Me and my friends were watching the show Skins from the UK, and we were getting confused about whether the kids were in high school or college. I also keep seeing in animes about how there are school entrance exams to seemingly get into high school.So, I wonder how school systems are set up around the world.

By the time most of you read this, it will be my birthday. I've now wasted 23 years on this planet. Go me.

Well everyone the fates have decided and it is now offical I'm getting married. I know that I should be happy and excided but some how I get the feeling that this will turn in to some sort of freak show. I'm not talking about marrage I'm talking about the wedding. Normally my girlfriend is against the hole girly-girl thing but for some reason I fear I fear greatly that this thing will go way over board. The only thing that gives me comfort in this whole thing is that this will most likely be the last time I have to see her family for some time. Well at least I hope so.

I wonder how many of you have seen the Ancient Aliens TV series on History 2? I watch it mostly just to watch something on TV. First off, I don't really believe in aliens, but with the origins of live, I do believe that anything is possible until we find out why we're actually here as we are, be it aliens, divine intervention, or simple evolution. But what is most striking to me is how similar a lot of the Ancient Alien theory stuff is to certain plot elements of Bio-Booster Armor Guyver. Wow, I honestly didn't think this place was still around. I had assumed it was shut down after the hacker attacks. Apparently I was wrong... But yeah, I'm back, more or less. I feel as though I've kind of fallen out of the Guyver loop, but I do have a new fic idea that's been buzzing around my skull for the past few months, so maybe being back will inspire some work out of me, even if it's just in art form. Seems like there was a small leak, and Fox just decided to release the trailer anyway! I don't know about everyone else... But at the time, the first Independence Day movie was minblowing in that there had not been a humans vs aliens movie like it at the time. i went to see it in the theaters 6 times. I highly doubt this one will have the same impact as the first, as there have been a lot of big spectacle movies since then, but I'll still go see it, if only because of the first movie.

Get these in your anime collection now. They have a great story and music (I can listen to the battle music over and over again ) plus the animation is wonderful having both normal and CG elements blended together beautifuly. I repeat buy them NOW!.

I just thought I'd share the new addition to my family. Samsung 56" DLP LCD projection HDTV Granted, it isn't plasma, or "true" LCD, but with an HD source it still looks bloody amazing... and the fact that it's freaking HUGE doesn't hurt either. As a little something for Halloween I decided to talk about who I feel was the ultimate slasher. Now I know what your thinking, Jason Voorhees. This is something I've noticed in several animes, predominantly in the various Gundam series and/or other mechas. That is, whenever the Middle East is portrayed, the natives of the land are seen as nothing more than a bunch of resistance fighters. They're also portrayed in a Western like manner though. Fighting alongside women, treating everyone with respect and dignity, and everyone has equality. It's like they're really nothing more than westerners who just so happen to be in the Middle East during the conflict. So, Daredevil Season 2 has dropped on Netflix. Thoughts? I just finished it this morning due to having to work all weekend. Bring on Luke Cage and Iron Fist! ...and possibly a Punisher series now that we know how great he was.

I just bought this on dvd and I enjoyed it but, it felt kinda dumb even for the Friday the 13th movies. I was bugged how silly it seemed to have all these college age people talking scientific when it sounds so fake. And that android chick... I dunno about her.
