There have been several incarnations of the guyver released, which are listed here in (roughy) chronological order - The Manga (ie, Comic) - created, written and drawn by Yoshiki Takaya. Currently published monthly (?) in the Shounen Ace magazine in Japan, several chapters are then reprinted into Graphic Novels by Kadowaka Comics, each weighing in at roughly 200 pages. These books are currently into their 21st volume. The banner on the homepage of WarriorGuyver.com has artwork of the live action version of Guyver I. If anyone (particularly the person who put the banner together) can e-mail me or post that artwork separate from the banner and any other similar live action artwork from either movies then I would be VERY appreciative! If anyone can tell me what that artwork comes from (movie guide books, movie model kit boxes/inserts, etc.) then that would be great too!

So it's pretty much impossible for a Guyver video game to be made, I'd consider one ever happening breaking a law of physics. But that doesn't mean we can't play around with the idea right? So which developer would you want to handle this? What type of genre would you want? Me, I think Platinum Games (Bayonneta and Metal Gear Revengeance) could do a hell of a job. They are proficient at making epic action games, and can do gore just as good, two things Guyver is known for. So to me, a Guyver game would be a 3rd person hack n slah game, definitely rated M. So I have been browsing through your Guyver threads and well, they're all pretty old. And I am not about to start necroposting so I was wondering if it would annoy you to make several Guyver threads? I mean, not all at once but I just want to talk more about what I know and/or what's been happening in the manga. Also, I got so excited that I went ahead and read the raw scans of volume 31 and 32. I have to say it looks quite interesting! I sort of have the gist of what's going on based on what I know so far, but a few things do still confuse me. Oh well. It's been a week and we finally got some shots of the upcoming Guyver merch from the Shanghai Wonderfest 2025. No preorder dates yet, but the Titanomachia Guyver 1 and Guyver 3 kits are looking better, this time with a splash of color... But I don't think they are done with the armor on them just yet. Did anybody figure out why G-3 are going through all the trouble, hacking up chronos HQ all for a dead spaceship? If someone posted this before, I'm sorry i missed it. Here is how it goes, with the creation of Griselda and the libertus, the zeus army had gained an upper hand over chronos, but its still nowhere near the power big C has in command. But why not? Guyver 3 already has the 2nd best scienist Chronos has to offer, so what's missing? Its that ball shaped ship control metal. I recently bought a collection of old anime VHS off eBay (Akira, Patlabor, Genocyber, Urotsukidoji, etc.) including all the Manga Entertainment OVAs of The Guyver. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in me scanning the cover art for each volume, or did HQ copies already exist?

If I remember there being a supernatural, Demon/Angel comic on the inside of the old Guyver MANGA VHS boxes. I remember it having a very weird blend of art styles, anime/manga ish, real life stills and some western metal art thrown in if I remember rightly. My VHS's are in storage so I cant get to them easily to check. Am I'm I right or am I thinking of another Manga release? If so what was then name?

Hello J-L, I was wondering, had the 80s/90s series continued after 12 OVA, how would they have continued the story? The OVA series took some liberties with the original plot. I don't know if this is because the OVAs had overlapped the manga and so they had to invent their own narrative or what. As you all know, the remaining Hyper Zoanoid T5 members play a prominent part in Aptom's story, as well as the wider arc of the Guyver Gigantic. I always thought it a little curious how the Hyper Zoanoid T5 made a cameo in second intro to the OVAs, considering they were all dead at this point. The good news is most of it is done but the bad news is Takaya is taking a break till at least November. Though in a way that is good news since the last time he took a break we got the new anime series. So hopefully that is a sign that a second season is on its way. But this is also bad in that it leaves us with a cliff hanger since the chapters so far done for vol 24 end with Sho having regained the Gigantic from Agito only to face an incredibly large Zoalord. And the last panel shows the Gigantic powering up in a way we have never seen before. What does Takaya have in mind? Alright it's been ages since I've been able to get a hold of a copy of the guyver manga and I am so lost. The only thing I remember really happening is the gigantic coming into play and after that I'm lost. I know they've fought a couple of the zoalords and what not but what is the whole picture? If someone knows a site where I can get a general synopsis or where I can look at translated copies could you hook me up? Thanks a lot guys.

So what are all the story arcs within the story? Like the Mt. Minikami arc for example. Speaking of which, does that include the first portion of the story too? With Genzo, Guyver II and so on, before Sho arrived at Mt. Minikami?

i have just bought this book off ebay. i had it before but exwife misplaced it this time im gonna scan this whole book for safety. I miss doing the old vdf book and wondered if it could be a project . There are more pictures than text on most pages but as i cannot translate any of it it relays one certain people on the forum who may not have the time .

I used to think he was the enemy. Because he made Chronos and had a lot of people processed into zoanoids because that's how the Creators made him. However, he seems to be aware that there's a coup to have him killed by his own zoalords. He made Murakami into a glorified body guard after he died. And in one of the last manga issues. We see Archanfel hanging out with Mizuki and Tetsuru playing video games and chilling in a house on Silha. He also doesn't intervene between the fight with Apollon. So does this mean he's siding with Sho for the time being?

I found my old archived site from 2004. it's pretty much the ancestor of this site, it's where I first started with compiling data from the guyver manga and when I first started translating. The data comparison is actually pretty good. you can list by order of height, strength, weight etc. also, the height chart I did back then was interactive.you can directly compare the height of different characters. I'd forgotten about those bits so it's pretty nice to find them again. I wish the coding wasn't so messed up though. it got mangled by hte geocities server side software.
