Guyver

Does anyone own any guyver laserdisks. i have been trying to get the art work for a while now and recently came across guyver dark hero with the inside cover of the making which was really cool. i was going to see if i could bet better images to redo the insides as i have most pictures but still need a couple to complete.

So, I've been poking around YouTube lately looking for broadcasts from the Sci-Fi Channel (no, I will not use the current name, TYVM). One thing I've been looking for are promos from when the channel aired the live-action Guyver films. Lo and behold, I found something! Skip to the 3:04 mark, and you'll find them there!

well its took me all day to scan all this book. Now i have the task of cropping and resizing all images. i put the first of the images up not sure how you guys wanna do things. i dont think translating the whole book will be worth it only the guyver pages but thats upto the translators. If the images are wrong size or wanna change let me know before i put the next batch up.

If you had a choice, which would you be and why? 'Both' sadly isn't an option.

A while back, I bought a "rare" ( not sure HOW rare) Guyver Out of Control art book off of Ebay. I finally got fed up with not being able to find a decent sized scanner, and used my digital camera to at last share the thing. Eventually I'll probably just run it to a copy shop and have them scan it properly. You will note some issues because of the flash, and the fact I don't want to flatten the book down too much. I have bought the book and impressed with its footage . This project is gonna take me a bit of time guys the book is that big it wont fit on my scanner i have to do half at a time and then join them. Then the hard work of cleaning them up. The sample images took a few hours just to get them right. Any tips or help would be good at this time. Once the book is done it will be passed on too Sully to decide how he wants to show it. This book has cost me a lot of money and your getting it for free. I was wonfering if anyone had the 12 Guyver OVA VHS covers from Manga Entertainment that they could post? I have the 2 DVD's that Manga put out but I'd like to get a good look at the other covers. I would certaintly apprecite anyones assistance and thanks in advance.

Greetings everyone! I was just wondering if any of the original English voice actors from the twelve episode Guyver OVA had any personal websites. I've been rewatching the series lately and remembered one of the reasons why I loved it. The voice actors for Sho, Mizuki, Tetsuro, Agito, ZX-Tole, Guyot (obey the hair!), and Enzyme were my absolutely fantastic! Tom Fahn did a wonderful job with Sho. The emotion he put into the character made him very believable. I also get a gargantuan case of the feels when ever Melissa Fahn calls out to Sho as Mizuki. Whenever I read the Guyver manga Steven Blum is always the voice that plays out in my mind for Agito. I will admit that …

I been currese about this for some time, how big an impact has Guvyer had (I'm willing to be more than it ever gets credit for) and how many parodies, ripoffs, homages of inspired bys are their out their. Even odd things that could just be coincidence. Guyver itself was inspired by a lot of things such as Super Sentai, Alien (it even beat the Alien franchise to the punch on ancient aliens) and other manga like Baoh and possibly to some degree Devilman (the two series have a lot in common). Hi Folks, I've been following this forum for a while and absolutely love it! As a fellow long term Guyver fan, I thought I'd share with you, what appears to be Guyver playing cards that I've managed to collect, some of which I picked up with the old Max factory BFC pre-painted vinyl model kits, that required assembly. Is anyone else in possession of such cards?

Why didn't the Guyver franchise ever get as popular as Bleach, Attack on Titan, or Dragon Ball Z? Everyone loved those shows, so where did Guyver fail to deliver as far as the 2005 anime was concerned? I mean, I really do blame the audience for not giving the franchise the chance and opportunity that it deserved. People are very picky and judgmental when it comes to their entertainment. I mean "what went wrong with Guvyer?" because anytime I talk to any anime fan, they've never heard of it. They're ask if I'm asking them if they've watched "Macguyver" and I'm like "Noooo. Guyver, it's a manga /anime franchise." and they're like "Nope, never heard of it."

I think it was a year ago or so that I was trying to make a game pitting the Guyver and Tekkaman Blade just for fun and to help me improve on pixel art, well I unfortunately I was not able to do it like I wanted because university study got in the way and for me that was my top priority as well as working for a local game development team for experience but that is all going to change, I finished my studies (for now, I finished my degree but I plan on continuing on my studies once I move to california on february hopefully) and I plan to do this little project as a way to increase activity on this site, meaning I will be very active from now on. Hey guys, currently in talks with one of the model/practical effects guys that worked on the Guyver 2 Dark Hero Movie, in regards to him making a replica mask. Obviously its going to be pretty high quality so its not cheap, he said he would be willing to do it but would need about 8 people to commit. New topic for me, don't know if anyone has touched on it or if I haven't looked for it here enough. Does anyone happen to know if, and where, you can read scanlations of the Guyver novels online, w/o having to pay for it? i think it was recently asked at the Max Factory anniversary show if there would be a 2nd tv series, to which the reply was - no. which i am wondering if it is just because Takaya doesnt want to work on it at the moment or at all, or if it is a lack of belief in the franchise to do so by the relevant companies? regaredless if a TV series wasnt viable i wonder if an OVA series would be??
