A phobia is a type of anxiety disorder, defined by a persistent and excessive fear of an object or situation For me, I suffer from Lepidopterophobia/Mottephobia I.E. I have an irrational fear of moths and to a lesser extent butterflies. This is both odd and annoying, as I find insects and arachnids very intreasting. Think that part of it stems from the fact that while I like them, I'm not fond of them touching me. For example I hold an ant or small spider on my hand no problem but am totally against anything else touching me even the likes of a caterpillar. I'm not sure how many people here like the Appleseed series (manga, OAV and/or new movies) but I just learned that a 26-episode TV series is in production for 2009. http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/20 ... ed-tv-show I only recently discovered Appleseed when I watched Ex Machina and the 2004 movie, but I'm loving it. The news of a TV series - and it sounds like it's going to be a prequel - makes me stupidly happy. Just wanted to share.

I saw this movie last Saturday and I thought it was ok. Not great, but not bad either. Funniest scene in the entire movie is when Lola beats er, whatshisname against the window when he dumps her.

Ok so yeah. I'm upset. Disney announced that they are going to close lucasarts. And instead if developing games they will license it out. That in itself isn't so bad, but they are also canceling current protects like 1313 and battle front assault.

Two new series have come to Adult Swim FMA and Ghost in the shell stand alone complex. To be honest I haven't watched Much G.I.S. but what I ahve seen of the series I like. Full Metal Alchemist on the other hand is in my opinion one of the best to come out this year. You get pretty much every thing you can ask for, great story, plot, comedy, action, and drama (drama is conflic for those of you who were going to throw in a cheap T.N.T. joke in there. You know who you are). Anywho my advice is to pick up these two series from the store as CN has made the decision to gear their programs towards the rugrats (and I don't mean the cartoon).

Has anyone else seen this? I saw it for free with my wife (her dad paid for the tickets). I thought the first half was pretty funny, the twist in it rather surprised me to say the least. I just wish the movie was longer than 93 minutes. Too short.

Saw the movie last night and was impressed with what Wheldon did with the movie. He kept true to the charecters and even kept the orginal cast for the movie. The show IMHO was very good becuase he made the chacters real and put together a bunch of realistic people who everyone could identify with with. I like the drama and I do like how he tied up most of the loose ends from when the series was ended. But there was some things I wished he would explain about some chacters. I would advise everyone here to see this move and get the series box set.
