Thats my question. It just seems too good to be true. Like what if a god... knew that the Guyvers would be the down fall of Alkanphel? What if Alkanphel, angered a god and by coincidence. Sho was chosen as an instrument of justice....and he keeps on getting stronger and stronger. Like it was meant to be? I mean at the beginng of episode one. Mizuki described Sho as a light bringer and that he would guide everyone back to the light as if he was some messiah. I'm just thinking. Dr. Barcus is the top mind of Chronos. He created the Hyper Team 5 and other wonders for Chronos. However, he can't figure where he went wrong with Aptom. It's almost like he has no recollection of the mistake. is it possible one of Dr. Odagiris's people had something to do with Aptom's new found powers?

The topic says it all. Whate are some things that you really like about the Guyver? What I really like is the armor, the zoanoids, the zoalords for one. That being Richard Guyot and how evil he was and how Sho and Agito endured a good fight against Chronos. So, those are some things that I really enjoyed about the series. Thoughts?

So my Figma Guyvers are pretty lonely. Which toys out there do you think stand well with Guyvers? Ya know like, toys of monsters from various IPs that can kinda sorta replace Zoanoids (because Lord knows they're never getting toys). I was shopping over at bigbadtoystore.com and remembered some monster toys I have seen for a whole. Those being: Kikimura from The Witcher Tyranid from Warhammer 40k Kryptonite Doomsday from DC comics. All made by McFarlane Toys, with articulation. They seem like worth stand-ins. Kikimura is probably the most odd one in the group, since it's very animalistic, and not humanoid like legit Zoanoids.

I'm curious to know the years that each Guyver volume was released. I have heard the series went through some long hiatus' in the past. Just wondering how long those dark periods were.

Well? Tell us why you want it released aswell. As for me, I'd like a Zx-Tole figure (Classic or Neo, not really fussed). It'd be so cool if they made one that could transform into the his "fully open" mode like the model kits.

Like Guyver III's double elbow blades, or the head spikes. Or Guyver II's asymmetrical heat exhaust ports, etc. Do you think it could caused by humans all having different features from one another? Something gentic in each person? Or could it just be a random occurrence?

Did anyone think that the zoalord Sean fought....looks kind of creepy?

So as you guys all know. Max Factory exhibited many amazing BFC prototypes which never saw a release!! The first of which (and my personal favourite) was this Alkanphel, which they showed us back in 2006 (Yes, you heard right 10 YEARS AGO!!): My question is...........what do you guys think ever happened to them? Kept by the sculptor as a souvenir? Given/sold to a Fan? Packaged up in a box collecting dust in some warehouse? or worst of all.....thrown away!! What Guyver Anima DVD in english are out and were can I buy them online?

Hi everyone! This is my 1st post! I watched Guyver when I was younger and was a huge fan. I've been meaning to get back into it, and finally have. I just bought Guyver I by Max Factory, and I can't wait for it to come! Information on the web about Guyver is quite hard to find, so can you post a complete list of what Guyver figures have been released (preferably with pictures as I can't remember names!), as I understand there are action figures, and models. Can the models be used as figures? Do they have any articulation? Also, where do you recommend to buy them from (I live in the UK), as they are expensive! Thanks!

I've checked around a bit, and I can't find any definitive frame from the manga that shows exactly what happened to guyver 2's medal after being ejected from the suit. A lot of the earlier manga pages were pretty loose with details on smaller things like that, but... ...the animations don't explicitly show what happens, either. I always assumed it was destroyed by Sho's mega smasher, but we know later on that the guyver control medals can survive a mega smasher easily(to the point where Sho is vaporized, but his control medal isn't even singed). After alk used the remover it just laid there on the floor. I wonder if the guyver 0 unit was just given back to uranus or is still somewhere on the island in alks possession. Maybe it will come into play later in the story.

I have had this question for a very long time ever since Yuki mentioned that the series was getting to a finishing point. I don't know if Yuki knows or if any of the staff or the GA (Guyver Advocacy) members know. But I have become very curious. Perhaps the members and staff,Have already discussed the future issue. What happens when the final issues of Guyver is released and Yoskiki is finished with his life's work? What happens to Guyver Advocacy when they have finished translating it and there isn't going to be that 'Next chapter' or that 'Next issue." What happens than? Just curious. When a unit first bonds with a host it is thought the control medal records everything about the host. Not being developed for humans the unit does not know the difference between host and non host. So, hy does the unit not regenerate the hosts clothes? One could say the materials are not organic but most clothing material is, or originates from. One could say it is not living organic material but neither are hair or finger/toenails or teeth. I have thought abuot the space which nerves reach but again the hair and nails thing. I have thought that perhaps the unit can sense and read a hosts aura and utilises that field as the extend of what is host and…

Do you ever think they would do a remake of the movies? I'm thinking maybe Michael Bay in the far or near future? If he decided to remake the version with Sean as the Guyver. He'd probably have Megan Fox play as Mizuki and Shia Labeouf play as the Guyver. Something like that since he's doing stuff like Transformers, horror files like Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elmstreet, and not to mention Ninja Turtles. Thoughts?

Basically what I was thinking is similar in part to the other what if, well it should have been what if Sho's Guyver that is if it's in the right section of the forum of the guyver board? In this case what would have happened if Risker hadn't activated the Guyver but or a slight twist: A) The zoanoid found it, as it is damaged. B) It's lost and is either found by someone else, not chronos, or Sho's friend finds it and it activates it. C) If Risker had been a hyper zoanoid and bonded to either a damaged unit G2 or an undamaged G2 D) Like the first two but it isn't in the damaged state from its landing when found, plus Risker gets it in undamaged state and activates it…

hey boys, im sure that no-one has asked this yet but if the unit-g would attach to a really fat man would he be a fat guyver or would the guyver make him muscly? and if he was fat would he be slower than sho or agito?

When the host of the guyver unit dies a sudden death in battle, the unit is lost. I think we're all agreed on this fact, judging by previous posts. But what if the host were to die of old age? I think we touched on disease in a previous post and that it's believed that it would heal/prevent illnesses. But every creature dies a natural death eventually. What are your thoughts on the matter?

In my opinion I feel like it's not a bad story and setting. Young boy obtains great powers, gets thrown into a terrifying world of monsters and evil rulers, etc. It's not a deep thought, provoking story that redefines anything, but it's sure as hell fun! Even the publisher of Dragon Ball stated that there is nothing special about the story. Just characters fighting and getting stronger. Was it the gore and violence? Plenty of successful anime and manga have gore.
