So, anybody following this? I've known for a long time that this came from a light novel, but actively chose to ignore it as I know I'll love it. They adopted this into Manga and eventually an anime series was created. Well, I'm currently reading the manga and the light novels, but have yet to see the anime. So far, I liked the first story arc where the main protagonist was treated poorly, that was the fun part. It started getting predictable when the status of the protagonist started improving. What do you guys think about this series?

The cast looks cool, but has anyone seen the new suit? It looks like rubber with spandex showing through. I like the black glass mask (with red eye line), and his gun; but the rest just feels like a horrible batman rip off. And seriously, letting him keep a human hand? Please tell me an actor just took a glove off for a second. Hopefully the movie makes up for the crappy costume

Out of all the animes any of you have watched, which do you think is the saddest? You always are expecting the character to get back up any minute and be full of life but then you can't believe they're gone. Warning spoilers for some animes! I personnally think Wolfwood from Trigun, Spike from Cowboy Bebop, Hughes from Fullmetal Alchemist, Kiku, Kyuzu, Gombei, and Haihachi from Samurai 7, Kimishima from s-cry-ED, Lockon Stratos from Gundam 00. That's all i can think of for now. Any opinions?

With only 5 more month until the end of Shinkenger we have now got some stuff (a.k.a. rumors) for next years' Super Sentai. Here's what's known so far. As always, take these with a grain of salt.

When I was a 10 years old. This novel ( written by Steve Perry) was very popular and I really liked it. In fact people had been saying that they were going to make a movie on it. I've always enjoyed the many novels written by Steve. Alien Vs Predator is an excellent example. Steve Perry is very talented writer. One day I hope that we can see Shadow's of The Empire as a prequel film to Return of The Jedi. I found Prince Xizor's role to be very unique and how he wanted to upstage Darth Vader.

Ok so we have a realses date for Toho's upcoming' new Godzilla and our first look at this Godzilla's new design. It's realses date is very interesting to me because it was around that time of year that Manga UK released Godzilla vs Mothra: Battle for Earth all those years ago which was the first Godzilla movie I ever saw. Kind of reminds me of the first 3 Godzilla suits from Godzilla, Godzilla Raids again and King Kong vs Godzilla with that more elongated, more reptilian head. Also this Godzilla is going to be bigger the the 2004 one! Also that's a lot a teeth!

So, I've kinda been on a Digimon V-pet kick lately, and Bandai made an announcement regarding both Digimon and Kamen Rider.

Title says it all really, one of the greatest mecha series is finally getting a proper Blue-Ray release in February next year. Only downside is that it seems to be Region 1 only at the minute which kind of sucks if your outside the US with no multiregional disc player and I ain't buying one just for one series. That said the series can be found online but I'm the type who proffers physical copy's of everything when possible. In other news Super Robot Wars T is on schedule for next years.

In light of the recent events of Secret Wars and the announcement by Marvel that Miles Morales is to be the main Spider-man in the renewed 616, I have to ask... are you a Parker purist or a Morales mark? Does anyone like the Spongebob anime?

A new season is upon us, and thus a hoarde of new shows. So, what are you watching? Surprisingly, there is a few series this season that I actually am watching. Majority are mecha shows ( 3 of em! Wow!), but one is not. Valvrave the Liberator - Sunrise's mecha show for the season. At the time of writing I think only episode 1 is out, but so far it seems decent. Another " Young boy ends up in powerful mecha" series. Definately more on the serious side of the spectrum, but not Grim/Dark... so far. Has anyone been watching the new series? I really enjoyed the previous episodes, and this one looks to be another great instalment to the series. From what I make out, The original Rintaro stayed in a beta time libe, instead of going back to totally fix his messing around with the time lines. I can't wait to see where it goes.

I think studios are jealous that something is coming out this week... A trailer for Star Trek Beyond has been released! I think it's interesting that the ship might not play a large part in this one. A bold move if true.
