Yeah... Zack Snyder... Your tone implies that you are not impressed. It seems that you are too critical of everything. If you don't like something, it might be best for you not to push your opinion to somebody else. As it seems that we often differ in opinion in every discussion that I have had with you, please do not try to attack every opinion that I have. I find it quite oppressive for some time now.

Why so much hate for DC? Can't we all just be happy that they made a film about batman and superman? if it sucked, what's it gonna do to us? Nothing, but if this franchise fails, it's going to be a huge blow to DC and a definite win for Marvel. I find it strange that any company would be willing to set themselves up to fail. Besides, Zack Snyder has done some movies that I liked, so no matter what people say about this movie, I will just sit back and enjoy it.

Yay. More clips from youtube, which I currently can't access due to the great firewall of china. Seriously, the movie is already out for the critics. We jist waiting for the theaters to release the movie, whoch for us is just next week.

Well, they are showing it here on April 22. We'll probably get the incomplete version again like the last Avengers movie, we didn't have the Shawarma scene.

Damn, Aldnoah Zero. Not only was the series good, but the soundtrack is something I can listen to repeatedly. Although I found the ending to be wanting. Feels like they rushed it. -

Here's something new and recent. Assassination Classroom. Was actually curious about the manga and read it. So far I am enjoying it. Think of it like something similar to GTO, but instead of a gangster for a teacher and delinquents for the students, you get an "Alien Octopus" for a teacher and an outcast for the students. And the way they learn the basics of life is through the use of assassination. Very interesting. -
Christian Bale not reprising his role as Batman.

You mean more like Superior Iron Man. Hehehe. Lex Luthor does have the green armor, but I think you're thinking of Metallo when you say the armored guy with a Kryptonite. The Richard Donner films doesn't really stick much to the actual source, so it's going to be difficult comparing it to the new movies. Additionally, Superman returns isn't exactly the best material to reference things. Despite Kevin Spacey being a talented actor, I didn't like how he portrayed Lex Luthor. Besides, that movie is considered as Superman 2.5 when you connect it to the Christopher Reeves films. Didn't do much to the franchise. As for Brandon Routh, I guess you'll be seeing him in the TV series arrow (if you are watching that) as Ray Palmer, who will eventually turn into the Atom. -
Christian Bale not reprising his role as Batman.

Oh my God! I can't believe you will mention George Clooney. I have no respect for George Clooney for what he did to the franchise. He admitted he played Batman Gay! Granted that it was mainly Schumacker who killed the franchise, he played a role on it. I will never recognize George Clooney for his work in the franchise. He can't even act! Look at all of his movies and he has one demeanor! One! As to Ben Affleck, I'm not defending him. I'm just giving him the benefit of the doubt. I've read that he really worked out for the role, even his wife was wowed by his physique, so you really have to give him that for this dedication. Although it's very hard to imagine him in a role without his good friend Matt Damon, I think he deserves a chance. Well, he did win an award for his work on Argo. Come on, let's give sad batman a chance. -

I believe that Christian Bale is a very good actor dedicated to his craft. And I also believe that he did a very good job in the Nolan films. Although I do wish him to play the role in the new movie, I have to say that the producers made the right decision. For one, it might be that they want to establish the batman begins as a separate universe compared to that man of steel universe. As for Ben Affleck, I say to give him a chance. Everyone had the same reaction when Michael Keaton was cast as Batman. Who knows, he just might surprise us. I will reserve judgement until I finally see the film. The producers have to remember, this is a movie that will make or break them. If they can't pull this off, there is no way for them to even reach the level of where marvel is. They really have to literally wow us otherwise they will lose us. I can imagine the pressure on Ben Affleck. He knows how the fans reacted when he was cast as Batman, so I would guess that he will have to put greater effort in the role. -
Sticks and stones may break my bones, but puny words will never hurt me. These are the words I live by when I do not wholly agree with another person. Those who cannot accept other peoples opinion and try to push their own beliefs unto others are narrow minded individual who has no sense of self being. You are better off without these people. Take my advice, find new friends. Friends are individuals with like minds who associate with each others.

Cat was never voluptuous, I don't think. I mean, to me, the word 'voluptuous' suggests someone like Mae West, but Cat was always more lean. By voluptuous, I mean heavy on the front, just like that pic you showed. Calista Flockhart is a little, for lack of a better term, flat chested. It would be very difficult for her to flaunt her assets unless she gets an upgrade.
-
I have to question the casting of Calista Flockhart to the role of Cat Grant. Cat Grant is supposed to be a voluptuous woman who will use her sex appeal to get what she wants. Something I can't picture Calista Flockhart doing. Or perhaps the image of Ally Mcbeal is stuck in my head for some reason, just like that Dancing Baby (viewers of Ally Mcbeal would know this). Hmm.... implants?

