Guyver

Something has been bugging me and that is the effectiveness of the Guyver remover as well as the existence of Guyver 2F first the remover (and this is just me speculating), I was wondering if the remover will work at all against a Guyver in gigantic form, from my understanding Gigantic is something that Sho created via the ship to beat zoalords so I assume it is something the creators never came up against so wouldn't it be based of different components that are not completely similar to the guyver unit thus not being compatible to the removers frequency if any? mind you this is just me speculating but I wanted to throw that out for discussion. I just recently got my vol 1-3 translated Guyver books from that one place in Singapore. I like the look and the orginal manga feel to them and everything but I have some questions. There seems to be some unused or new art that was put into the books. I mean just look at the drawing of Guyver II. He no longer looks like a carbon copy of Guyver I. You can see the same with Zerebubute with his black chest plate. This has probably already been brung up before, if it has I apologize.

Just started re-reading The Guyver from the beginning, since the books are just collecting dust on my shelf, when I started thinking about something that I'm sure must have crossed a few minds other than just mine. 3 decades into the story and we still don't seem to have an ending anywhere in sight. This is a tricky subject. So recently I have seen some rather excellent Guyver themed works that are NSFW type things. We have generally had a policy of no adult material on the site but let's face it, Guyver is semi- adult i its theme anyway so it's been difficult at times to figure out where the line is drawn. Just received my volume 7 DVD as I am sure some of you also already have.. awesome as we all know but I wanted to remind everyone to read the booklet insert. I know we have several theories as to why Alkanphel sleeps as long as he does, but Mat Pat on YouTube came out with a theory for the movie Logan that I thought might be a plausible theory as well. Considering that Guyver has a heavy setting in the science of genetics, I thought that it's possible that the situation ol'Wolverine is in could be possible for someone as old as Alkanphel or any of the other Zoalords later down the line. What do you guys think? Possible, or does Mr. Takaia have something else up his sleeve to explain Alky's condition?

Okay. I'm not an expert on Guyver, but I was up thinking last night. Sho and Agito really don't need to fight anymore. Alkenphel apparently has some sentimental problems regarding his child hood from when he was first created, and survived his own attempted death. So, if Alkenphel wants to take all the zoalords and a bunch of zoanoids on Noah's ark and go on a biblical crusade than I think Sho and Agito should let him. After all, the creators are just going to finish the job? So our experiment today is to see what happens when you take a fully functioning, brand new one of these..... ..and attach it to a powerful host who suffers from savoir mental illness and disability such as our subject here. How would the guyver or more specifically the control metal react to being bonded to an individual with such significant cognitive impairment and psychotic tendencies like Leatherface?

Lately I've been doing a little bit of research about the DC comics character Anarky. I've been wondering...given his anarchistic leanings, what would happen if he were introduced into the Guyver-verse? How would he engage the establishment created by Chronos? And what would happen if either Sho or Agito encountered him?

This is something akin to the "Who can beat Archanfel". I wanted to see what kind of weapons, contemporary or science fiction, could defeat or disable a guyver. With that said, things like the Death Star's Super Laser or other weapons of planetary devastation are off the table as these are over kill. These weapons don't have to be instant kill either and can be something that would only affect a regular guyver, you don't have to aim for Gigantic and Exceed right off the bat. For those that have seen the latest of the Guyver chapter any theories as to who the black guy is that retrieved the zoa crystals?

I was wondering if there were more recent images of Shizu from the manga that could be suitable for use as an avatar at another site. I tried to use the one that I used here, but it didn't work so well. I'm leaning towards the image of her used in the "cast of characters" page from when Guyver is published in Shonen Ace/Compilation volumes (Cast of Characters for Volume 16 onwards to present), or any newer image of Shizu that's similar. Based on the fact that most modern weapons don't do diddly to most Zoanoids aside from be a minor irritant, I'd think not. Some background: I'm big into World War II era history, and if I'm correct (which I might not be), Chronos, in some form, existed back then. Just wondering what thoughts or opinions readers might have for if something like X-Day or some Zoanoid uprising happened during World War II.
