  1. This looks great so far. This better not be the same game and graphics with the insert of new CGI. I would be pissed if that were to happen. Got knows how many FF7 remake was already out there (which is actually just a port). The proper remake would be using the technology and graphics from the latest FF and applying the story and/or system to that of FF7.
  2. Well, for all Jon Snow believers, don't lose hope, the book has not yet confirmed his fate, which is pretty much the same for the show. We saw him bleed, but we don't see him actually die. There is this theory going on about how Melissandre would do a Beric Dondorion on Jon Show, since he might actually be the true Azor Ahai resurected. Fan theory also goes on saying that since there are three dragons, there will be three dragon riders. We all know that Danaerys is one, the other two might be Jon Snow (which fans theorized to be the son of Raegar Targarean and Lyanna Stark, hence has Targarean blood), and Tyrion (the mad king might have raped Tywin's wife which resulted in tyrion). Despite the surprises, I still see the show to be somewhat aligned with the direction of the book. And lastly, if the producers kept killing protagonist, who'll end up in the climax of the series? It's very difficult to build up strong characters with just one season.
  3. So.... if Agito did manage to get a true Zoacrystal for Shizu, wouldn't that make Shizu a target for Apollon as well?
  4. I have never seen a dubbed version of Dragon Ball that you all speak of. So if you say Dragon Ball anime, what comes to mind was the voice of Masako Nozawa. As for how the anime was developed, I really enjoyed the original Dragon Ball. The one where Goku is still a kid and was training with Krilin with Master Roshi. Those were the good times. As for Z, although the animation was much sharper, plot development-wise, it was dull. Sure, watching it for the first time was a really exciting moment, but once you've watch it, my hands were itching to press the forward button. I mean come on, how many episodes do you need to charge up? As for Kai, I've never really considered it to be a serious anime. As mentioned, using cut and paste doesn't really sit well with the masses, especially if their goal was to introduce the franchise to a new and younger audience. I felt that this was the true embodiment of milking a series to death. Sure, it may have been the source of funding the new Dragon Ball Super that's coming out (or was it out already), but it remains to be seen how well it will fare against the countless anime that was its progeny.
  5. DC animated movies are already well made. With the hands of Bruce Timm in it, it would be definitely something I will anticipate watching. Although I do wish that they would continue with the continuity of their animated movies, but seeing how the New 52 went, I doubt there's any chance of it continuing. Marvel certainly has learned a thing or two from the animation DC released. Too bad they weren't able to sustain it.
  6. I really don't know what to make of this. Stannis is known to love Shireen unconditionally despite her being afflicted with gray scales. This just shows how desparate Stannis has become. So instead of hoping for a miracle on his March to Winterfell, we are now expected to have a Miracle. I actually expected Drogon to appear, the question now remains as to what does the show have in store for Denaerys. In the books, Drogon swepted her away and left her in an isolated nest somewhere in the waste lands. It remains to be seen how Denaerys is going to get back. And with Mereen having no ruler (Hisdaq was suppossed to be married to Denaerys during the games) and since we saw her future consort being stabbed, well, what's to happen to Mereen now?
  7. Princess Shireen!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. I was only introduced to Solar, Magnus and Turok through the Valiant Comics. I kinda liked how Valiant weaved the story in between the characters. Unity is actually one of my favorite story arcs in the Valiant universe. The way they made Phil Seleski turn to be exactly like his childhood hero Dr. Solar, and how they explained the capabilities of Magnus through the fact that he was the child of the Harbinger Torque. It was a shame that Valiant shut down. Even though the weren't as successful as the other publishers, the story they produced are top notch for me. They don't need to rely on gimmicks, they had a solid story to tell. Although later on they did jump on the gimmicks band wagon. I still own several Valiant comics, including the first appearance of Ninjak, which was worth quite a sum of amount, buy now probably worth a buck or two.
  9. Perhaps Captain America:Civil War can show us that.
  10. I think the catch phrase there is "variant". They were never able to duplicate the super soldier serum, which makes Captain America unique (or so they claim), It might be similar to the infinity formula of Nick Fury (but after original sin, I'm having doubts about the existence of the Infinity Formula). It's probably to keep her youth, but not maximize her capabilities to that of a peak human like that of Steve Rogers. Besides, even with the super soldier serum, they are still considered relatively human, meaning what they do can be replicated by any normal human.
