Allow me to introduce the Advocacy to the amazing Japanese Folk Metal band Onmyo-Za! These guys have been around for a little while now and have produced some very unique music. Their image and primary lyrical content draws upon Japanese mythology. They are relatively unknown. Even inside their own native Japan. Onmyo-Za has been known to produce a few theme songs every now and then for games and the Basilisk anime series. Onmyo-Za is particularly fond of the the novel The Kouga Ninja Scrolls by Futaro Yamada. Hello everyone, so this year I'm going to talk about a franchise that I have had an unfairly low opinion on for many years. The Halloween franchise. This is in part due to the new Halloween movie coming out next month but also from a growing intreast in the movies earlier this year despite not having known of the new film until the last month or two. Every one I've seen the first trailer for the live action eva movie and uhh is all I can say. Here's a run down on what I got from it. What did everyone think of it? I thought it was for lack of a better word... Incredible! This movie is everything that the Ang Lee couldn't be! Very entertaining, full of action, faithful to the comics, and more interesting. I loved the Lou Ferrigno cameo and the purple pants scene.

I have to say this was the best damn movie I have seen all year and in my opinion, was much cooler than Spiderman 2. I also have to note that this have a HUGE Fantastic Four influence A family of five with super powers much like the Fantastic Four Violet - same powers as Mrs. Richards (not bid FF comic reader ) Elastigirl - same powers as Reed Richards The bad guy has no abilities but uses gadgets instead like Doctor Doom. Matching Costumes Um, there's probably more, this movie is simply amazing and you NEED to see it. Quite funny too.

Again another great movie goes Ignored by you guys. Well that is why I am here to remind you. I saw this movie last week and I gotta say it is excellent. This is not a beat em up it is a plot driven machine more espionage goes on than action. Go see it movies do not come out like this every day. This movie is a remake of an earlier movie of the same name. I recommend seeing both.

Anyone love The Matrix? Awesome movie! Nothing like seeing Neo and his friends take on the entire digital world and fight Sentinels to save the world. I loved these movies especially the first one. Anyone watch it lately? I really liked the first 2. Reloaded was cool seeing as Smith and Neo were both much stronger. I also really liked Smith because he was a viral version of Neo who was assimilating programs into himself and gaining control of the Matrix.

This is something I've noticed in several animes, predominantly in the various Gundam series and/or other mechas. That is, whenever the Middle East is portrayed, the natives of the land are seen as nothing more than a bunch of resistance fighters. They're also portrayed in a Western like manner though. Fighting alongside women, treating everyone with respect and dignity, and everyone has equality. It's like they're really nothing more than westerners who just so happen to be in the Middle East during the conflict. I find this not to be an accurate depiction of the Middle East or those various cultures. I'd be much more interested in an actual Middle Eastern resistance gro…

Ok so I'm gonna talk about the ninja's of mortal kombat, We'll start with the guys as they came first, then the girls and finally the cyborgs. So as you can see, when MK started out they found a very good way to pad out the roaster with each game with minimal effort. Just recolour their ninja model and throw in some new moves. I got to be a model maker and 2nd unit Director for James Taylor (he did the Beast Machines episode where Cheator takes over from Optimus, as well as Spiderman and Ninja Turtles). So I've been trying to find a way to read the actual three matters of medieval literature for some time now, but I haven't had any luck whatsoever with finding them. Anytime I try looking them up online, all I can find is the wikipedia pages talking about them, and some websites discussing their subject matter. Either that, or some thesis and articles talking about them, but where can you actually go to read them? I haven't found them in my library, I can't find them online either. Is there anywhere you can go to read them, or do you have to be a special someone in order to have access to those pieces of literature?
