the Guyver image album soundtrack? if not anyone know where i can download the tracks from the soundtrack. also in that soundtrack do they have any of the battle musics except for the aptom battle?

I just thought i would tell you that i have just received the italian translations of the guyver books from issue 13-26 and as soon as i can be bothered, i will be spending a long time translating them using babblefish, or i could just scan the text and get someone else to translate it for me.

Just got vol. 5 today. I've only skimmed through, worrying that since Singapore has has decency laws, that Mizuky's nudity would be editted. Well, it is slightly. Only the nipples are editted out. But that's better than having panties and a bra drawn on. I'll read the rest later and tell you what I think. Edit: Fixed a typo. Edit 2: I read the entire graphic novel and I am quite pleased. No typos or anything!

Is there anywhere to view translations of the data files? I've been trying to find them but the old location is down. It'd be great if there was somewhere with all of them, just the Zoanoid/Zoalord/Guyver stats not the interviews and stuff, all. Additional question; does the new (relatively speaking) policy on translations extend to the data files and that's why they're so hard to find?

I recently bought a collection of old anime VHS off eBay (Akira, Patlabor, Genocyber, Urotsukidoji, etc.) including all the Manga Entertainment OVAs of The Guyver. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in me scanning the cover art for each volume, or did HQ copies already exist?

Are there any Shonen Ace Covers that feature the Guyver prominently? I know you Have Shonen Captain Covers, but I wish you guys had a decent scan of a Shonen Ace Cover With a Guyver (the franchise) on it... Maybe there was one in 2005 featuring the then new anime series. Maybe there was one with it's arrival. Who knows?

Does anyone here know where I could either download(public license) or buy a custom 3d model of Guyver I? I want to use it on VR Chat, and see how many people recognize Guyver...but mostly just because it would be living out my fantasy in VR. Preferably anime/manga style instead of Dark Hero style. Scared to Death - Syngenor - A movie that actually helped inspire the Guyver... And it's sequel SYNGENOR, which basically rips off Cronos... But even has David Gale as the head of the evil company... Just like in the first Guyver movie!

I apologize if this has already been discussed, but I have been gone for quiet some time. But I have been recently wondering, whatever happened to the Libertus that Aptom was fighting? in the pier? Did he kill them? Absorb them? What? Aptom seems like the type that he wouldn't back down from a fight let alone a potentially tasty Zoanoid unless he had good reason to. I am also wondering if it has also been mentioned whether he can in fact absorb them or not.

I've checked around a bit, and I can't find any definitive frame from the manga that shows exactly what happened to guyver 2's medal after being ejected from the suit. A lot of the earlier manga pages were pretty loose with details on smaller things like that, but... ...the animations don't explicitly show what happens, either. I always assumed it was destroyed by Sho's mega smasher, but we know later on that the guyver control medals can survive a mega smasher easily(to the point where Sho is vaporized, but his control medal isn't even singed). So what happened to it? It should be mostly intact, somewhere. It feels like Chronos would have looked for it at the s…
