An interview was posted with Yoshiki Takaya, Max Watanabe and Yoshihito Kobayashi about the upcoming (very expensive) 1/6th scale Guyver 1 figure. https://animageplus.jp/articles/detail/54325/1/1/1 Nothing is said about the manga sadly. During the interview, even Takaya thinks it might be a bit too expensive... But the idea that Max Watanabe wants to make figures from Dark Hero of the Guyver and Guyver Zoanoid? That is a pretty neat!

Volume 6 plot: Mr Odigari and his team are introduced who are continunig Professor Yamaura's rebelllion from within Cronos' Relics Point. the live relic resonates with the Zoalords on site Guyot, Balcas and Murakami. Archanfel is introduced aswell as the rest of the 12 zoalords and Guyot revealed as a traitor..tut tut tut. Who do you think the real antagonists are? Going back and reading has changed my mind on quite a few things. Most of the Zoalords aren't exactly bad guys. Purgstall, Shin, Yentsui, Waferdanos, and Caerleon aren't particularly evil, and are actually quite good. Chronos has actually made the world a better place, the main argument to that is was it really worth pulling off an X-Day? As for who I view as the real bad guys, it would have to be the 3 rogue Zoalords (the 2 left), Guyot, Valcuria (unfortunately), and Agito. I view Shizu and the Libertus (who are loyal to her) as good guys who just happen to be in league with Agito. What does everyone else think?

Hey guys, currently in talks with one of the model/practical effects guys that worked on the Guyver 2 Dark Hero Movie, in regards to him making a replica mask. Obviously its going to be pretty high quality so its not cheap, he said he would be willing to do it but would need about 8 people to commit. Thought i would post here first, see if any of you were interested.

#12 - VIZ - Desperate! - Chuang Yi - the prelude to pursuit - Advocacy - i love this chapter! action and a little bit of drama. Murakami doesnt have his oav triangular baralled Max Factory Zoanoid Buster though just a normal 'freedom arms' revolver, thus cant blow holes in zoanoids. strange that the 'freedom arms' inscription is shown in chuang yi but not in the Viz version. Sho realises he can use his head sensors to search for people/ zoanoids for the first time. Murakami tells Sho hes protecting mankind aswell as his friends. so no pressure.

so after years of kind of wanting this i went and found one that was priced only twice as much as its worth rather than the one priced at the standard 3 times what its worth!! its great! the only thing is i feel lied to by the picture on the back as it is not articulated . if i had the money, time and could be bothered at the moment then i would love to cut one up and customise it over a 1/6 / 12'' articulated figure to make it moveable. but alas i cant see it ever happening!! heres a comparison shot of it next to a max factory BFC G1 next the 'special version ' vol.21 tankobon....

Since the whole spectrum fiasco means that the scans aren't going to be posted on the site anymore, I would like to request that the collected volumes - once they've been compiled, I'm not particularly fussed about the individual chapters, since they're short enough that I can read them online without risking eyestrain and headaches - be available on request by email. As a precaution, I would suggest that we reinstate the password used on the old download page: the one relating to what was in the actual volumes themselves, and where that was, so that the person asking for the file could prove that they had the actual volume, first.

well nearly finished this model just some highlights and lacquer to finish then the base . I had to mix the colours to get he right shade of purple/blue but turned out well i think.

Has anybody recently looked at the Guyver wiki its the best source of guyver info i have seen anywhere alot of hard work has been put in by Ryuki but most people just jump straight to the forum to check out new posts.Im helping Ryuki to try and get merchandise page completed.i have now upload all the chinese Daran manga covers and and the Italian Star comic covers except for three which were in one of my last posts. I've long wondered about guyver 2f, and I remembered the doctor's assistant aparese boats in Volume 3, Guyver, Do not know if they are the same woman but after all pole where memories never mention the name of this girl well you are saying?

I was wondering if there were more recent images of Shizu from the manga that could be suitable for use as an avatar at another site. I tried to use the one that I used here, but it didn't work so well. I'm leaning towards the image of her used in the "cast of characters" page from when Guyver is published in Shonen Ace/Compilation volumes (Cast of Characters for Volume 16 onwards to present), or any newer image of Shizu that's similar. I started rewatching the 2005 series again today and got to thinking. What would happen if: a) The host's head was severed when not bio-boosted? and b) When activating a Guyver unit, what would happen if the host was killed (let's say cut in half) while the 'tentacles' were still wrapping around him?

You know. I'm thinking maybe zoalords had something to do with religion in society in Guyver. Not that its mentioned. But lets say if Christianity and other religions existed in Guyver. Would it have something to do with Alkanphel? I figured its only natural for him to play as a deity and tell humans what to do seeing as they weren't zoanoids and they came to worship him. They would see him as god or as a god. After all. The zoanoids worshiped him so much that they built a temple around him. So I'm just thinking. Maybe he went around and started a bunch of religions with humanity before going into hibernation and after he made his fellow zoalords who probably went around …

So in Guyver. Who has always been your favorite Guyver villain? I didn't add the Zoalord Sin because he doesn't seem like he's an actual villain because he's more or less have helped Sho. Mine is Richard Guyot. Because he's relentless and arrogant as well as ambitious for more power.

I was just wondering could Lisker actually access the full scope of the guyvers abilities? While we don't see much of him in most continuities in the 2005 series he has a lot more screen time yet he never once uses the Pressure Cannon or the Sonic Buster. Infact he seems to have been taken off guard when Agito used the cannon against him.

Do you ever think they would do a remake of the movies? I'm thinking maybe Michael Bay in the far or near future? If he decided to remake the version with Sean as the Guyver. He'd probably have Megan Fox play as Mizuki and Shia Labeouf play as the Guyver. Something like that since he's doing stuff like Transformers, horror files like Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elmstreet, and not to mention Ninja Turtles. Thoughts?
