eh, as a fan of Berserk I'm getting use to series which go on hiatus for a long time. I'll probably still be waiting for both series to finish a decade from now when I'm in my 30's.

There is the possibility that Takaya simply needs a year out to decide story and character elements, design and finalize where everything is going, not to mention he could also be working on a new VDF as well as everything else.

Still wish he'd give us some clue as to what he's doing, just to break the ice at least.

There's also speculation that Imakarum is Apollyon, which leaves Barcas, Shin and Galenos. Barcas and Galenos are the only 2 who's Zoaforms we are yet to see.

I never considered Imakurum could be Apollyon. It would make sense since characters with hidden identities usually aren't introduced unless we know who they are prior to putting on a mask. It adds more impact when the mask comes off otherwise its just a dude in a mask. 

Although part of me really wants Apollyon to be a creator. I want to see what their race is like and understand their thought process for what they did on earth.

 

This months cover. I don't see any mention of Guyver, next months cover preview is again the same big boobed blond character.

It's been so long. If I didn't have such a good memory I would've forgotten what's going on in the series already.

I haven't been here in about a year. I'm shocked there hasn't been any more chapters. Now i'm just throwing out a fantasy here but what if there has been no news because he's been working on a second season of the anime? long shot i know but one could dream, and it's better than thinking something has happened to him or has some kind of issue.

Wish there was someway to contact him or someone to find out what's up.

The dreams I've had about guyver and the things I have imagined as a result of guyver are all so much better than anything yoshiki takaya can give us. so I don't really care so much at this point.

I still think the biggest kicker in all of this is the fact that the very last we saw of that lazy tosser is when he said "I really gotta get a move on with the manga and bring it to it's climax" in that interview.

His focus is surely elsewhere at the moment. The manga should be his top priority I feel. He may redeem his self once the serialisation continues though (optimistic, I know). Who knows? Any information from him would be appreciated though, he shows a lack of respect for the fans by keeping up in the dark I feel, that is what upsets me, not the waiting. If I knew there is was a plan, I'd be happy to wait

Well that is certainly disappointing. Is there any way for us fans to specifically write him a letter, asking him the details of his masterplan (assuming he has one).

i think Bren and Sully have already looked into contacthing him personally, but found no such way. i recall Bren even messaging the publisher, but got no clues as to when it will continue.

Aye that I did. As expected, despite me messaging them in Japanese, I got no reply at all.

I think, if Takaya just said "Sorry but I'm gonna be busy for a year", I wouldn't mind in the slightest. It's just that he and Kadokawa are being totally silent and not even letting us know what's going on. 

That's what annoys me. If he cared about his fanbase, he would reach out in some way. He doesn't though. There's no defending the guy, he should say something. Period.

I just find it amazing how he is basically completely off the grid (so to speak) when it comes to the internet.

Would love to know why he doesn't use social media.
