This is a fun little manga and ove I came across that reminds me a little of Guyver. Its basic plot is about a teenager Ikuro Hashizawa who is kidnapped and turned into a Baoh, a bioweapon with super human strength and other abilities such as firing a corrosive substance, by the Doress Laboratory. He escapes with the help of Sumire, a 10-year-old psychic girl. Professor Kasuminome, head scientist at Doress, sends various assassins and monsters to try and kill Ikuro, in means of stopping the Baoh virus from spreading and infecting the world. saw this on Jefusion, Toei has now officially trademarked the name of the next sentai series which is named Ressha Sentai Tokkyuger translated as "Vehement Car Taskforce Special Express Ranger" it is said that this season's theme will be Trains. What do you guys think? I'm not that interested personally but it is still waaaaay too early to judge, all I can say is that if this theme turns out true then a Den-O crossover will most likely happen and I frankly had enough of that thank you. So what does everyone think of this updated version of Ninja Storm 3 coming out? Are you excited? What are your expectations for this game? Is there anything in particular that you want to see included in the overall package?

So I believe I've talked about Killer Instinct before and how I wished they would of remade it. Well it's no secret they have gone ahead with it, and the remake it's supposed to come out some time this year. This isn't brand spanking new, news I simply haven't gotten around to posting it here. From the graphics and details this new remake looks amazing, to me atleast. And I really can't wait to try it out! Hehe love to see Ryu go up against Jago now! Here is the E3 trailer. wow, I just realised something. Akibaranger seems to be communicating this very issue. the danger of the death of tokusatsu and otaku due to various other things such as fashion etc. could it be that this is a real issue in japan? that the people who used to watch tokusatsu into their twenties and thirties are no longer taking an interest in otaku things and are instead spending their money on fashion etc? sorry, this is way off topic. if you think this is something that could be discussed more then let me know and I'll split this post into a new topic. yeah i think we could rant a bit on this topic! ok starting a new thread for this …

Greetings! I was wondering if anyone would happen to have some recommendations for some Gamera films? I am a huge Tokusatsu fan and have been trying to expand my growing taste. I would also appreciate any other Toku film recommendations.

A new season is upon us, and thus a hoarde of new shows. So, what are you watching? Surprisingly, there is a few series this season that I actually am watching. Majority are mecha shows ( 3 of em! Wow!), but one is not. Valvrave the Liberator - Sunrise's mecha show for the season. At the time of writing I think only episode 1 is out, but so far it seems decent. Another " Young boy ends up in powerful mecha" series. Definately more on the serious side of the spectrum, but not Grim/Dark... so far. A new Ultraman mini series has been announced. Ginga is a part of Shin Ultraman Retsuden (an Ultraman clip show). The dark tokusatsu series Garo will be getting a new season which starts April 5th of this year. Well, after a very long time the Dragon Ball Z series is getting another movie and it is called Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods. The story takes place after the fight with Buu but before Pan is born, a new foe appears in the form of Bill the God of destruction who awakens after a long sleep to find out that Freezer has been defeated by a Saiyan warrior which triggers a memory of his that he was told that the legendary Super Saiyan God would defeat him, exited over this he heads out to earth to face the Z warriors and find the Super Saiyan God or a worthy opponent. im not sure this is worthy of a topic but it was just a thought i had... has anyone else noticed that Super sentai tends to use pyrotechnic/ firework type explosions where as kamen rider tends to use petrol/ gasoline??? i think its a good reflection on the tone of the series ... i.e super sentai is a bot more controlled and family friendly where as masked rider is a bit more unpredictable and edgy?? ?????????????????????????

Yeah, there was an anime of the same name but I am referring to more of it's original counterpart, the manga. I've heard a lot of people complain about the main character in Linebarrel, and it is true, the anime made the lead character way too annoying. But after reading the manga, you get to see the character develop. But I'm posting this not because of the characters, but because of the plot. I have to tell you that the main plot of the anime is completely different from the manga.
