Introduce your Significant Other to The Guyver?

Featured Replies

I told my Fiancee I would read Sailor Moon if she would read The Guyver. So far, she thinks it's ok. (I think Sailor Moon is alright, just not too crazy about the art style). She hasn't read much, but I think she might enjoy it. She only likes newer animation, so I know she'll like the anime! :D Thank goodness, Chuang Yi Publishing is going to bring out volumes 9-15 soon, so she can read them too.:twisted:

Anybody else able to get their Significant Other into The Guyver? :P

I find it that if your significant other or friend isn't a big fan of manga/comics or anime than it'll be extremely difficult to let them try it out. For example, my best friend I introduced him to the Guyver after asking why I spend so much time on this board and website. I told him, because he likes some of the anime and manga. However on the flip side, if I were to tell some of my other friends, then it'll be practically impossible.

As far as my girlfriend is concerned. I have a better chance of converting her into a Trekkie than a Guyver fan. She likes StarGate SG-1 and some of the standard sci-fi flicks. Though she is the rare person who has not seen any of the Star wars films. Odd.

She calls me her "Dork in aluminium foil" than knight in shining armor... :P
