Ok so the next installment of the Jurassic Park series is on its way. Here was the original art. There are some interesting things floating around. First, Jeff Goldblum will be reprising his character, Ian Malcolm, which will make him officially the series most recurring character But ol Jeff aint the only one comeing back from extinction....an old scaly friend is to. Yep, the horridly inaccurate and terrifying Dilophosaurus are finally back. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are also back for this installment. while their is no hard infor about its plot there are rumors. There is talk of volcanic eruptio…

Just a question but is it possible to block or hide a thread on this forum? Every time I drop by, there's a particular thread that's constantly updated and annoys the crap out of me. (I'm not gonna say which one) If I can "hide" it that would be awesome. Is that even possible?

So Netflix's Castlevania "anime" has been released... And at 4 episodes long, it's more of a "What do you guys think...?" test, rather than a full season 1. Probably why "season 2" has already been approved and is 8 episodes... In order to add up to 12 for a proper season 1. And yes, since season "2" has already been announced, you can guess that, yes, it is pretty awesome. Reminds me a bit of Attack on Titan in that it is very medieval, and not afraid to show gore... But also has it's own gimmicks that keep it from being just a simple Fantasy Horror. Basically without spoiling too much... The series is retelling the NES game Castlevania 3: Dracula's Curse,…

Ok so I just got back from seeing this latest adpation of the Stephen King's novel. Befor I go any further I give the obligitory spoiler warrnings, as I wil be talking about both the film and its ties to the novel. However I will try not to give to much away at the same time. I had watched the mini series once and only read the novel this years so I am relitively detached from most of King's works bare some of the movie adaptions now and then over the years. Going in my expectations were a bit mixed as the trailers gave me much to look forward to but also stuff that made me role my eyes a bit. Simple put I walked in open minded but praying they did not …

Ok so with the Friday the 13th game coming out next week I'd like to talk a little bit the worlds most recognizable slasher Jason Voorhees. I'll be looking at each of his movies designs as well as giving my own interpretation of his history. I should note that I will be skimming over some of the actual movie plots as a whole since this is more of a look at Jason's character, his designs and filling in some of the continuity gapes...were possible. As most of you know Jason Voorhees is a seemingly immortal murderer who haunts the area around Crystal Lake. Jason was born on June 13, 1946 to Elias and Pamela Voorhees. At birth Jason was heavily deformed and mentally stun…

As a little something for Halloween I decided to talk about who I feel was the ultimate slasher. Now I know what your thinking, Jason Voorhees. He by far the most popular and has the highest body count. But I feel that body count dose not really as big a badge of honour as some think. Many slashers primary targets are teens, young adults with little or no skills that would allow them to deal with such an encounter which is mad even more unfair by the many advantages the killer has over them. Also as we all know popularity doesn't make the greatest. So who do I think was the Ultimate? That would be Matt Cordell - The Maniac Cop …
