Guyver

I'd like to ask a couple of questions to get theories on them. There was some discussion in another topic about the aliens from Aliens and their acidic blood vs Guyvers, and I've always wondered that since in the Twilight Saga that vampire venom is supposed to be pretty acidic, what effect could it have on a Guyver or a zoanoid? I know that if intro'd into a zoanoid, it'd probably kill them. In Twilight, vampires and vampire hybrids have the ability to produce this venom. Right, what the heck am i doing???? Quite simply i am going back to the beginning of Guyver and i am going to re-read and re-watch everything because ive forgotten a lot and its just unacceptable!! i was going to review and share my opinions / observations on the manga, oav and TV series all at once, but i think its a bit much so the main focus will be the manga. Misuki sagawa( From the anime series) and Miskie sagawa(from the guyver). I noticed a little while ago that they have the same last names. Was this an accident or done intentually?

Hi guys, I've just got volume 22 from Japan (hey that's what having a japanese friend is good for and I had a quick look at how the story is going on. Looks like the zoalord who fought against Gigantic Dark is still alive, as his zoacrystal is shining. Maybe he's agonizing, though... Meanwhile the plant Waferdanos, in his plant zoalord form has coverd all the battle area, having a forest grow up almost instanctly and also some plant zoanoids. We see Balkus remember when he first got to the Shira Island and how he had to fight the same plant creatures before discovering Waferdanos. I was watching Guyver Out of Control and I noticed how boxy the guyver looked, whats up with that? He looks like the Certex armor from GWOTG. But I gotta admit I liked the Chronos jumpsuits better in Out of Control blue and red it's got a patriotic kind of theme, still would of been better if it were red and white then I could show these americans my true colors as the Canadian I really am. Edit- Just as I was submitting this post I got an idea what if the Chronos jumpsuits where red with white and had a white maple leaf right in the middle for yah know branch purpouses. I could totally see that.

Thats the question I hear alot nowadays from many a Guyver fan. So many other series, and shows, and comics have gone through the "rebirthing" process recently, I can definitely see the Guyver following that trend. Ninja Turtles, Transformers, and Battle of the Planets (G-Force to some) are just a few of many that have resurfaced, and gained new cult following along with long-time fans. Guyver is a good, no great canidate for such a thing. It, even after 10 or more years has fans craving for it. Such evidence can be seen in this now, with companies like Max Factory STILL making toys/models from it. So I ask WG.com, we will see our beloved Guyver anytime soon? Not a re-rel…

There has being no new Guyver chapters this month. But the reason for it is of cocern. Takaya is on sick leave at the moment and as such the Guyver is on hold (this would explain why there hasn't being any chapters in the last few months) To Takaya I hope along with those at WG.com that he gets well soon and is able to continue on with his excelent story

After X-day. If you had the choice to become a low class zoanoid, or put in an application with Cronos to maybe become a Hyper Zoanoid in the far future. Would you? or would you want to stay human? Honestly. I'd want to stay human. I wouldn't want to be some zoalords puppet against the Guyvers or an enemy that would kill me out right because I would be easily over powered by them. Humans may not be as strong is that the zoalords don't have reign over their minds unless they're optimized as a zoanoid and thats my biggest issue.

We want a system for you and I to prove that we're fans and deserve access to the scanlations. The easier method is the better, I'm thinking of is the following. Take a picture of your book shelf and put a post-it / bit of paper with your messageboard username on it with your books / book. If you want to also appear in the picture that is fine too but the important thing is showing that you own the books. That is it, the camera shy can hide behind the camera if they want. All we want to see is a note with your name in the picture and your Guyver books.

I've been out of the guyver community for a long time, but I'm back now. With the new anime series being released in the US and ADV asking me to be their "official Guyver guy" (ya like everyone has a suit of armor and I was just the lucky one chosen, ha) Anyway, some of you know me from years ago,.. if not I'm the Bioweapons.com guy. As each zoalord appears to be of a different nationality I have been trying to match the different zoalords to the various international chronos branches and base. The locations of each branch are as follows (I think using my artbook!): 1 - Russia 2 - France 3 - Africa (more specifically i think Nigeria?) 4 - India/Pakistan? New topic for me, don't know if anyone has touched on it or if I haven't looked for it here enough. Does anyone happen to know if, and where, you can read scanlations of the Guyver novels online, w/o having to pay for it? well nearly finished this model just some highlights and lacquer to finish then the base . I had to mix the colours to get he right shade of purple/blue but turned out well i think.

Is it possible Viz still has the rights to Guyver? Or would they need to re-license it just like they did with Fist of the North Star? I remember reading the Viz scans and the last one said something like: “Guyver is going on a hiatus. We’ll see you in the funny papers!” which was awkward especially since they never returned to it. I’ve tried to inquire to Viz about the manga and one time they answered. They said more or less they want to expand their library but it would take time. I tried again they re-licensed Fist of the North Star but they didn’t respond this time. I hope one day this manga will be in print in English again.

Greetings everyone! I was just wondering if any of the original English voice actors from the twelve episode Guyver OVA had any personal websites. I've been rewatching the series lately and remembered one of the reasons why I loved it. The voice actors for Sho, Mizuki, Tetsuro, Agito, ZX-Tole, Guyot (obey the hair!), and Enzyme were my absolutely fantastic! Tom Fahn did a wonderful job with Sho. The emotion he put into the character made him very believable. I also get a gargantuan case of the feels when ever Melissa Fahn calls out to Sho as Mizuki. Whenever I read the Guyver manga Steven Blum is always the voice that plays out in my mind for Agito. I will admit that …

Ok guys, I haven't read anything in nearly two-three years now, and before I make a pledge/pre-order and want not, I was wondering where I need to pick up at in the books. The last thing I remember when I left off, was Agito and Sho finished their fight, Aptom was fighting some Libertus, and Griselda was nearly killed by Guyver II F and Guyot. Some flashbacks with Risker/Lisker and Archanfel woke up and was pretty ticked. So, where should I pick up the manga again? I imagine I've missed quite a lot.