  11. Yup. Hot Toys. Expect the best details from them. You just have to love the Hulk figure from Hot Toys. It's huge. But yeah, all the avengers (actually, all the movie toys) that Hot Toys do is pretty damn accurate. They definitely deserve the name Hot Toys.
  12. Black Widow and Hawkeye? You mean these guys?
  13. With the Secret Wars, maybe there's hope yet for Stark. Since we've seen the end of the Ultimate universe, perhaps after battle world, Superior Iron Man will be replaced by Ultimate Iron Man as the main Iron Man. Well, I've not read much of the Ultimates, but I've heard people praising it.
  14. I'm looking forward to the walk of shame. if they'll have it.
  15. Dude!! That was the reason you got recalled? That's gotta suckl. Well, now hopefully you get to stick around for good.
  16. I know exactly how you feel. Our weekly routine run with my jog buddies turn out to be a food fest after we run. After running a half marathon, we would pig ourselves out at the nearest mcdonalds.
  17. I think you left out option of medium well. It's cooked well-done, but not charred that it's still soft and squishy, but not bloody. Before I used to like this method. (the well-done that I know is charred black) But after tasting real steak while I was in Indianapolis, I'm now a firm believer in medium rare. It's tender and juicy, that's how I liked my filet mignon.
  18. Oh, this drama again? When would this issue with Kojima ever end? It seems like Konami is flip-flopping with their decision. I've read that they are going to concentrate on making games for mobile, but then again, they promised they will release MGSV. Then Kojima's name keep popping in and out of all MGS related materials. So there definitely seems to be internal strife within the company.
  19. I broke my PSone once for playing too much of it. I actually own 2 PSone. My first one was so broken beyond repair that I had to buy a new one.
  20. I've never bought a game that I didn't like. Never done much research either. I'm normally the last one to buy a game, so when I have friends playing a specific game, I try it and if I like it, I buy it. If I can wait, I'll just borrow it when they're done. Besides, my standards are pretty much very low when it comes to games. Normally when I see the name Final Fantasy in it, I'll buy it immediately without any research. Heck I had 2 copies of Final Fantasy 8 and 9, one in english and one in Japanese.
  21. Thinking about it now, I don't think I've ever cheated on a console game. I remember playing Metal Gear Solid on Hard on my first run. Didn't cheat on it but persevered with it, repeated specific scenarios countless time, but in the end, I managed to finish it without cheating. Now for online games, would you consider botting as cheating. The only time that I've done this is with Ragnarok Online. It literally took me years before I reached level 99 manually, so I booted for my other characters. Granted, I never botted my main account, I bot only on my side accounts to get items and money. Besides, 90% of the players are botting on the server I played so guess it doesn't matter.
  22. With a very slow internet connection, I would really prefer physical. It'll take me one whole week just to download one game, while it's just a few hours for me to buy a physical copy of a game. Besides, I like how it looks when you have a cabinet full of games.
  23. Back in the 90's, Netscape was king. Then I gradually shifted between IE and Firefox. When Chrome came out, I shifted to Chrome due to it's ease of use and it being bare bones. With an old computer you would understand how a basic interface without any addons are a godsend. then I've noticed severe slowdown with Chrome with the unwarranted updates. Now I'm back to Firefox as my browser of choice becuase it's a lot faster on an old slow computer.
  24. I think all the anger was from the fans of the book. Just because what happened wasn't how it was exactly described in the books means its bad. I myself just felt bad for Sansa. It would have been bearable if Theon wasn't there. But he had to watch. Now I'm hoping that this act will snap Theon back to his senses. Now as for Arya, I'm a bit disappointed at how slow the pace of her training was going. She didn't even learn the Bravosi language, or at least gave a hint on how to play the game of many faces. I'm still trying to figure out how Arya could become a bad@ss with the way things are going right now.
  25. I don't go to the Gym, but I normally run at least 5km every weekend. If I'm with my jog buddies, we normally do around 10 to 15k. Used to do it every other day, but didn't have the luxury of time to do it anymore. I don't run just because it is trending. I run because I enjoy it. I was actually running even before Marathon started becoming popular here. There was a time where I used to run when I go home from the office. I normally do it once a week when I can't drive my car (coding scheme which prohibits cars on the road with a specific plate ending number on a specific day) I used to go to the Gym, but didn't think paying a monthly fee was worth it so I stopped.
