I just saw this movie yesterday, and I can honestly say this is one of my favorite science fiction films of all time. Sharlto Copley gives an excellent performance considering this is his first real film. The CGI is amazing and the alien weaponry effects are pretty brutal.

Has anyone else seen this movie? I dragged my wife along to see it with me. She enjoyed it very much. I thought it was the best damn movie I have seen all year! It's the highest rated movie of all time on IMDB.com http://www.imdb.com/chart/top

Does anyone have LEGO? I used to buy them in 1996-1998. In 1998 I was under strong impression from the game Carmageddon 2 and create a number of themed cars. I'm not sure how far this topic is going to go. The idea of this topic sounded interesting. If you could travel back in time, what are some of the things you would do? I'd travel back in time to fix some things that happened in my past. Make more friends and had made some better decisions.

I finally understand why critics gave this one a low overall score. IMO, easily the worst of the three films. There was far too much going on, nothing was ever really very deeply developed. Like always, the CG was amazing, and SOME of the fights were cool (NOT including the last fight...), but overall I found the movie very lacking. They tried to make you feel for Sandman... but really, not enough time is spent on him, and his case doesn't really mean anything to the viewer ( unlike Doc Ock in #2). Has anyone seen this yet? I saw a later showing in the day since I had to work from 6 AM - 3 PM, but this movie was quite good. It's not perfect but it had some awesome fight scenes like the first predator and alien duking it out. (kinda made me dizzy though, camera movement was too fast ). Some scenes which the crowd cheered for: *The third surviving Predator killing a face hugger in mid-air and an alien afterward with a new weapon. *THe predator and human teaming up *The Predator jumping behind the queen, swinging and stabbing her in the neck with his staff That's about it. Anyway, go and watch the movie, it's good stuff.

I can't help but notice that there is a lot of common ground amongst all of us with regards to interests in certain sci fi films, cartoons and programmes.
