  1. Most definitely. Alkanphel is in a weakened state at the moment. I'm not sure he could even really take on a Guyver at this point. Even if he tried to fight back, it would probably injure himself even further before he could finish the job.
  2. I think considering how much the emphasize "REMAKE" in the trailer, chances are it's going to be a top to bottom remake, at least graphically. I only hope they don't change the gameplay at all. *Edit* Confirmed that it isn't just a graphics upscale. And there WILL be differences. http://kotaku.com/the-final-fantasy-vii-remake-wont-be-exactly-the-same-1711909183
  3. The jumping around to the different gameplay features in the first trailer made it seem far too hectic to be playable. Thankfully the second trailer showed a more down to earth and actual gameplay approach, and it feels much better. Me bad want now.
  4. More like a teaser than anything. But really, this just shows that Square-Enix is out of ideas when it comes to new Final Fantasy's. Granted, I haven't completed a Final Fantasy since 8, and haven't really liked one since 6... Not including the fun I had with 14. At the very least, it looks like they are not changing the character and upgraded designs that they used for Advent Children and Dirge of Cerberus, thus keeping them consistent.
  5. Crud. Tried to fix the issue, but didn't work. Seems to be a rather annoying bug in the forum software. Some nice content in those LD's though. Noticed quite a few things that did not make it into the Data Files book.
  6. Well Timm has always demanded a certain amount of control in what he makes for DC. He's gotten away with quite a few things over the years in his DC shows. (by making them much darker than expected, or like finishing a 13 episode season in 12 episodes, so he could do a Batman Beyond Epilogue) When he stepped down, I assumed that he was done dealing with DC altogether... But this one is against the grain in a way so it looks like they gave him a lot of power to make whatever he wanted to do.
  7. I... Don't get it... If Beerus is in it... has the movie happened? if so, why is Goku still a golden super saiya-jin? I know they have mentioned that the last 2 movies were supposed to be "canon"... Ugh. My brain.
  8. Bruce Timm is back! And this time he's doing an alternate Universe movie, changing up the origins, backgrounds, and even who is who. From what info I remember, the big 3 are all different people... Superman is now Zodd's son, and while still seemingly a good guy, he is supposed to be very arrogant and doesn't mind killing if he has to. Batman is not Bruce Wayne... And is an actual vampire. Wonder Woman is not an Amazon, but from Darkseid's army. All 3 of them still seem to be on the side of "Good" but with darker edges. They've released 3 animated shorts, showing off a few of the differences, before the move is released next month. Batman. Superman Wonder Woman I can't wait. Bruce Timm is the master of making DC characters likable.
  9. I think the next few chapters will reveal a lot more... But judging from the few scenes after his and Sho's fight, he definitely seemed conflicted about himself now. As for still using Shizu and the Libertus? Even if he has had a change of heart, he would still use the resources he has available in order to take out at least the rogue Zoalords, as they are still clearly considered the enemy. What depends now, is if he will have a reaction to them getting killed or the like, in the next fight. Maybe we will see a different reaction from him? Hard to say. I mean, before he didn't even care enough to make graves for his followers and friends. Now he has. Sho and Agito may not be "friends" right now, but they certainly are not enemies at this point. But as I said, the real key will be the next few chapters, as we haven't seen Agito at all since he and Shizu stood over the graves by his base.
  10. They did have refunds before actually. But it was a much harder process to go through, and sometimes just wasn't worth the time and effort into convincing them. Their new system, while pretty basic, should work for MOST normal games. It does hurt people who release games that are less than 2 hours long, and the most importantly, shovelware and piss poor "game" releases. The way Steam was going before this, was allowing people to put up utter garbage on Steam, and have people actually pay for unfinished and almost unplayable "games". It was getting notorious on the internet, and Valve had to do something. And really, it is something they should have done ages ago.
  11. Played it when it first came out on PC. Beat it. Never played it again due to lackluster story with no real reason to play through again other than "More loot". It wasn't a "bad" game by any means, but the story really pulled me out of it. I know there have been updates and an expansion or two... But I can't be all that fussed to spend more money on it.
  12. It's hard to say at this point... We don't know how much Agito has changed as a person. But this arc will surely show us. I honestly think he's there to take them out. He's got a greater number of Libertus with him, and no relic under the base to try and retrieve. And since they know these guys are behind the attack, it could very well be motivated by revenge to some degree.
  13. Yeah, Hot Toys are pretty amazing at what they do. And they have only gotten better with time... Though they have also gotten more expensive too... I have 13 Marvel hot Toys figures (mostly Iron Man related)... And at $200+ a figure... You can see it adds up...
  14. Natasha has never gotten the "Super Soldier" serum. She was biologically enhanced by the KGB in the comics, but not with the Super Soldier serum. Probably just a cocktail of different drugs. They never specified if this happened in the movies at all, but her recent past being close to what it is in the comics, probably holds true. But definitely not the Super Soldier serum.
  15. I am really excited. I played the crap out of Fallout 3 and it's DLC, and loved it all. (Fawkes is the best partner EVER) New Vegas was a mess, and after 3 save corruptions, I gave up on it... But it wasn't made by Bethesda itself. This one is. My only issue... What do I get it on... XB1, PS4 or PC... I am actually thinking PC... Cause some of the mods can be damn cool... And I can still use my XB1 controller.
