  1. Over Easy eggs - Similar to sunny side up, where you can see the yolk on top, but the yolk is still watery. Also, congee? It's the Chinese version of porridge. Except that it adds a variety of tastes. It's traditionally mixed with century eggs. Ooh! Centrury eggs. Try eating a century egg and then immediately drink soda. Any kind of soda. Tell us how you like the experience. Hehehehe!
  2. I have this thing with over easy eggs. Never liked my eggs scrambled or poached. One time in breakfast, I was served with a french toast with a whole in the middle that has an over easy egg. It turns out the toast was used as a mold to fry the egg. Very ingenious.
  3. Ah, but you see, that's the thing. Despite having similarities, the Toyota Avanza costs roughly around $19,931, but the Chevrolet Spin is only around $19,500, which makes the Chevrolet cheaper. The Avanza came out in the market first, and Chevrolet has dubbed the Spin as the Avanza killer. I don't know anything about the inside of the cars so you might be able to give me some insights. I have no idea what torque is for and all those things under the hood. Based on the specifications you've gathered, what do you think about these 2 vehicles?
  4. Since you guys are so knowledgeable about cars, I thought that I might use that to my advantage. Something that you guys can help me with. I'm recently thinking about buying a new car, and I wanted something that is practical, comfortable and affordable. I've been driving stick all my life so I thought that this time I might indulge myself by driving an automatic. Although I've always wanted a Lamborgini Aventador, that car is not available here and I would have to sell my soul to get one. I've narrowed down my choices to two models. The Toyota Avanza 1.5 G A/T vs the Chevrolet Spin 1.5 Gas LTZ. These are designed specifically for the asian market and I don't think they are available in the western market. What do you guys think? I'd like to know what you guys think about these two models.
  5. Ending of Blade and Soul. It's somewhat mesmerizing.
  6. Winds so strong that work was suspended. Trees were uprooted and littered everywhere. Few areas still without electricity.
  7. Don't you mean The Winds of Winter? And looks like GRRM might add an 8th book to the series. Dammit, I want to express my frustrations about a certain character but I can't seeing this as a risk of a huge and major spoiler.
  8. Obviously watching SAO II. Although I already know what's going to happen, it's still refreshing to see the story with my own eyes rather than using my imagination. Also watching Blade and Soul. Despite being adapted from a game, the story is quite excellent.
  9. Could this be similar to sniffing glue? Not a great idea.
  10. Consider this, if Putin was the monster that the other media outlet paints him to be, how come we don't hear of any major revolt in Russia? In the recent years, nations could easily oust their leader with enough support of the people. We've heard of people power toppling the current regime so what's stopping the citizens of Russia doing the same?
  11. What irony. And June 15 was supposed to be father's day.
  12. Good God! This again? Four.
  13. Well, so far, a lot of abilities Aptom has shown which he didn't know where it came from was actually established before he was ever aware of them. He didn't know where he got the cloak from but we do. He didn't know where he got the high frequency spear, but we do. The only reason why we think that Aptom absorbed a lot of random Zoanoids that we didn't know was because he said it himself. Even cursing Kablarl (blarg, barf, belch. Dammit, hard to keep saliva from dripping saying that name) for it instead of thanking him. He could pull one or two abilities out of that plot (and should be a significant one so to speak), but having more, as Yuki said, would be poor story telling. The challenge here is what other abilities he has shown while in Chaos Aptom that he can extract to form as a new ability. Perhaps we will eventually see Aptom having the ability to mass absorb zoanoids and turn into a powerful dragon to rival the Exceed? Now, did we ever see Aptom absorb the barrier guy? that's probably an ability that he badly needs. Would save a lot of regenerating time.
  14. Aha, Backward compatibility is something that we need especially if hey would want to keep the source code of the consoles closed. I'd be willing to accept the console without backwards compatibility if they would release an emulator capable of running the old games. Let's say 10 years later, your favorite game for the PS3 is still working, but your PS3 is not, how the hell am I supposed to play that game again? I'm thinking that they forced the PS2 to be backwards compatible simply because there was an emulator released. I didn't know that the newer Playstations could still play PSone games. If that is the case, then it would strongly support my theory. Similarly, my last console is the PS2, which is currently collecting dust inside the cabinet. I don't really miss playing consoles with the lot of current games. I only regret not getting the newer consoles because of the Japanese games. That's probably the only reason why I got a console in the first place. Never really played any American games. Most of my games are Japanese RPG or Super Robot Wars game. Come to think of it, I've never played any games that were made from the US. It was always Japanese in origin even from my time with the PSone.
  15. Dammit man! Don't do that. You're giving me more reason to spill out everything. Hahaha. Despite knowing what will happen, watching it with your eyes is much more rewarding than imagining what's happening in your head. I mean, I don't think I could imagine what the mountain did to Oberon. Besides, it more pleasing to see butt nekid women than imagining it. Spoiler for those who have not seen season 4 (Don't worry, no spoilers past episode 8 of season 4) Valar Morghulis
  16. I don't think I remember them mentioning going back a set number of hours. It is something to ponder about. But I do get about the final copter scene. Since he already lost the ability, being splattered with the Omega's blood might have supercharged him with it. Might even give him more control of the time loop ability. You know it would have been more awesome if Rita was wielding a bigass axe instead of that sword like paddle. I have to be honest, I felt that sword paddle was a wee bit small compared to the axe. An axe so huge that you need momentum to be able to wield it properly. And would have made them a lot cooler if they made mention about releasing the autobalancers to be able to wield the axe. My opinion on the metal jacket still stands. The movie version is so fugly.
