Can you believe the USA is wanting to colonize Mars in 25-30 years? And they say their going to start sending people in 2025? 200,000 people wan' t to leave their families behind and sit for 2 years in a Mission Lander, Nasa's new space shuttle just to go to a permanent vanguard Mars colony. I have one word for that. Stupid. Its suicide. You can't do jack sh*t on Mars. What do they plan to do when they go to their little Mars Station that sits on red rocks? What then? Go outside? What if something terrible happens like some sort of devastating storm that destroys the colony's life support systems? Wait, we see the president on CNN or NBC issuing some sort of apology f…

This may be a topic that has been covered before, but ive been thiking alot about the fear of death and how my own expirience with the fear has changed. So i wanted others opinions on it. Basically, i used to be Christian, believed in heaven, hell, but always entertained the possibility that there may be nothing after death. and that uncertainty between the three possibilities made me fear death becuase i couldnt controll what came after it. But i lost my faith recently, entierly, and now my views of death have changed drastically. Now, i dont fear it at all because its not the possibility anymore its a certainty. After death, there is nothing (so say my views, yours …

A lot of people say that animal testing is cruel and should be banned, but how else would we test products for safety? I feel like more humans would die if certain products were not tested on animals first. Are animal lives worth as much as human lives? What are your thoughts on this debatable subject? I'll tell you what I think, I give more value to human lives. I support testing on animals. We shouldn't torture animals in the process. We should make animal testing as less painful as possible. But we should strive for better medicine and medical treatment.

  10. In your opinion, should countries be allowed to have nuclear weapons? In my opinion....no country including the US should have a right to Nuclear Weaponry. I don't think anyone should have nuclear weapons. Reason being...nuclear weapons are toxic, its not good for us or the Earth seeing as Radiation destroys and poisons everything. Look at what is going on with Chernobyl. They had a meltdown almost 30 years ago.... and the fallout is still there. Radiation doesn't dissipate. It stays. The fallout is still going on for the next 20-30,000 + years according to documentaries and other studies stated by scientists. So I think all nukes need to be disposed. Its not…

Is taking a life ever justified? If so, where is the line? In my opinion.....I think if you're defending yourself than that is acceptable. But I think if you're just killing for sick pleasure, money, tying loose ends or revenge / closure than I'd have to say no.

How do you, and if applicable, your partner feel about PDA? (public displays of affection) Although I don't mind it. If someone doesn't want to see it. I always supposed just not to look. My wife is against it though because she feels people will view her badly for it. So we don't do it in public.

Do you believe in ghosts? Why or why not? Not sure on this myself. Its possible. I've seen things I can't explain. But I'm not going to just say that I knew it was a ghost. I had a pretty wild imagination as a young teen. 14 years old. My father owned this really old house that was built in 1818. He had it remodeled somewhat. I saw this woman in really old fashioned dress one evening around 6pm walk past me as if she were there. My father was out late I remember. I was very curious...so I followed her half way before realizing she had disappeared into the guest rooms. So I stood there outside the guest room and asked if she could come out. No answer, no one had re…

Okay, so I am a very socially odd person, my years of being bullied and shunned has turned me into a person who suffers from extreme anxiety in social settings. Especially when I'm around a girl I find attractive. For whatever reason, throughout my life it has been incredibly difficult for me to find a girlfriend. I've literally gone decades without one. Sometimes of my own free will but most of the time I'm rejected, friendzoned or given an excuse. This has caused me to be very self-conscious of how I look. Thinking I'm unattractive or ugly. I thought that about myself for years and still sort of do. When my most previous ex would say things like: "You look sexy." or "Da…

Is cheating ever okay? For the most part no. I think its immoral. If you don't want to be with the person, no matter how complicated. Leave them. Break up. I don't believe in lying to someone's face, because some people almost always find out. I think the thing with cheating is that its the normal thing people do in society to have sex out side of a relationship or marriage. I think if you're so inclined to go out and have sex with other people or pursue a relationship outside of a marriage, than perhaps some people haven't realized that they're not happy with who they're with no matter how many times they convince themselves that they are.

I've always wondered this, I've never had the privilege to read any of his books, but is H.P. Lovecraft's deities, old gods and so on based off of actual religious, pagan or demonic entities/gods or are they all created from his own imagination? I always thought it was interesting but the sources on his creatures seems limited to describing them within his own universe. I'm not really looking for more info with regards to their existences within his own stories, but anything referring to them outside of them. Like their inspiration or where he got the ideas for them. This may seem like an odd topic to many, but I actually really enjoy studying religions, belief system…

Whatever.....they apparently have civil marriage confused with religious marriage. The two are very different in terms of definition. I'm not sure that they understand what a marriage is. Marriage is different by definition with many cultures and societies. For some people, it is considered a religious activity and to other cultures it is completely different. Basically, in my opinion, marriage means different to other people. I think anyone should have that right because marriage is different in every country and with people. Here is a great definition that I found on the wiki.

  21. So, is it possible Sho and Agito's thinking and minds are working at an accelerated rate like the rest of them while the Guyver is equipped? I mean everything else is enhanced, so I'm thinking maybe its possible their minds are as well? Reason for asking... I was thinking that Sho had no battle experience what so ever. Yet when the Guyver was equipped, he was able to learn how to use it at an accelerated rate and learn how to fight and think in strategic ways. He was able to kill off zoanoids and as those zoanoids as people had state of the art combat training as assassins and as soldiers, especially the hyper zoanoids it seemed like he went from zero to hero wit…

I have noticed throughout my life that certain people thrive on drama or just stirring up crap for the hell of it. My family has a policy: do not cause drama in the house on purpose. The reason: my ex-stepmother and the BS we went through with her and her kids. She would pick fights with my dad for no reason, and even brought up events that happened months ago that no one cares about anymore. Every time my brother and I got something new, she'd throw a fit or spend bookoos of cash to get her kids something even better than what we got. At one point, we couldn't even get snack items without her taking them and either stashing them herself or giving them to her kid…

Ever been in this position? Sure you have. We all have. I honestly cannot stand it when I'm at work or in public. Especially if its someone I personally don't like. They do one thing, They open their mouth. Its not who they are that turns me off. Its what comes out of their mouth. I've had old people that you wouldn't believe are obnoxious. Sure, lets talk about religion and politics. Lets sit and insult someone's sexual orientation or race. Lets sit around and talk smack about everyone. This is where the valuable words of please shut the hell up comes into my book. Some people are just weird. I've listened to people talk and debate politics and how thing…