Well, that's Mark Millar for you. He's really good at shocking his readers. Which is why I like most of his works.

I've also seen the anime and read the manga. Didn't quite like the ending of the anime. It was a bit off, especially how they treated Claire. the manga, on the other hand, was great. although there were times that I got a big confused with the story, but overall, it was a good read. I do find Claire's awakened form to be interesting.

Uh.... May 1? It's right there in the trailer. Marvel seems to have mastered how to control the anticipation of the fans. So far, all the movies they put out has been very successful. They say it's going to be difficult to top the Avengers, but they push out movies that do. I so want the Hot Toys for this. Especially the Hulk Buster. Man, if the Hulk was huge, I'd imagine the Hulk Buster to be massive.

All this talk about balls make me wonder where these balls are coming from. No wonder there is so much testosterone in Dragon Ball, because they had the balls of a dragon. Kidding aside, I think if they keep on continuing the Dragon Ball series, Goku might end up being a God. Because every time there is a new enemy who's stronger, Goku ends up getting stronger and defeats that enemy. I've never seen much of the newer movies, but this seems to be the formula for all the DBZ movies.

There seems to be a lot of one liners. They are funny though. In response to Thor's "Is that the best you can do?", cap retorts with "You had to ask". lol

Scarlett Johansson as Major Kusanagi (Ghost in the Shell)
durendal replied to ./Anonymous's topic in Japanese Entertainment
To be fair - not a lot of Caucasians in Asian cinema. Oh, you'd be surprised as how many caucasian pops up in asian cinema, particularly in Malaysian and Thai cinema. What I meant is that when the plot requires a caucasian to be cast, they do so. I've seen my fair share of Asian Cinema, and they do cast a lot of Americans and British in their movies. I'm not saying that all of Hollywood is white washing their movies. I'd like to cite the Last Samurai as an example where they did a good job. It's just that there are too many Asian actors being cast only on Stereotypical roles. Chow Yun Fat for example. It's a shame he never made it big in Hollywood. If you'd seen all of his Hong Kong Movies, he was way cool. Oh, wait, we're getting off topic here. Anyway, it's going to be interesting to see how they treat Ghost in the Shell. -
It seems that I was misinformed about the anime. I thought that the new anime started with stardust crusader and not with Jonathan Joestar, which prompted me to avoid this immediately. I've had enough of the poorly made OAV so I avoided this. Looks like they started with Phamtom Blood. Might be interesting to see how they animate this. Considering that part 1 and 2's artwork in the manga differ substantially from part 3.

Scarlett Johansson as Major Kusanagi (Ghost in the Shell)
durendal replied to ./Anonymous's topic in Japanese Entertainment
As Neil Patrick Harris put it, it's about Hollywoods Best and Whitest...sorry....Brightest. I'm not sure if it is what they call "whitewashing", but to give credit, Scarlet Johansson does have experience playing a badass female lead and has shown proficiency in doing so. I just notice that there are not a lot of Asian in the lead roles in Hollywood. -
Thats good to know. I was shocked when Tyrion killed his father. I was waaay shocked. Didn't see that happening. Oh, prepare to be shocked more. That's how it is with GRRM, just because you are the leading protagonist doesn't mean your safe from dying. Heck, everyone thought that Ned Stark was the main protagonist, little did everyone know that his head will roll later in the first season. Literally. I remember reading a fan favorite character being stabbed to death at the last part of the novel. His fate remains unknown if he survived or not.

Don't wait for it, download it now on your smart phone. It's available via IOS and Android. More people downloading it means it will make it faster for them to start developing a console version.

Since they are re-animating Arslan, I do hope they finish the story this time. Or at least end on a satisfying part of the story. -

One name. Hironobu Sakaguchi. Since he left square, all the later final fantasy games failed to reach epic status. -
Here's an idea which i think would be unlikely. Perhaps "Al" was a residue of Alchanfel transforming into Apollon. Maybe he split himself up into 2 separate being to be able to achieve his goals. I mean, why would Apollon have abilities that far surpass the other Zoalords, in which only Alchanfel is capable of? Or maybe Apollon is being controlled by Alchanfel, that leaves him into an innocent state when he goes out hunting. I'm starting to doubt that Apollon is Imakarum. Imakarum had a difficult time with Gigantic Dark, whereas Apollon was able to easily dispatch of Gigantic Exceed. Although they weren't seriously fighting, Apollon seems to evade Exceed rather easily.