  17. Head popping like popcorn. HBO seems to have this ability to surprise the viewers every season. Funny thing is that the head popping scene was not only blocked on youtube, but on our local HBO as well. Even the nude scene of Misandrei in the river. It's a good thing that I watched them through back channels. Although I already know what's gonna happen, I've read that people were really surprised with episode 9. Now I wonder if the next surprise will happen in episode 10. ho hum~
  18. I think the setup here would be similar to Highlander. There can be only one. Initially, killing the server would end the battle. Since both Keiji and Rita have been influenced by the loop, they are now considered as the server. So as long as of both of them are alive, there is no way to move forward from the time loop. The ability to time loop are already part of them, and the reset can be done each time a battle starts with their death being the trigger. It's a bit confusing but that's how I understand it.
  19. Haha, you sly dog. You've already read it. So how did you find the original material versus the Tom Cruise version? Although I liked how things worked in the novel version, I kinda like how the Tom Cruise version ended. Plus, the metal jackets were way cooler in the original version, not to mention the bigass axe.
  20. Welcome to the site, be it long time lurker or first time poster. To answer your question, please allow me to give a short history and the purpose of the Guyver Advocacy. The Guyver Advocacy was established because of several fans wanting to spread the works of Guyver. Although it would be easy to scanlate the manga, it could pose a potential harm to the publisher and author, as it could affect the sales of the manga. They wanted the owners of the original Japanese manga to understand the book, yet, does not want to infringe on the copyrights of the franchise. So, they initially devised a way to give translations to only those who own the actual books. Over time as technology and the process of scanlating evolved, so had the way Guyver Advocacy works. For a short amount of time, the group was scanlating the series for everyone to read, with the heavy disclaimer to buy the books when it was available. Through some unfavorable events, the trust of the group was violated, and the scanlated version was being sold online without the knowledge of the group. This was very frustrating, since other parties have benefited from the hardwork of the group. The group does not want to force the readers to pay for a premium just to read the books, as that would be hypocritical. They wanted both the fans and the author to benefit. Thus, they developed a system that not only allow true supporters of Guyver to understand the Manga, it will also help the author by way of manga sales. We now enter the new age of how Guyver Advocacy works. By pre-ordering the book, members will get access to the scanlated chapters. And once the volume is compiled and released, they will also receive a physical copy of the book. So to answer your question, yes, you get access to the scanlations as well as get the physical copy of the book. There are also other options if you do not want to buy the book from this site. The FAQ is readily available here for your convenience if you have any other questions.
  21. Perhaps you might like to try reading the novel. If that's too troublesome, they did adopt it into a manga. it's titled: All you need is kill, and it's already completed. Although I'm not sure about scanlations. It has a very different ending, and the way the time loop works have a slight bit of a change. The movie is actually called "All you need is kill" in Japan, naming it after the original material. And the lead character is Keiji, which has an uncanny sound like when a Japanese say "Cage". And "Cage", despite the change from Keiji, is still official, you'll understand when you finish the manga. I think the manga is only 15 chapters long.
  22. Well, I just saw the movie last night, and it was okay. There were funny moments, and it was actually interesting for someone who has no interest in sci-fi. Although it did diverge differently from the novel on the later parts, it actually captured the essence of the novel. I never really liked Tom Cruise, but I did happen to like this movie.
  23. O. M. G.!!! Are those Jimmy Choo shoes? Kidding aside, current united states administration seems to be in a deadlock, since the democrats and republicans doesn't seem to go eye to eye. I'm not from the US nor do I claim to know everything about their government. But based on the news that I've been reading, I'm leaning more on the conclusion that Obama, although making some unpopular decisions, was not able to fully implement all his policies due to the meddling of congress. Similar to how Obamacare was implemented, though it's intentions are good, it's execution was disastrous. I do understand the sentiment of why the US should not meddle in international affairs, because they need to fix their own mess before trying to fix the others. On the other hand, the US is looked upon as a world super power, and doing nothing in the wake of a crisis would put them poorly on the eyes of the international community, especially for small nations who are unable to defend themselves. With the rise of China as a super power, the US cannot be caught off guard. It's a complicated matter, and it's not something us non-politicians would understand. I'm a firm believer that there are people in the government who truly has good intentions. But everyone has different opinions on what good things should be prioritized, thus the debate on what is best. It's like the saying that too many chef will spoil the broth.
  24. Despite how strong the sentry is, he is nuts. I never liked him anyway. Superman not being able to lift Mjolnir but Wonder Woman can actually makes sense. Although Superman is pure in spirit, he does not have the warriors spirit. The character attributes of Thor is also present in Wonder Woman. You can actually say that Wonder Woman is the female version of Thor. As for Guyver versus Thor, sure, Guyver can sucker punch Thor, but when it comes to beating each other up, I'd have to say Thor would have the upper hand. Doesn't really matter who's the strongest, whoever fights dirtiest wins.
  25. I would think that Valkyria would have an inkling of who Aptom is. Cronos is very aware of Aptom and she was part of Cronos. If records were kept, it's possible that Cronos would know what happened between Cablarl (blarg, belch, barf) and Aptom after the huge shinjuku mess.
