Heres a couple rather funny videos i found while browsing YouTube. This had me in stitches http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1uwOL4rB-go And this one is funny for all the wrong reasons http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAyRaO9_-60

  2. Do you believe everything happens for a reason? Not everything. But most of the majority of things happen for a reason. I believe in a God or higher power. I believe that we're not always in control of our lives. Even though there are atheists and people of other religions who believe differently. But I don't think I'm in control of my life. I think someone else is.

  3. I believe it to an extent until it starts getting you into trouble with the wrong people. Although I don't think being honest 24/7 is always the best for your mental health. Often friends and family ask me to keep a secret and if I were super honest, than I don't think I would feel it right to keep secrets as they are a form of lie. However, I'm half and half. I decide whether the truth is appropriate or not for the situation. So I will say it varies based on the situation.

Do you believe in love at first sight? Thoughts? For the most part no. I believe there is a such thing as lust at first sight before a relationship begins and after. I think one needs that physical attraction to come first before you feel emotionally attached to the person you're pursuing. If there is such a thing as love at first sight. I imagine it could be associated with a parent seeing their newborn for the first time maybe which has nothing to do with a relationship. I think there are different forms of love. But the one associating with someone we're attracted to.....no. I'm sure its easy to develop feelings for a person but I think the part of true love ha…

Do you? I do. Every day several times a day. People say you can get arthritis cracking your knuckles. So I still do it all of the time. I've seen old people doing it and they seem fine.

From where I come from, this question is rather strange, as I grew up in a place where manual transmission is a standard, and automatic transmission are more geared towards luxury vehicles. I learned to drive using stick shift, and have been driving so almost half my life. Of course right now I drive a CVT because of issues with my knee. Not to mention this is a godsend during hour long traffic jams. There are less vehicles coming out now with manual transmission. So, I was wondering, in your part of the world, what type of transmission are most commonly used? And what would be your preference?

Do you have several friends on here and other forums that you visit? Despite the question, no you don't have to share specifics. I tend to be a stranger at some or most. Here, I find this forum pretty interesting. Small but some what active in its own way. I do have a friend at another forum, if I can call him that. He talks about his journal and his travels quite often. He likes to fly helicopters and spend time at a club that he owns over in Maine, or so he says. I never can be sure what people tell me over the net, especially some of the other Anons. People tend to be dishonest. Some times to the point where it can be a bit much at times. But yes, I have some…

This is something I've been playing around with for a little while, so I thought I'd start up a thread where I post something nostalgic, and see how many people here remember it. To start things off, let's begin with something I'm sure most of you will know... So...do you remember?

Do you or have you ever slept on the couch? I love my couch. Its comfy and all I have to do is roll on over and fall asleep. I feel as I lay down on my couch that I begin to sink into the cushions and so I sink into sleeping. Its comfortable and safe, and if something happened, it'd be more or less a couch pillow waiting to smother me.

K-9 will make an appearance on the new Doctor Who series, starring David Tennant as the tenth doctor encarnation. Though by appearances the years haven't been that good to it. Oh well, the good/interesting news is that K-9 will soon star in its own comedy sci-fi series which will be a combination of CG animation and live action. Along with a updated look. Now if only we can convince Sony to resurrect their Aibo line and revamp it into the K-9 model

Any fans in here? I am, and not ashamed of it, I was always hesitant on watching it cause I try to avoid watching popular things just because everybody else watches it but after giving in to my curiosity i must say i was speechless on how well the writing is, at least in the 2005- ongoing version, I have not watched the old series yet. I usually don't like series or movies that involve time travel cause most of the time it is filled with plotholes and stuff but in this series which it's main thing IS time travel? it does everything in it's power to fill out any gap that they have made. I just love the characters as well and not just the Doctor, the companions are always l…

That's right, you saw the title I remember hearing about an earlier live action version of Dragon Ball having been made in Japan, I can't rememeber the title they gave it then. Yes, they are making a live action Dragon Ball movie now and things look sketchy as of now but here's the site to prove it is gonig to exist. http://www.comicbookmovie.com/news/articles/4568.asp

I know quite a number of people who aparently dont have, or cant remember having dreams. Personaly I dream every night, but forget most of them through out the day unless they are especialy vivid or distinctive. For me the theme is usualy based on something that has passed through my mind during the day, but I've not spent too much time thinking about. The most common elemelts used to be the building of my old bording school. That and a strange lack of people. I almost always feel like there is only small population. I guess it feels sort of like a film where you are only concentraited on a few characters and not much outside their world seems to exist. There have been a…

english is a very awkward language. every week when i teach english, we have various exercises going over different grammar, verb inflections and all that. most native english speakers do not realise how tricky it can be. it's when your mind is working with a different language, that is when it becomes apparent how contrary english actually is. a lot of people who may have english as their second language, are very self conscious about their ability. even though a lot of the time, their english is better than many native english speakers. an interesting fact for you here... I can not tell the difference between lend and borrow. it's not because i'm stupid or lazy…
