Guyver

Not a Gigantic Guyver and certainly not a guyver xd. i am talking about a simple guyver. Can a simple guyver beat a zoalord or archanfel or someone like apollon? and if not, then what is the use of such weak form of guyver. Why not just launch into gigantic straight away. Doesn't the unit itself know that its base form is too weak.

I was looking at he two versions and it looks like the pink version has a damaged control medal. It could be just the moulds or the picture may look that way.

Hello guys. Long time no see. I stopped reading the manga around the time Guyot returned (and the whole Appolyon thing). Last time i checked there was a new policy regarding reading / obtaining the manga. Do you guys still work on it? Do you like latest chapters or has the manga lost its "magic" ?

So I bought volumes 29, 30, 31 and 32 in hopes of getting the translations for them. I saw a little while ago that you guys were doing a thing with pre-ordering and buying volumes. I'm not having much luck finding the page where everyone was posting their purchases. (Please tell me you didn't stop translating... That'd make me super sad and broke for no reason...) Where do I show my proof of purchase? And they haven't arrived yet, so I don't have any physical evidence to take pictures with. It might take a few more weeks. Is there some other way I can prove to you guys that I bought them? Also did this site start doing this with book 29 or 28…

I am not a big guyver buff but can someone confirm that this won't be a guyver ending no matter what happens. here we go : Guyver 1 gigantic exceed and guyver 3 gigantic take on archanfel. Battle ensues. They fight, kick, slash whatever. in the end, guyver 3 gigantic is holding archanfel from behind and begs guyver 1 gigantic exceed to hit both him and archanfel with the super mega giga megasmasher. Guyver 3 gigantic and archanfel get reduced to dirt. Chronos is gone, guyver 1 is the only one that remains. Happily ever after yada yada. The end. I haven't read much manga, is this sort of ending in the making or can it happen?

Okay. I know this sounds silly. But according to Sean Barker. Werewolves are zoanoids. From what Sean saw on the news and what he talked to Mizuki about. So does this mean that certain zoanoids are allergic to silver according to the myths associated with his comment in the Guyver 2: Dark Hero?

So when it comes to defense against a zoanoid or zoanoids. What kind of weaponry would be most useful against a zoanoid for someone that is human? So, I'm sure shot guns and small arms is out of the question. Something that uses armor piercing rounds?

Does anyone think that the Guyver is way too over powered? I do. Maybe not the user seeing as the user has to know how to use it or unlock certain abilities. But once the user transcends and somehow get's a gigantic and mastered Exceed mode, well....they've hit god mode.

Did anyone think Arlen Crane was one of the most interesting Zoanoid / Guyver other than Aptom? I honestly think that he decided to activate the damaged unit to either mutiny and take over Cronos or just preserve his career. Was it just me or did the zoalord heavily imply that something very bad would happen to him if he didn't capture Sean?

So, I'm going over G2:Dark Hero piece by piece. He's constantly nagging at Corey's head over things he already knows and he's pissing her off in the process. Sean has nothing to lose, so I don't know why he keeps playing stupid and asking for intel in which he already knows about from the first film. It almost seems as though the screen writers had no idea what kind of conversation Sean and Corey should have. What is silly is that he keeps pushing Corey over dumb questions about zoanoid skeletons and even more questions as of why her crew is secret about it and they have given him good reasons why they don't talk about it. I didn't know this.But he died right after he played in the 1991 film from open heart surgery at the age of 54. He was probably the only great actor in that film other than Mark Hamil. I will say despite some of the film's failures. David did play a good version of Richard Guyot in the movie although he was actually supposed to be portraying Fulton Barcas.

Literally. I rewatched Guyver(1991) and he comes off like a hot head at the beginning of the movie. He's got a short fuse and he's a bit immature. He's learning some form of martial arts and he literally can't spar. He's easily distracted, and often he's told to pay attention. So this Asian guy knocks him in the nose. Not to be a jerk, but to get his attention. Sean falls, down yells that he wasn't ready. Well, when you're in a real fight, you have to have an open mind that your opponent isn't going to give you the time of day. That's what Sean didn't get at the time. So, Sean...being a dick. Why doesn't Sho go after Dr. Barcus after the death of his father? Agito is. But I don't see Sho doing all that much. Maybe he doesn't care about revenge?

Seeing as the original film from the 90's got horrible reviews and how it was perceived as a Power Ranger knock off film than to those not familiar with the manga or the anime. Do you think it ruined things earlier on for the Guyver franchise?

How long does Gigantic last before it disengages and reverts the pilot back to default Guyver? Reason why I ask if Sho or Agito disperse too much energy, like using the Giga Smasher too many times can cause the Gigantic to disengage to recharge....or if the Gigantic takes too much damage and uses energy to repair itself during battle. During Agito's battle with Imakarum, he was conserving energy, and ended up disengaging the Gigantic to go finish Imakarum after he damaged his ZoaCrystal. Like Proto Zoalords, the gigantic has a time limit on how long the form lasts and how much energy they're able to use. Would it last 10-20 minutes based on the battle it…

I mean lately, Sho and Agito now have Nuclear and demi god like power through the Gigantics. This gives them the ultimate advantage as proven in the earlier chapters..... in the story where it's no longer relevant for the story to keep going seeing as none of the zoalords can keep up with them. Ok so since it's the 26th of the month, I went to the local bookstore to pick up Shonen Ace and, for the second time in the past 6 months, there was no Guyver. This is despite it saying last month that it would continue this month. I am so pissed at this bullshit that Shonen Ace are pulling now. So I have been browsing through your Guyver threads and well, they're all pretty old. And I am not about to start necroposting so I was wondering if it would annoy you to make several Guyver threads? I mean, not all at once but I just want to talk more about what I know and/or what's been happening in the manga. Also, I got so excited that I went ahead and read the raw scans of volume 31 and 32. I have to say it looks quite interesting! I sort of have the gist of what's going on based on what I know so far, but a few things do still confuse me. Oh well. Not much, but my idea of a Guyver video game would be based on Agito's Zeus Thunder Bolts and have it first person shooter circled around a non canon ex military character. Something like that, where you can use a variety of guns. I'm not sure about the location and not sure which zoalord. I haven't thought about it in that depth. Although using Guyver powers + Gigantic would make you imbalanced. Kind of like how Neo, Morpheus, and Trinity were too advanced for past Matrix games on the PS2.