  16. They are certainly some of the least powerful of the current cast, yes, but certainly not the "Worst". I mean, they make Cap out to be quite a bit tougher... But really he isn't much tougher than Hawkeye. And carries a shield? Technically Hawkeye would be the better choice, especially with his gimmicky arrows. And Widows weapons kind of change over the 4 movies she has been in... But Guns usually remain a constant for her. Guns vs a shield? I honestly know what I'd choose. And she's a trained assassin as well. So physically she's a contender as well. In other words: Captain America is the worst Avenger. ...Except he's also supposed to be a great leader too... So I guess no one is worst.
  17. What is interesting, is that in the last 2 weeks... With some variances on who was online, we've had probably a good 15-16 hours in Skype chatting... What about you ask? No Comment Heh... Been a while since I could do that...
  18. Oh believe me. I KNOW. I was collecting Iron Man for many years before "The Crossing", and pretty much up until the Heroic Age started... Of which now I just kind of keep track of what they are doing. He was always my favorite character... Despite how much of a dick he could be, or how shafted he got in the story side. Extremis, by far, being the best thing that ever happened to Tony, both in terms of story and artwork. Ellis made him out to be a lot more sympathetic, as a man who admits he made mistakes, but only because he was trying to make things better. And Granov's artwork was simply amazing... Even if it took a long time. I've always had issues with Marvel's canon, and inconsistant use of any of their characters... But Tony is one whose personality shifts not only from different books ( Avengers, cameo's etc...) to different arcs of his OWN books. Not to mention my biggest personal beef that maybe 1 out of 10 cameo uses of Iron Man, actually get his current armor correct. The majority of Comics during the time he had Extremis used his older, pre-extremis armor. And we're talking many months after Extremis was complete. *Edit* Oh yeah, and Fraction can go to hell.
  19. That's why I tend to prefer "Iron Man" to Stark himself... Stark likes to keep things hidden and play dumb. Sure, there are guys like Reed Richards, Dr.Doom who are similar and can call him out on them... But only when it suits their own purpose. I remember way back, just after Annihilation, Nova returns to Earth, and has a sit down talk with Stark about the war, who denies hearing anything about it. Nova notes that he sent a message to Reed Richards regarding it. My guess? Richards did not bother to tell anyone, and just assumed everything would work out. Besides, they were in the middle of a Civil War. There is a great little "What If..." story regarding that wit the Annihilation Wave reaching Earth just as Cap has Iron Man pinned. It's just nice to see something that could have happened when the call was ignored.
  20. I think my favorite line from the enitre thing has to be "That explains the Laser Raptor."
  21. So it seems they are doing a new figure... Guyver Gigantic. What I find MOST hilarious... Is that their "Artwork" for it, is just a photoshopped official gigantic head... On a photoshop shrunken body of the Guyver Gigantic Data file that Brian colored way back in 1999. Here's the two for comparison. They did some slight modifications here and there... But note the gravity orbs on the chest as the most stand out part... They will bootleg almost anything won't they?
  22. I've used Firefox for... I don't know how long now. Since the very early days. Have not had any problems with it, thus have not needed to change. Though, work makes me use Chrome. And I don't dislike it, but I am still sticking with Firefox on my personal systems.
  23. The collector in me lieks to get physical copies of everything. I like the fact that I OWN it. It is MINE. Digital releases will always have a stigma over them, especially now with Konami and the PT takedown. So some day, a game you paid for, and deleted due to lack of space, may no longer be available for you to redownload, because the game company has pulled it off the store. Which means, even if you were willing to pay again, it would not be available either way. PT may have just been a demo... But Konami has set a bad precedent in removing it from the store, and not letting people re-download it.
  24. The new Metal Gear Solid WILL be released. This much has been confirmed. Whether or not Kojima's name will be on it, is another issue. But it will most likely be the last "true" Metal Gear game Konami ever does. They have confirmed now that they are going to focus on mobile gaming, and if the change in laws happen, gambling machines. The whole feud with Kojima is just part of this shift... Which is probably for the best really. ANY other studio, except probably Capcom, would no doubt LOVE to throw money at Kojima and let him do basically what he wants. I would LOVE to think that this was a big conspiracy between Kojima and Konami to hype him as a creator before they change their focus... Put his name in the papers as a victim to make his value to any other company increase... But considering how they handled Igarashi as well... I doubt that is the case. Thankfully Igarashi seems to be doing just fine with his kickstarter for a new "Igavania" game. Though really, from a business standpoint, Konami is doing the smartest money making thing they can. Mobile games is where the money is. And if the Japanese laws for Gambling machines gets changed, Konami will be there, ready and rooting to get into it ( they have been big in the lobbying for the change in law). "AAA" games take a lot of money to make, and sometimes do not make much overall profit. And Konami is looking at profit only. They don't care about gamers. They care about MONEY. So anyone who says "They are not good at business" is only saying it out of spite because they assume the game THEY want, will make the company tons of money, because THEY are a fan. Are there other fans? Sure. But obviously the number Konami has, is not enough. And this is where the "Art vs Business" fight happens. And "Art" loses to "Business" every time when a big company is involved.
  25. Her goal is not a bad thing. But the way she started going about it, definitely zero'd any credibility as a voice for the cause she talks about. Yeah, there is a lot of sexism in games and the game industry. But using lies and half truths along side good points, does not make them any better. If she had just stuck to the truth, she would not be in this mess. A different mess to be sure, but not THIS mess. It's like she is trying to be a politician who can claim something, but then backtrack by saying something like: " Well, I am not an expert on the subject and may have stated some incorrect facts. For this I apologize." Except that she claims to be a big gamer, thus knowledgeable enough about games and the industry. Then why does she continue to make these mistakes? She has lost most of her credibility as a speaker, or activist simply because all of her "facts" need to be back-checked before anyone can believe any word out of her mouth.
