let's figure out how things work. whether we're coming up with theories for how our favourite characters do what they do, or talking about real life science and belief systems, we can talk in here.
There is a specific rules for this forum, inside. Read them.
I think it goes without saying you have to have an open mind.
If your mind is closed or you are devoutly faithful to your own beliefs it is advisable to skip this area.
This place is a discussion board.
If you show a repeated refusal to listen to others views, it ceases to become discussion. You will then be barred from this area.
So discuss your ideas, think up new possibilities, be creative and have fun!

I been following Guyver for a long time and I understand how almost all the powers of the zoanoids, zoalords and guyvers work but theirs one power I can't fully rap my mind around, gravity control attacks. I don't mean attcks like Guyot's Gravity Crusher or Black Hole' those I can easily understand. I'm talking more about attacks like the Pressure Cannon, Gravity Bullets and Gravity Halo. I have a rough idea how some of these power work but I was hoping someone would be able to give me a better understanding of them. P.S. I have read the data files but I find them rather vague on these types of powers.

Yeah, I know I haven't been around in a long time. But, this is a question that's been bugging me. Now, due to the difference of laws in different universes, some beings show a potential to withstand the weapons of a Guyver Unit. So, I want to bring some of my questions up to get some opinions. If U have a question that you would like answered, feel free to use this thread for it, as long as it relates to the topic at hand. And I put this in the Science section due to how science might play a role in some of these answers. Question 1 In relation to DC Comics, could a Guyver's Megasmasher or even a Giga Smasher vaporize Superman, Supergirl and/or Bizarro? …

So I've developed new questions regarding the old dino's and their lost traits. Here's a question: Do you think dino's could regenerate lost limbs like lizards do today? =)

i see a lot of technological and scientific advances being made. its funny that a lot of the time these scientists are interviewed and are always citing start rek as inspiration and that they grew up watching star trek. now thats all well and good but what i want to know is why has everyone seemed to forget the philosophy shown in star trek?? we have all these scientific advances but to what end?? we still have people starving and we still have other unneccesary BS going on that could be helped by new technologies... with great power comes great responsibility. so what we may have warp drives etc. whats the good of exploring space ( / time) if we are going…

I posting it here since I think it belongs here, anyways I'm doing this thread to discuss something that I just found in the internet and it is the finding of a humanoid body in 2003 in a remote Atacama dessert in Chile, its existence was not known until 2009 and then studied in spain, further studies were made by another team by 2012 and now they are showing what they have found so far, just to let you guys know, this thing is not a hoax based on the findings they have made although further research is needed to find out its origins what it is interesting is that the specimen is apparently lived 6 -8 years old and yet it is no more than 6 inches long. I will give the lin…

http://tremault.wordpress.com/2013/03/25/religion-codified-replacement-for-lost-culture/ These days we see a lot of conversions to new religions and we see a lot of people following particular religions, but is this a sincere decision or do these people seem to pick and choose the religion that seems to offer the ‘best bits’? There are many people who do discover a religion and it resonates with their soul, but how much of this is ‘finding the true god’ and how much of this is ‘finding the code that resonates with the self’? In many ways, the person + religion marriage, says more about that person than it says about the religion, wouldn’t you agree? s…

We've definately seen the Guyver take handgun bullets, but I wonder how much it can from real weapons? I think Dragon Skin body armor can provide a good example of what the Guyver could probably take.

I like this quote as I do not agree with the 'generally accepted' idea of heat death. It offends me that programs come on TV describing this 'heat death' as a fact, as an inevitability. when they don't even understand what dark matter etc is yet? how can they possibly cite this garbage as if it's a done deal? http://www.thenakedscientists.com/forum/index.php?topic=24486.0

This video shows birds in the wild, on an island 2000Km away from mainland. It's interesting. An eye opener. I never would have expected to find this. <iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/video/embed?video_id=489518334448906" width="1280" height="720" frameborder="0"></iframe>

What can I say, the man makes great videos. How many times has scifi shown us the interior of a nuclear reactor? Since we deal with a lot of scifi on this board, this should be interesting to many: I'm amazed at how messy it is. It reminds me of a couple of other places I've worked.

This is something that has interest me a lot for a while since the day I was told of these 2 theories for those who don't know the Uncanny Valley is an Hypothesis used in robotics and 3d animation where human replicas look and act almost human but not perfectly usually creating a sense of revultion, there are 2 ends of that valley one where the replicas are stylized replicas and in the other end is where we have yet to achive is totale realisim where you can't tell the difference if it is real or not. Then there is the singularity which is a bit hard for me to explain but from what I uderstand is a theory of the point where artificial intelligence can reach beyond human…

first off please forgive any bliding mistakes as i wasnt even going to write this! Ryuki's post promted me to do it!!! and my research has been minimal! Today i was messing around with my (dusty) Guyver Gigantic max factoy figure and i looked inside the clear plastic green power amps and noticed that inside each one is a visible sphere, obviously this is different to the unit G but it made me wonder if each amp has its own gravity conrtoller inside?? is this a find? or me just being forgetful or slow?? looking at the vdf although they are called energy amps, it seems that really they are extra gravity controllers that are amplified by the surrounding orb, and seeing …
